Great venue. It speaks for itself and is beautiful. The venue has a split to the floor plan. A patio, a pre-funk area and then the reception space itself. Affordable packages and very helpful staff. Your day of event coordinator is super helpful and has a lot of experience and can help you deal with trying to bring the best of both worlds together.

Couldn’t have done this wedding planning process without Summer and her team! Very responsive and has a lot of wedding expertise to share with clients. She is very present in the time leading up to the event as well as the day of to make sure everything goes off without a hitch! Great facility to host events at that are accessible for all ability levels

We absolutely loved our experience with Founders One Nine for our wedding reception on 10/1/22! Summer, the event coordinator, was a dream to work with, very efficient and organized, as well as honest with us about our ideas! She made the whole process seamless and we knew we were in good hands on the day of the wedding! We enjoyed the monthly tasting dinners through Catering Creations and were able to create a custom menu for our guests, we got rave reviews on the food! We would absolutely recommend hosting your wedding reception or event at Founders!

We absolutely loved Founders One Nine and Catering Creations. We cannot say enough positive things about Summer and her staff! The food was wonderful, the desserts were delicious and the drinks were always flowing. Summer was always quick to respond, took care of everything for us, and made our day go as smoothly as possible! The kitchen staff, servers, and bartenders were helpful and extremely friendly. Founder’s is the perfect place to host your wedding reception, my husband and I had an amazing experience for our recent wedding. The space itself is beautiful, the only decorations we used were up-lighting along the walls and table centerpieces. The food is incredible, I still get compliments from my family and friends about how good the food was. There were no issues with acoustics, I’m not sure what other older reviews are talking about when they refer to that, perhaps they had an inexperienced DJ. Summer is amazing to work with, so helpful and responsive, she made sure the night flowed without any issues. We had about 145 guests (less than expected due to covid) and it filled the space beautifully. Highly recommend Founder’s One Nine!!

My husband and I got married here on 10/22 and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer day! Summer laid everything out on the table from the get go, making the process super smooth. She made sure us and our guests were taken care of. I could not be more thankful! Our guests ranted and raved about how cute the venue was and how amazing the food tasted. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone for their special day!

I am so happy we went with Founders One Nine for our wedding reception. Summer and her team did an extraordinary job helping me plan/organize/execute a wonderful night. The food was AMAZING - seriously got so many compliments. The drinks were delicious and not watered down like you sometimes get at weddings. The space was beautiful. The outdoor area my guests absolutely loved. Summer was available 24/7 for my countless questions, asks and changes to our proposal. She worked tirelessly the night of to ensure everything went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend this space for anyone looking for an organized and perfect wedding venue.

Founders was really great to us over the past 2 years. We had to postpone due to COVID, and they made the process seamless! We had so many compliments on the venue from our guests, and the food was amazing!

I had my wedding reception at Founders ONE | NINE on January 30, 2021. To say my new husband and I had a five star experience is an understatement.  Planning: My (now) husband and I got engaged six months before our intended wedding date. We chose Founders ONE | NINE as our reception venue because the space was big enough (we were planning on a 400 guest list); it is a romantic, industrial style; and it fit our budget. It also has a separate bridal room, which experience has told me is imperative. However, the biggest reason was the staff. Summer, the event producer, was incredibly kind, but also the kind of person you know will get things done. So, the space and the staff were perfect!  Planning my wedding was a roller coaster, to say the least. The pandemic was still raging and regulations/calls for safety were constantly shifting. However, Founders ONE | NINE knew this was a difficult time, and promised to work with me and make sure my big day was special, even if only 12 people could come (this would fall way below the minimum price, which they waived for the pandemic).  Summer and the Catering staff kept in contact with me throughout the entire planning process. They helped me find venders, had recommendations for décor, invited me to several INCREDIBLE tasting nights (the food is insane here), and met with me as many times as I needed. Working with this venue was the fun part of wedding planning!  The Week Before: I was my own event planner. Nothing could prepare me for the barrage of necessities I had to complete the week before. Summer told me to let her handle things. I would literally just give my vendors' Summer's cell phone number and she coordinated everything. Flowers, decorations, the lighting, the DJ, my cake... it was all coordinated to arrive and set up in the venue by Summer and the Founders One I Nine staff.  The Big Day: It could not have been more perfect. My guests are still complimenting me on how much fun they had. The venue was gorgeous and everyone on staff made the night a blast. My photos are AMAZING (especially the ones Summer texted me the week after).  I highly recommend this place if you're getting married in Omaha!

Summer at Founders was fantastic to work with! Even through a pandemic, Summer calmed all of our fears and helped us step by step to make our wedding reception possible. We were constantly changing our plans, from timeline down to food and Summer was so patient with us. Hands down I would recommend Founders One Nine for your event, but more importantly I highly recommend Summer!

