I absolutely loved working with Amy at Forsythia Florals! From the beginning, she was so sweet, easy to work with, and incredibly open and transparent about what to expect. I never felt like I had to have every detail figured out—I knew I could trust Amy to take my vision and run with it, and she completely exceeded my expectations.
The florals were absolutely beautiful and completely transformed the space. Amy also did an amazing job of staying conscious of our budget and helping me make decisions that would have the biggest impact without feeling like we needed to go overboard.
We couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out. If you want someone who is talented, trustworthy, thoughtful, and genuinely a pleasure to work with, I can’t recommend Amy enough!

Welcome Friends! My name is Amy and I’m the owner and floral designer behind Forsythia Florals. A little about me: I have always had a love of people, helping others and creating beautiful things for others to enjoy. Before I began my own company, I worked at the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline for 4 years, which allowed me to passionately refine my skill set for customer service, quick-thinking and dedication to everything I touch.
For those 4 years, I guided people on the worst day of their lives. As a florist, I do not take the privilege of celebrating with clients on the best days of their lives lightly. It is an honor to be a part of such joy after figuratively holding the hands of so many who will never be able to experience such happiness. I am so incredibly grateful for the lessons my previous work taught me, it has made me the woman I am today and I choose to live every second of my life to the fullest.
Weddings are a day of joy, celebration and excitement. What an immense pleasure it has been to flower over 400 weddings and metaphorically stand alongside my clients as they embark on the biggest adventure of their lives... marriage!

My business is so much more than flowers, I feel enthusiastically passionate about the Austin community where I believe in giving back by partnering annually with North Austin Oncology. Im 2021, I was celebrated as one of Austin’s Leading Women and am a current member of AWPA and KKG Austin area Alumni. I'm so excited to meet you!

as we started messaging, I had to hire her. She was so easy to communicate with, honestly made me feel like I was her only client, that’s how good she was. She met all my expectations and stayed within my narrow budget. About a month before our wedding, my sister died unexpectedly. Amy took pieces of her bridesmaids dress and placed them on our bouquets and also brought me a small disco ball, something to remind me of my sister, who was a real life disco ball and also was obsessed with them. Amy’s special touches, were some of the most impactful parts of my day. Amy turned from a vendor, to a friend. Absolutely amazing, hands down the best florist in the austin area.

owers were. Amy used the freshest, most stunning blooms—peonies the size of saucers and magnificent roses—and friends who took arrangements home told us they lasted for nearly a full week after the wedding.
In addition to her incredible talent, Amy is an absolute dream to work with. She is communicative, flexible, and incredibly responsive, answering every email, question, and concern within hours. She was also so patient as we debated whether to add overhead foliage—which, by the way, was worth every penny and something I highly recommend!
One of the things we appreciated most was Amy’s willingness to create a movable ceremony arch that could be relocated to the reception space afterward. This saved us a lot of money, and it also allowed us to enjoy that beautiful piece throughout the entire reception. It was absolutely stunning and one of my favorite elements of the day.
I cannot recommend Amy and Forsythia Florals highly enough!

She was very willing to work with me through a few rounds of proposals and even added some detail touches at the end when I had some last minute ideas. Amy exceeded our expectations and delivered stunning florals that met both our vision and budget. I honestly believe having a team of trusted vendors is the key to a successful wedding, and Amy is definitely an all-star!

