Who gets anything for FREE anymore (am I right)?! We are SO glad we selected this package! Our first meeting, for the engagement shoot, allowed all of us to get to know one another. I truly believe this helped make our wedding day photos turn out phenomenal, as we had already gotten to know them pretty well and were extremely comfortable with Krista & Matt. We had a blast with them during our engagement shoot. ALL of our photos turned out colorful and vibrant! We did opt to have a few photos turned into black and white, which look amazing, too!! You cannot go wrong with this husband and wife team. They are extremely talented and both have creative eyes. Follow their direction, they know what looks good in their lenses!

They are very personable, laid back, and made my husband and I feel comfortable in front of the camera. We loved hanging out with them while doing our engagement shoot. They kept us laughing the entire time. They also were willing to travel from Eagle River to Green Bay for our engagement shoot too. They were always on time for our meetings and on our wedding day they showed up an hour earlier then we had originally planned because our timeline had shifted. While they were taking photos at the ceremony I never noticed them. They were very good at blending in. Our bridal party absolutely loved working with them as well as our family. Matt and Krista were there all day with us and before they left for the evening they checked in with us to make sure we got all of the shots we wanted. We initially chose Fornear for their photo quality and color, but we are so glad and can't even express how happy we are that we went with them. Our first sneak peek of our wedding photos are beautiful and we can't wait to see the rest of them! Matt and Krista are a wonderful couple who will help make your wedding day memories super special!

Typically we received responses within an hour or two, not "days" which we experienced with other vendors. Both were incredibly friendly, and our pre-wedding consultation ended up being 90 minutes of just talking, which I think truly helped them get to know us and in turn made us feel very comfortable around them. At one point on the wedding night, I found myself talking with Matt about something completely non-wedding or non-photo related. They really felt like an extension of our guests at the wedding. OH, and I haven't even touched on the quality of shots they take. Matt has an incredibly creative mind, and Krista will step in with other ideas of shot which truly makes them a great team. We wanted someone that could capture the day we intended without forcing the situation. From the moment we met Matt and Krista we knew they were going to be different. We sat down at a local coffee shop and set to challenging them to decide if they were for us. At almost every turn things just fit. When pushed on a subject there was real contemplation and an honest answer. Krista and Matt compliment each other personally and professionally perfectly. Krista is extremely personable and friendly. Matt is a bit more stereotypically “the photographer”. Matt initially came across as shy but we soon realized it was quiet confidence evenly mixed with the fact that he was actually listening rather than boasting about his business. He was there to sell himself and the product that he and his wife so lovingly produce, yet we were the factor that truly mattered. Matt and Krista delivered exactly what they told us they would. They were on time and they were plugged in and present for every moment of the day. Every part of our wedding photographers exceeded our expectations. our big day! They did a great job of making us feel important during the wedding planning discussions and at ease on our wedding day. Matt and Krista worked great as a team, capturing multiple perspectives of our first look, wedding party and ceremony. We loved their ability to make the local park, church and reception venue look amazing with their use of lighting and perspective. We also loved the bright vibrant colors they were able to capture. Matt and Krista not only traveled to southwest Wisconsin for our wedding, but they also did an engagement shoot in the area as well. The engagement shoot took place on a close family friend’s farm, so the fact that they were able to come to us to capture the photos in that special location was very meaningful. The engagement photo session occurred in the winter, and Matt and Krista were able to capture some very creative photos of us with the winter landscape and snow storm that day. After our engagement shoot, we received our edited photos for digital download, rather than making us order a set of prints. Following our wedding we received a flash drive with all our photos, which again allowed us to choose our own pictures for printing. For both the engagement shoot and wedding photos, some sneak peek photographs were uploaded to the Fornear Photo Facebook site, allowing us and our friends and family to enjoy some right away. Leading up to the wedding Matt was very responsive to our emails, sent a guide ahead of time to help us think about must-have photos, and arranged a phone call the week of the wedding to make sure we were on the same page. We have received lots of compliments on our photos and we are extremely happy with the photos and service we received from Matt and Krista. We would gladly recommend them to anyone.

