The beach is breathtaking and the ballroom was able to host our 130 guests comfortably with plenty of space to dance and hold a band. Our guest who stayed at the Marriott couldn’t believe how comfortable the rooms were, complete with stunning views of the beach and lighthouse. The staff was incredible. Our tasting was perfectly planned out down to the finest details. The food was incredible and the chef took the time to discuss what we liked about each dish and how we wanted them presented. Our guests are still raving about their entrées and hors d’oeuvres. We can not thank the Marriott enough for making our wedding the perfect day!!

king for. The hotel has a boutique hotel tropical feel. The vibe was just what we were looking for. All the staff was amazing while we were there for the wedding weekend. Fanci, their event planner, ensured we were well cared for and so were our guests. The ceremony was on the terrace overlooking the ocean. Happy hour was on the south lawn near the pool. Reception in the beautiful ballroom. I would highly recommend the location.

rehearsal dinner Friday night. The food was 10/10 for both events and the hotel restaurant provided breakfast/lunch for the bridal party Saturday! We had beautiful weather and had our ceremony on the beach. The venue provided white chairs and an arbor for the ceremony as well as microphone/speakers if needed. We had our reception in the Grand Bahama room but there are other outdoor spaces available for receptions too. Again the food was amazing, the bar & serving staff for the events were awesome! Our only critique was the hotel rooms themselves were a bit outdated for the price. We had a few check in issues within our wedding group. I also was working with a catering/event coordinator that left her role after I had signed my contract with the venue and communication during that time was lacking but Fanci was able to pull everything together for us in the left couple weeks. But that added some unnecessary stress for me as the bride. Again our day was beautiful and we are thankful for everyone that played a role in making it so special!

What we get for the reception, for us it was a fairtly tale come true. Our wedding pictures are so beautiful with the ocean as our backdrop. Fanci Duvall went way beyond for us whilev we got our fairy tale wedding, we were on our stacation honey moon in the marriot. This was beyond 5 stars. I highly suggest tieing the knot here. g hurricane Ian destroyed our venue. I called so many venues on the east coast of Florida, and was turned down by many due to our small size and last-minute request. As soon as I spoke to Fanci and Angie I knew this was our venue. Within 24 hours they planned a beach front wedding ceremony with an intimate dinner/open bar on their beautiful ocean view terrace. They worked with several new vendors last minute to coordinate the wedding of our dreams without even bothering us because they knew the stress we were dealing with. On top of their wonderful customer service, we could not get over how amazing the food was. We literally booked this place without even visiting or trying the food and we were blown away. Our family members are all "foodies" who like to go to high end restaurants and are quick to judge or complain. Our filet minions and salmon dinners were cooked to perfection and full of flavor, everyone kept saying how amazing it turned out. The hotel gives you that boutique feel where they truly care about their guests along with a beautiful beach and pool area. Our family stayed for a long weekend, and they were so happy with it they all want to go back! If you are considering a beach front wedding with beautiful view, gorgeous hotel, and delicious food, check out this place!! 100% Recommend them!! <3

knew we wanted a destination wedding somewhere warm. Given we both love Florida, we compiled a long list of South Florida resorts to consider and this one was quickly a finalist so we planned a visit in January 2022 to see the property and area. From the second we arrived, we knew it was the venue for us. It’s right on the beautiful beach, the hotel is a little bit smaller (we didn’t want a mega resort), the staff was very friendly, and the surrounding area is awesome. We visited again in August for the tasting and the food was outstanding, we were blown away by the options and again by how inviting the staff was and how the chef was willing to work with us on some tweaks to our favorite dishes. Once we arrived at the property the week of our wedding, the fun really started. From check in to check out, our entire group was treated amazing and had nothing but great things to say about the hotel and the staff. The rooms are nice, pool is great, the beach is amazing, and nearly every room has a perfect view of the ocean. The day of is when the hotel staff really blew away our expectations and made our day the best of our lives. The area of the beach where our ceremony was supposed to take place was covered in debris from a hurricane the week before. The staff spent several hours clearing everything to give us the beautiful sand we always wanted. Then, we had the ultimate curveball thrown our direction. Our cocktail hour and reception was supposed to be on the terrace between the two towers; however, the wind had really picked up, so much so that full drinks were being blown over at cocktail hour. We made the difficult decision to move the reception to the indoor ballroom. To our amazement, Fanci was able to make it happen. EVERY piece of decor and setup was moved from the terrace to the ballroom in the exact way we envisioned it. I think every single person working at the hotel that night played a part in making that happen and we are very grateful they did — our reception was absolutely perfect. The food was excellent, our specialty drinks were awesome, and the staff was just so pleasant. From the time dinner ended till reception had to close, I don’t think anyone left the dance floor. Countless guests said it was the most fun they ever had at a wedding and I believe them. All that said, I think what you ultimately need from a venue is a customer first mindset and willingness to work with you, and that is exactly what Fanci and the entire team delivered. All reasonable requests were accommodated and it all led to the best day/night of our lives. We can’t recommend this property enough.