One of the most important parts of my wedding to me was the florals- I feel like flowers really make or break the wedding vibe, and if they make the vibe they may break the budget....
As soon as I found Amy based on a recommendation from our venue (Hummingbird House) I knew she was the perfect florist for our wedding! I feel like most other aspects of a wedding you get to see in advance (rentals, venue, clothing, etc.) but florals are the big thing that you don’t get to see any of in advance and just have to trust your florist to do a great job. And I don’t see why you’d want to put that trust into anyone but Amy- she executed my vision perfectly, understanding exactly what I liked about my inspiration pictures to put together into the final product, selecting the perfect flower types to fit my vision without spending too much money on really expensive flower types. My wedding day flowers were everything I dreamed they would be and more! I literally can’t get over how gorgeous they were, and I received so many compliments on the flowers both on the day and afterwards!
I was very impressed that Amy genuinely cares about you not overpaying for your flowers. She had so much great advice on how to maximize our floral budget, what florals are actually needed to make a venue feel full, and giving her recommendations on things to switch around for maximum impact. I didn’t have any specific flower types I wanted, just a general look and vibe and she was able to select beautiful flowers that perfectly fit my vision while utilizing less expensive flower types.
Amy also handled taking my bouquet at the end of the night and shipping it off to be dried and pressed after the wedding.
I truly cannot describe what a joy it was to work with Amy and how much I loved the way all our flowers turned out! I wish they could last forever but I’ll keep looking at the photos until I die!

We were able to get everything we requested well within our budget. She was always transparent with pricing, and offered so many suggestions and options to elevate and fit our venue. When I decided to change the entire floral concept a few months before the wedding, Amy was so supportive of the decision and immediately got to work on a new proposal. We were both so excited for the change !
We are in absolute awe of her talent and vision. Her team perfectly enhanced the magic and beauty of our wedding venue. Every installation felt cohesive with the space. Our wedding florals were breathtaking and beyond our wildest dreams !!! My husband's mother passed away last summer, and we had forgotten the bouquet to set on her chair to remember her. Amy quickly put together a lovely arrangement for us, which turned what was a stressful situation, into a happy one. I would recommend her over and over!

eces was so easy since she works at Hummingbird House so often. It also helped that a few of my inspiration photos were actually of her work! She is super responsive to messages, and her crew arrived to the venue before I even got there Saturday to start setting up! One of my favorite touches that she provided was that the flowers for the corsages were attached to a metal cuff, instead of the beaded bracelets. She also provided our candles and hurricane vases which helped so much with cutting down on decor costs and length of set up. I truly think about our florals daily, and Amy really made my dreams come true. I highly recommend Forsythia Florals!

ht my vision to life in the most beautiful way! As someone who was considered a “type A” bride with a very specific vision, I knew from our very first interaction I could trust her, and I booked her immediately.
Throughout the planning process, my ideas were all over the place (along with my stress), but Amy never made me feel that way. She stayed calm, collaborative, and supportive every step of the way! I genuinely looked forward to our planning calls and her emails. She worked within my budget, got creative with me, and made the entire experience feel easy. Our florals alap ended up being one of the most complimented aspects of the wedding (not a surprise!).
Not only does Forsythia Florals create absolute magic, you can see that in every photo, but Amy herself is just as special!! She is kind, genuine, and truly a joy to work with!!

I made a Pinterest board of what I liked and sent it to Amy. From there she was so responsive and flexible in changing my vision and gave me her our florist advice. The day of the wedding came and I was absolutely BLOWN away from my florals! She took my vision, elevated it, and made it into real life! She also came to hand deliver my bridal bouquet the morning of the wedding, which was super sweet and a nice moment to have with her. She has the kindest soul and is bubbly! I wish I could have interacted more with her because she was that sweet.
She also did our centerpieces and greenery hanging from the tent, and we got so many compliments from our guests on the florals. Truly was so impressed with Amy. Really if you are thinking about booking with her, do it!!! 10/10 would recommend!!!

I also had one of my bridesmaids who is getting married next year literally send a photo of our flowers to her mom and said, “I want exactly this”. Amy NAILED it with my vision, and I couldn’t be happier. She also worked super closely with our coordinator to get all the tables set up with the right number of candles and votives, so that I didn’t overpay for either of their services. Not only is she great at her craft but also just the sweetest human being ever and always had such nice things to say when we interacted. I only wish I could have taken more florals home with me; they were so beautiful. I have a floral preservation artist that is going to be making me some items with the flowers so I can’t wait to get those back!
