Working with the Harbor Beach Marriott was a wonderful experience, from start to finish. My husband and I live in New York, and planned our Florida wedding from out of state. When we first started our wedding planning process, we were put in contact and met with Deborah Colip, a senior catering sales executive at the hotel. Deborah was so kind, patient, and answered all of our questions. Once we booked, we began working with Taylor Cantrell, a senior event manager at the Marriott. There are not enough words to describe how phenomenal Taylor was to work with. Taylor was so incredibly helpful and our entire wedding weekend would not have been as successful and as wonderful as it was without her involvement. She answered all of our questions in the months leading up to our wedding, even taking time to speak with us on weekends as we got closer to our wedding date. She was positive, upbeat, and kept my husband and I calm and reassured. It was evident that Taylor was a seasoned pro, and knew the ins and outs of planning a wonderful event at the Marriott. We trusted Taylor's judgment along the way, and she always steered us in the right direction. The food was also phenomenal, and we received positive feedback from all of our wedding guests about our wedding entrees, late night food, and cocktail hour food. The property itself is also beautiful and relaxing. There just are not enough positive things to say about the Harbor Beach Marriott and its employees. Our wedding weekend was perfect thanks to everyone at the Marriott who helped us along the way!

Best venue in South Florida! I had a beach wedding without having to deal with the sand. The pictures don't do it justice, the staff is absolutely incredible, and the Plan B for the ceremony is still a very nice view of the beach.
I am from California and had a lot of people flying in plus many local friends and family. It was important to me that I could show off the beautiful city I now call home while also providing a little escape for my local friends. This was the perfect fit. Its a gorgeous resort that is in a prime location yet when you step onto the property you feel like you're on vacation. Fun fact, this is one of Mr. Marriott's favorite Marriotts in the world! He stays regularly.
Wendy was our first contact who gave us a tour and handled the contract. We instantly felt comfortable with her. She was never pushy at all and easily answered all of our questions. It became obvious to me that the venue sells itself as it is just so wonderful!
Taylor was our main contact and she went above and beyond. My Mother is very disabled and stayed at the hotel for a week. Taylor was available for whatever she needed. She even hand picked her room so she would have plenty of space to get around.
The wedding day was my dream and then some. The food was sensational, the banquet room is massive, and the process was easy from start to finish. They really worked with us on things and made sure we were well taken care of. And having the bridal suite right there makes everything run so smoothly. I could even go up and freshen up after photos before the ceremony.
I can't recommend the venue enough and I can't wait to have an excuse to go back. My husband and I definitely will be having our anniversary dinners there at the very least.

We cannot say enough about this venue. I’m a native south floridian who has never heard of this place prior to her wedding and it’s a hidden gem for a reason. Shelley Levy and her team cannot be spoken about highly enough. She helped us deal with every single hurdle, pre and during wedding, helped connect us to the spa for a day before SPAchelor and spachelorette, helped organize the complicated room block, and helped put together the pieces with us for a perfect wedding. Even during a health crisis during the wedding she made sure to follow up after and check in on us. We plan to have another event there soon just because it was so great. The property? Amazing. The ocean ballroom? Gorgeous. The rooms? Spacious and elegant. The FOOD???? Beyond words. If your budget allows for it, you need to have your wedding here.

Fairytale Wedding! Everything from the venue to the food was top notch. We had three events over the weekend - rehearsal dinner, wedding, farewell breakfast - and each were just as spectacular as the next. Our guests commented over and over what a beautiful resort and venue it was. They were own away by the food as well. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend!

This venue is spectacular! Cathy Patino made everything possible on site, from catering to delivering welcome bags she coordinated it all! She was wonderful to work with answered all wants and needs. It was really such a pleasure planning our wedding with such an amazing vendor! run don't walk!

I just had my wedding here at Marriott Harbor Beach on April 30th. My husband and I instantly fell in love with the ocean terrace, along with the hotel itself and the ballroom. Our wedding was a dream come true. We worked closely with Cathy the ballroom coordinator. She is amazing to work with, she always answered my questions and solved any problems that came up. I am also so thankful to her for bringing my wedding to life when my wedding planner last minute broke her ankle, Cathy took on her roll and made sure everything ran smoothly. It was a pleasure working with her. Also, all my guests have complimented us on the food at our wedding!!! The next day we had reserved two cabanas at the pool and had an after party pool party. It was an amazing weekend and above and beyond everything we had hoped for. I absolutely recommend this venue!!!

We signed with Marriott Harbor Beach because of the reliability of the Marriott name and because of the hotel’s multiple venues for different events. We had planned to have our Rehearsal Dinner on the beach, Cocktail Hour on the OceanView Terrace, and reception in OceanView Ballroom overlooking the ocean. We had to switch the Rehearsal Dinner to the OceanView Terrace due to high winds, and the Cocktail Hour inside the Riva restaurant due to rain. The venue is beautiful and our 75 guests enjoyed the multiple locations as well as the beach and pools. My husband’s uncle was not able to move his body from bed when he woke up that morning and it worked out that the Marriott sent up a masseuse to his room and provided him with heating pads and a wheelchair. My birthday was the day after the wedding and Deborah and Lorena (Day of Wedding Coordinator) kindly put a cake and birthday balloons in my hotel suite. We had a great experience having our wedding at the Marriott, and I recommend it to anyone else! We visited 9 other hotels in Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, and Miami but liked this the best for its location directly on the beach (only hotel that is located like that).

