Fort Harrison (The Garrison) was a wonderful venue! The food and service was amazing the day of and our wedding coordinator was wonderful. What drew us to it was the price and scenery. They did not have a food minimum, which seemed to be rare among the venues that we looked at, and they had a beautiful outdoor area for guests to cool down, visit, and enjoy the view. The food was delicious and they let you pick a lot of options for the buffet. At the risk of sounding cheesy, you definitely get more bang for your buck at this venue!

Wonderful location. Fabulous food! Delightful and helpful employees. Awful event coordinator. Her name is Kim Healy. There are two event coordinators choose the other one. Word of warning who you first make contact with is who you are stuck with.

on the night of the reception when the venue served the wrong meal to our guests. We also had hospitality baskets waiting for our guests at the hotel front desk, but not all of our guests received their baskets. On a good note, we did get a lot of compliments on the quality of the food.

had a buffet style diner, which was delicious, and the servers were so friendly! My only complaint is that it was July 2, and SO HOT! I couldn't believe that they couldn't make it any cooler, and it kind of prevented people for dancing for a while. But otherwise, fabulous! And can I just say - WHAT BANG FOR YOUR BUCK. Everything is included (tables, chairs, linens, etc.), and there's no way you could do a wedding for 200 people like I did and pay anywhere NEAR what I paid for this place. Made my wedding under budget!