We had an amazing experience with Founders! Summer was great to work with! With all of our changes due to Covid, she still helped make our dream wedding happen. The venue is so unique and beautiful, it didn’t require a lot of extra work. The food was amazing! It was great that they prepare it right there so it all tasted very fresh. Summer and the whole staff at Founders were simply incredibly. They worked with us day and night to get our wedding planned since we had to start over completely on very short notice. They are so transparent and show you everything you need to know up front without hiding anything. We came into the big day knowing what to expect and that kept us at ease. I can’t recommend them enough!!

Founders One Nine and Summer Rose seriously saved the day! My daughter got married on 8-22-20 at The Joslyn Art Museum we had full intensions to host everything there. However, we were faced with several restrictions and constant changes at the Joslyn. The closer the wedding date came and no guarantees just more restrictions we felt the need to immediately find a new reception location so all our guests could attend at least her reception and view her ceremony via live streaming for the guest count the Joslyn did not allow to attend. We were so upset with COVID ruining so may aspects of her wedding. A friend recommended Founders One Nine. After meeting with Summer Rose multiple times just 5 weeks before the wedding day sharing with her ALL our concerns plus our expectation's to host a NORMAL as possible reception, Summer assured us Founders and she personally had our best interest at heart. She genuinely wanted to do everything they could to make my daughters day a beautiful experience for us and our guests. Over the weeks before we faced several up's and down's, some very emotional days as we were facing the mask mandate vote and we personally were hell bent against it at the wedding. Summer truly was our rock.... a personal counselor so to speak. She no matter what always responded right away, called, text and at any time of the day or night. She talked me off the cliff a few times. With every hurdle we found a solution, she always stayed positive and supportive. We had a wonderful reception and experience with Founders One Nine. She stayed at the reception to make sure we were well taken care of and everything went off flawlessly. I will forever be grateful for her friendship and the sincere love and care we felt from working with Summer Rose and Founders. Thank you Summer and Founders for the cherished memories of such a magical moment.

The founders One nine truly helped us a lot! Especially during Covid they bent over backwards trying to do everything possible to make anything we wanted work. Very stressful time but they helped us so much. I highly recommend them, especially ask for Summer she was our number one gal there and if outstanding!

Founders One Nine was the perfect venue for our wedding. We had a pretty small wedding (about 70 people) but you could easily have a much larger wedding and the space certainly would accommodate that. The food from Catering Creations was raved about during our reception. We went pretty non traditional with Asian inspired appetizers, a chef cooked wok entree, and multiple Asian desserts paired with mango ice cream and a coffee bar. The late night snacks we choose were pretzel bites and warm cheese sauce - mouth watering as I type this out.. had guest coming up to us all night with compliments. Everyone was very accommodating with our requests for both the ceremony and reception seating (some family had concerns with covid) and also our design for the reception.

We loved having our wedding reception at Founders. The crew was fantastic, especially given the uncertainty of having to re-plan a postponed wedding due to a pandemic. They changed management of wedding planning in the middle of our engagement period, which initially worried us, but the new event planner was up to speed and so helpful in no time. They require use of their in-house caterer, which was fine with us as they were highly rated and very supportive of our menu requests. The day-of was stress free and they were lovely to work with.

I recently had my wedding reception at Founders One Nine and it one of the best choices I could have made for our big day. From the initial consultation all the way until the big day, Christine and the Founders team made sure that every detail was perfect along the way. Christine helped to make our bar and menu options through their caterer (Catering Creations), unique and special to me and my husband. Christine was quick to answering all my random questions, making sure the layout was perfect for us, and even providing such much needed insight on what works well with the space. I cannot stress enough how easy it was to work with Founders and Catering Creations. If you're looking for a venue for a wedding reception or just an event, you need to meet with Founders!

We could not have had a better wedding experience than with Founders One Nine. Christine, MJ, and the catering team made everything so smooth and easy for us and we could not be more thankful. They worked with us to make our day magical and stress free. The space itself is gorgeous and can be transformed to fit any style of decor that you can dream up. Our family and friends gushed about the service from these wonderful human beings AND about how the space contributed to a perfect evening. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this venue to any couple looking to have a stress free and extremely organized planning experience.

Founders One Nine was a gorgeous space for my wedding reception. Christine was extremely helpful in making sure that my vision came it life. I had so many questions and she was so patient and helpful in answering my questions. She was always willing to touch base with myself as the bride, my mom or our wedding planner. The food was amazing, over a month later I am still getting rave reviews of all of our food. I loved hearing guests favorite appetizer and of course our late night snack tater tot nacho bar was a HIT! I would high recommend having your wedding here!

MJ/Christine & Team killed it. Everything was perfect. Communication was excellent, planning, preparedness was perfect. 10/10 would recommend!