Furthermore, they were flexible with our changes and suggestions; always willing to make us happy and do what is right in the eyes of the customer. For example: they allowed us to bring our own cake and waived the cake cutting fee. Their service was overall top-notch and they made us feel like family. The only slight disappointment that we experienced was in the food. We did a buffet with small plates as a way to minimize COVID. The wedding taste was really amazing and the food was phenomenal. The chef even walked us through with what every small plate and buffet tray will have. However, during the reception, we noticed many dishes that we choose were missing their sides. For example: we had potatoes and brussel sprouts missing on two dishes. The staff didn’t notify or communicate this with us, which is strange given how wonderful things were up to that point. Overall, excluding the food issues, we were pleased with the service that the team provided and enjoyed the wedding.

We even had postponed our wedding 9 months due to covid and what could have been a very stressful experience was not due to Fanci, she is top of the line! was so beautiful to get married at, especially on the elevated terrace overlooking the ocean. Everyone there oozes hospitality and professionalism. Their whole sales, banquet, and wedding team is flawless, and their food and beverage team, with the chef, and captains, just made our weekend family and friends retreat for our wedding so special! I felt safe in the hotel with their Covid protocols and cleanliness. They were so helpful booking rooms for all my out-of-town friends and family, every server was very kind and helpful for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and the bar! Food during my cocktail hour and reception was absolutely amazing! I even had an intimate buffet breakfast reception in the Aruba room overlooking the ocean. The spa was amazing as well! We got pedicures, and massages, the whole hotel felt like a home away from home. There are so many hotels along A1 A, but this hotel has spacious amount of land and beach, it’s right on the beach! There are so many hotels in Fort Lauderdale that are not directly on the beach, A1A separates the hotel from the beach and ocean. This place was a no-brainer! Please don’t look anywhere else! This is the best place to host any event, worth every penny!

From the front desk, valet, and house keeping team to Janae literally helping me unload my car with all of the stuff for the reception and ceremony - we could not have picked a better place to have our wedding. The beach ceremony was absolutely beautiful, cocktail hour on the terrace was perfect with the sun setting in the background, and reception room perfect! The beach behind the beach with the lighthouse and sand dunes were the perfect backdrop for our photos. Fanci was on top of everything day of and was responsive to all emails and phone calls leading up to the day of. We can’t wait to make it a yearly trip for our anniversary!

ike our event was special. Veronika was our coordinator and even though we never got to meet her in advance of our day, we felt a real connection and kinship with her. She was so kind and considerate, taking care of details we never thought to ask about. We felt confident going into the wedding weekend that we were in good hands. During the weekend, the staff made us feel like we were very important guests. They left us snacks and refreshments the day we arrived. We had all events for the weekend at the hotel to make it easy for our guests who were traveling to the hotel from all over the country. The welcome dinner was poolside and the hotel provided lighting for the event so that we could still see our guests faces. The dinner was delicious Florida-style craft pub style food and a big hit with the guests. The day of the wedding we had to be in close contact with Veronika due to the weather conditions. While there wasn't rain, the winds were blowing strong. Veronika walked the grounds with my wife and they determined together that we should move the entire event indoors for the comfort of everyone. We worked with vendors recommended by Veronika, who were all extremely professional and excellent in their respective crafts. Everything happened behind the scenes for us and they were able to move the ceremony indoors seamlessly. I'm excited to see the video footage from that day because there dozens of kite surfers on the water right outside our window, a beautiful detail from our windy day. We are so grateful to have had our event at a place that made us feel special.

nika was a real gem. Her contagious joy for life mixed with her professionalism made us fall in love with this place. On the day of the big day, she was there with her assistant Vicky making sure that the arch was set up properly outside, the reception room was well equipped and decorated and every other details that had to be taken care of! They even set up all the last minute details without us even noticing it ! My only regret is that I can't go back and re-live my entire reception over again! I highly recommend the Marriott, and especially Laura, who was a fantastic coordinator!

Again, Laura had the table set up within 10 minutes and no one was inconvenienced. It was really nice through the planning process that Laura worked directly with my vendors. I basically just had to pick my vendors, make some decisions about table cloths and Laura took care of the rest! We had a Sunday afternoon reception to try and save on some costs. The entire staff at the hotel recognized us almost immediately upon our arrival and treated us like royalty over the 4 days that we stayed! I really don't have a bad thing to say about the whole experience with Laura and her team at the Marriott Pompano!

searched many hotels from Sunny Isles to Singer Island before deciding on the Marriott. We worked with Laura from the beginning to the end and she made sure all of the details of the day were taken care of. She was very responsive in answering a million questions. I was initially thinking of getting a day of wedding planner to assist with the coordination of all of the activities that were going on that day. After talking to some other vendors, I was told I would not need one and not to waste my money as Laura and Alexis were on the ball. They were all correct and I was very glad I didn't get a day of coordinator. We had Angelica as our server and she was amazing. She was very attentive and went above and beyond in making sure we had food and drinks and were happy.

Emily helped us through the entire process and was absolutely amazing, she went above and beyond to ensure that everything from planning to execution the day of went exactly how we envisioned. She even went as far to text me some pictures of the room when was getting ready to confirm it was what I wanted. Her and the entire staff truly went above and beyond. Our guests have not stopped complimenting the hotel, many guests stayed there and enjoyed the pool restaurant and beach, all of the wedding guests have complimented the food, service and choice of venue. Truly could not have asked for more!
