Forte Strings was scheduled to play for 2 hours – prelude through cocktail hour. Shortly after the ceremony the skies opened up and everything was moved inside. Forte Strings did not miss a beat. They were flexible and made due with the space they were allotted, which wasn’t very much!
From the beginning we worked with Sharon Hawkins and she was professional and helpful start to finish. I knew we had nothing to worry about. This is a seasoned quartet with a very large repertoire. Having the quartet at the wedding took the ceremony and cocktail hour from ordinary to really something special. Imagine grabbing a cocktail and you hear a familiar tune – Taylor Swift’s Love Story! So fun! Don’t think about it, just do it! You won’t be sorry. I felt the cost was very reasonable and would do it all over again if I could!

ht before the wedding, I made an addition to the program, and they were so easy going and accommodating to the change. The day of everything went so smoothly, and they sounded great. In the morning we did a first look in the chapel, where they were practicing/warming up, and we asked if they could pause while we did the first look. They stopped playing during our first look time, and waited patiently for us to finish. They worked with us through the entire thing, making everything go perfect. They have such a large variety of music selection, and will even add songs if you have something specific. Thank you Sharon and team for helping make our day perfect!

Really easy to work with and it was just such an amazing addition to have such a gorgeous performance at our wedding. They even played songs from the Lord of the Rings. They were so professional and added a sense of magic to our wedding. Definitely will work with them again. Truly made the wedding so much more elegant. Loved having them there to add so much to our fairy tale wedding.
I Highly recommend Forte Strings for any event that requires a professional Violin Quartet.

ted certain songs played, which were not in their current repertoire. Sharon went out of her way to locate the music, and they put on a magnificent performance. They were on time, set up, and ready to play as soon as we walked through the door. They had to rush over from a previous engagement (which was across town), and they were still in place and ready to play at the agreed upon time.
When it comes to Professional Musicians, Sharon and her group Forte Strings are at the Top of my list.

gs has mastered it. On April 21, 2013 they played an integral part in our daughter's wedding in the garden. The ambiance created by their strings before during and at the conclusion added the crowning touch to the romantic/sacred event. They are exceptional musicians who play very well together making each selection a delight.
In addition it is important to note that Sharon is exceptional at communicating with everyone involved. And the selection of music available is remarkable. So if they are available on the day of your special occasion do not think twice - they are the best ever.

e made the hardest part of plannng the ceremony real easy. I honestly did not have to worry about them one bit. She showed up to the dress rehearsal as planned with the pieces we had selected a head of time. The day of the wedding Forte Strings was flawless.;If you would like to include a vocalist contact the group more than 3 weeks in advance. I was able to include a vocalist with the piano selecetions. Just not with the string quartet selections due to my procrastination.
They had an excellent repertoire and although I had to choose some of my music last second from the list they were very adaptable and accomodating. I enjoyed their playing exceed...
ingly and they were one of the highlights of my wedding and what gave the wedding wonderful ambiance.;The one thing about this was that they may not be able to come to your rehearsal. I never got to hear them play at mine (he had another wedding to go to). They will only send one for rehearsals so be aware. Also always be honest about the money issue. Let them know that you appreciate them coming and talk to them about money issues and how you can work around it. To make costs more effective and yet get the best for our money we figured out that the best thing to do was to have two players for the ceremony and all four for the reception (thus lowering the costs in hundreds).
Prompt excellent tranition from wedding t reception beautiful sound;Like to be paid on time!

eat during the whole process! They send out a packet of information that helps you pick out all of your songs and they'll play custom songs (songs not on their list) if you give them enough time to prepare. They sounded perfect the day-of our wedding and were wonderful to work with!!!
They worked with me to do whatever I wanted!