wedding photos were amazing. I am in awe of how they capture candid facial expressions. Secondly, I would recommend them because they are so patient and easy to work with. They make the most of any change of plans or challenging situation. In our case it was the rainy weather. They also got some super cute pictures of a very excited black lab as his human parent got married. Thirdly, they make an excellent team. They work together to create the most spectacular photos. One example I am referring to was the "first look" photos. They were each at different vantage points and were able to get both the bride's and groom's expressions simultaneously. They were all over during the reception enabling them to capture the fun and excitement of the celebration. I would highly recommend Fornear Photography. (If they can make your mother-in-law happy, it's worth it, right? 😉)

Besides the amazing photos I saw online, I loved that they included an engagement shoot in their price to be able to get to know us as a couple before hand. Another huge reason on hiring Fornear Photo was not having a time limit on our wedding day. I remember them telling us "we will be there as early as you need and stay as late as you want and won't leave until you think we've taken enough photos of your day". They did just that! They were on time, organized, and listened to what we wanted and also used their creativity to capture some awesome photos! Matt and Krista are AMAZING! We were rained out of pretty much every plan we made and our whole schedule was pushed back due to an unforeseen event. Matt and Krista didn't skip a beat. They went with the flow all day, kept me calm (which was probably quite a task at times) and took beautiful, amazing pictures. We chose them because we wanted the look they created, the vibrant, beautiful colors they are able to capture. They fit our personalities more than any other photographer I can imagine. I hope to use them again and again in the future for family pictures and whatever other photographer needs we may have!! They are the best!

. There was also no pressure to do book packages that I didn't want and I was able to get exactly the right package for our wedding. On the day of our wedding, Matt & Krista showed up on time, were dressed appropriately, were lovely to myself, my husband, our families, and all of our guests. My husband is not that comfortable in front of the camera and Matt was great at making sure he was relaxed, not overwhelmed. Our photos arrived yesterday with a USB with about 600 edited photos with 10 or so complimentary prints in a beautiful wooden box. The photos look wonderful and we are very pleased. Since you get two shooters, you can get a couple of different angles of the same moment. Unfortunately, not all vendors we booked for our wedding were five star vendors, so having Matt & Krista on board was such a relief. They do their jobs well, do not cause any stress, and were wonderful to work with.

nd fun, while still being clearly professional. That's exactly what we got with Matt and Krista Fornear. They were easy to work with right from the start, even when I was frazzled with other wedding stuff and wasn't being as communicative as I could have been. They were very patient and kind and, even though they live in Wisconsin, they were willing to travel to the Chicago area just for an initial visit! I liked them immediately, and was more than happy to hire them. Our package included a engagement shoot, which I was nervous about because generally, I really hate having my picture taken. However, they managed to put me at ease during our engagement shoot (partly because they were cool enough to meet us at a brewery before beginning the shoot, then the shoot moved into one of our favorite beer bars, which was so much fun!). I had a great time, and they shot beautiful photos. Doing the engagement shoot meant that, come my wedding day, I was not nervous at all about the pictures. That meant a lot to me because that was my #1 anxiety when I first started planning the wedding (because of my aforementioned hatred of having my picture taken). They were so easy to work with, willing to travel, fun and funny, professional, and they took absolutely gorgeous photos. One of my favorite things about the wedding photos is not just that they took amazing pictures of myself and the groom, our wedding party and families (they did), but they captured some of the sweetest moments of our guests. Couples together, parents with their children--they managed to get in when it seemed no one knew they were there and get these really lovely moments. Matt and Krista captured everything I wanted captured and they did it in a fun, non-intrusive way. I couldn't have asked for better photographers.

This made us feel very special! We utilized their photo booth option and got some great shots of the guests! Their work is beautiful and they are very professional and responsive to all questions.