The venue and its views are wonderful and the resort amenities provided much to do for the guests between events. The food was impressive and the banquet team never missed a beat when a guest or vendor needed assistance. Ida is professional and prompt with providing the absolute best service throughout the wedding planning process and day-of. Your event will not only be beautiful but also be professionally ran by Ida and the rest of the event team.

The staff was incredible, the food was delicious and the venue itself is gorgeous! Ida was such a blessing throughout our entire planning process and we could not have done it without her. Everything was so easy there! Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend getting married here!

I wanted a wedding on the beach in Fort Lauderdale and as most people know your choices are fairly limited when that is what you are aiming for. I definitely saw the Marriott as a solid option until I went on our tour. Overlooking the fact that Deborah never returned a phone call about the tour and I finally got her assistant on the phone. The second we met Deborah she pushed us to a "No" on this venue. Despite the fact that we were flexible with dates and never gave any indication of our budget, she instantly started off with the fact that there is a $30,000 food and beverage minimum and that we wouldn't want to pay that. What does she know of my wedding budget? We said that was ok and to show us anyhow. I thought she would work with us to upsell us to that price point, but nope. Instead, she was completely uninterested looking at her phone and telling us about how we wouldn't want to utilize the spaces we were clearly interested in. Luckily, we found a gorgeous option with a person who is more than happy to upsell us to meet their price point in addition to discussing what we want.

We were sticking to a budget but definitely wanted a venue directly on the ocean! Being from the west palm area that left very few choices in our price range! When my husband took me to the Marriott harbor beach we both fell in love with the venue! Exactly what we wanted a one stop location for our guests to enjoy the atmosphere and weekend as well as a great location for our wedding! We have absolutely nothing but fantastic things to say this hotel was magnificent the staff and our event manager Ida Kraner went over the top! They truly made this a flawless and seamless process. All of my visions and ideas were listened too and took into account and definitely were displayed the day of. The hotel was recently renovated and gorgeous! The view is breathtaking and the amenities are a plus! I would definitely recommend this location if you are looking for fantastic food, quality staff, and a superb location! Your dreams truly come together when your special day is in the hands of elite members in the business!

This hotel has the best view in Fort Lauderdale. I had a destination wedding and the experience was amazing. From the food and the options available for the reception to the VIP treatment, the Marriot Harbor Beach provided an excellent service and we highly recommend this hotel if you are planning a wedding with a breathtaking scenery.

My husband and I had our wedding here on July 18, 2015! It was beyond spectacular! The event coordinator Katie was a dream to work with, she made everything I wanted happen. She coordinated with all of the vendors and just focused on making sure I got to enjoy every moment of the night! The hotel has amazing amenities (private beach, beach service, kayaks, paddle boarding, basketball, tennis and sooooo much more) for all of our out of town guests (95% of my wedding)! The ballroom was beautiful and the FOOD WAS AMAZING!!!! It was even better than what we had at the tasting! I would recommend this venue to any bride who loves the beach, loves entertaining, and wants to just take in every moment of the day without an ounce of stress!

We were married at the Marriott Harbor Beach Hotel a few weeks ago. The staff members were absolutely wonderful! They could not have been more accomodating every step of the way. The venue is beyond breathtaking. No words could describe how satisfied we were and how the Marriott Harbor Beach far exceeded our expectations! The Marriott Harbor Beach is, by far, the best venue to get married at in all of South Florida! We will be forever grateful!!!

This venue has a beautiful backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean. Our ceremony was held in the terrace and our reception in the oceanview ballroom. My guests had a wonderful time and so many beautiful pictures were taken. Service was excellent and definitely worth it. Our event coordinator was Shawn and she was an angel! We love and cherished our special day here- couldn't have picked a better venue!!!

The venue is simply magnificent. The food is excellent. Brennan Schilling our Event Manager went out of her way to help with the planning and coordinate all the events for the wedding day. You cannot plan a wedding with better views overlooking the ocean with cruise ships passing by. The ballroom gives you the effect that you are on a cruise ship. Simply breath taking. The day went on without a problem. Everything was coordinated according to our plans. Every staff member of the Marriott treated us as if we were royalty. They all went out of their way to make our stay and event a memory of a lifetime.

WOW!! I don't even know where to begin! I have nothing but extremely positive things to say about Shawn, Rita and the Harbor Beach Marriott Resort team. The venue is beautiful and gives you the beach feeling without actually having to get married on the beach if you don't want the mess of dealing with sand/wind etc . All of my guests thought the venue was beautiful. The staff from valet, concierge, bellman etc. were all wonderful and went above and beyond with their level of service.I Met with Shawn and Rita several times in person, but they were always available to me via email and responded quickly. They were extremely flexible! I had a number of issues come up regarding guest counts etc. and they went above and beyond to work with me. I would most definitely recommend this venue to another bride!