We have gotten so many compliments on our venue and our food! The Founders was perfect for our winter wedding and very accommodating. The food, service and ambiance was exactly what we were looking for!

This is a gorgeous and spacious venue. Our guests were wowed by how beautiful our reception was and we got so many compliments on the food!! It was SO good! From my perspective, the catering staff and bartenders handled our event seamlessly. I never noticed any long lines waiting at the bar. I do think they could have cut and served the cake sooner though, there was a noticeable wait. I would have my wedding here all over again, but I am giving 3 stars for a few reasons. Our event coordinator got a new job halfway through our planning process, so we were transitioned to another staff member. While she did a great job answering questions and working with me over email, unfortunately she never introduced herself to me in person in the days leading up. This seemed pretty impersonal, and I think she caused the next issue as well... The thing that still bothers me about Founders One Nine is that the cleanup crew threw away almost all of my table decorations!! I couldn't believe that! It had never crossed my mind to specify NOT to do this. When my mom told them to stop, they CHALLENGED HER and said that their boss had told them to. So sadly, I am left with one single card from the hundreds that had been placed on everyone's plate with a sweet thank you message, something that I had designed and printed myself. So much for keepsakes. They also threw away most of the artificial eucalyptus stems at each place setting, as well as all of my table numbers. This was really disappointing too, as they were really beautiful and I was planning to resell them. Overall, these things didn't impact our wedding negatively, but I was sad to hear how my decorations and family were treated the minute I walked out the door that night.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I gave the coordinator and owner the offer to meet with me or call me to discuss, and they did neither. So unfortunately I feel I need to write this review I am the mother of the bride and we just had our daughter and son In laws reception here on October 20th. First, the event planner who took over for our first coordinator who quit, called in sick the day of our event. We were nervous about someone new taking over midstream, then to call in the day of the event proved even worse for us. I get it, it happens and can't be controlled or planned. I entered the venue and was greeted and shown the bridal suite, inquired about the cake and flower arrival, then moved the parking cones in the very limited parking lot myself with 2 toddlers, while in a dress and heels. I guess this girl i was greeted by was the stand in event coordinator. Never saw the event coordinator the rest of the night, although my daughter was told she said she was in contact with me the entire evening. Not true and she knows it. Next, when I asked at one of the multiple food tastings we attended if we could have the leftover food at the end of the evening, I was told sure, no problem by the coordinator who is the coordinator who called in sick. Why didnt she go into the fact that the food is owned by the caterer per the contract, and you only get it if they feel safe? Imagine my surprise at the end of the night when I asked if the food was packed up I was told they would send over a manager who told me the food sat out for 3 hours and was tossed as it wasn't safe. This was the absolute first time I talked to him, but he too stated that he was in contact with me when they took down the buffet at 730, and also when they took down the pizza. He also knows that is not true. That was my first and only interaction with him the entire night! Not sure how the food sat out for 3 hours when the buffet was only up an hour and a half. The bar also shut down early, and the servers were taking plates and food from people. We had several complaints from our guests. My daughter sent an email to the coordinator and received a response that the food belonged to the caterer and was deemed not safe, and also added the part about the employees being in contact with me which is not true. I sent an email then, indicating this was not correct, and that is not how things happened. I have not received a response and this is very poor customer service. So we ate at 6, buffet broken down and put away at 730, which is an hour and a half, not 3 hours. Pizza at 930 was also taken down without my consent, and for 450 I think we had no more than 4 to 6 pizzas come out. Never was told why we weren't offered the leftover pizza either. Unfortunately, there are no do overs. They made several mistakes that I dont feel they are owning or trying to make it right. I personally will never use them again or refer anyone to them. I understand not everyone who uses this venue/caterer will experience what we did or share my opinion based on how I feel we were treated, but just sharing our story. This event was mismanaged, and I feel they had very inexperienced young people running it. If we could do it over, certainly would not use this place as there are better venues out there who know how to run a reception correctly. Also, the parking is not ideal, crossing Jackson street after a few drinks is a recipe for disaster.

To say that I recommend Founders One Nine for your wedding would be an understatement. We stumbled upon this venue as an accident when we were in town touring venues for our wedding and it was the best thing that happened to us! MJ, Tevin, and all of the staff at Founders are incredible to work with. Everyone was kind, accommodating, and went above and beyond for every single aspect of our wedding (& even when I would stop just to look at the venue when I was in town). Without these people and this gorgeous venue our wedding would not have been the same. I also wish I could convey the sheer volume of people that have told me that our wedding was the best food they've ever had and our guests came from all over the U.S. to enjoy our day with us! You will never regret the decision to go with Founders!

We had the best experience working with Natalie to plan our reception at Founders. Our wedding reception was absolutely beautiful in this venue and we cannot rave enough about how awesome all of the staff members were that night! From the security guards to the servers, everyone was so fun! I would highly recommend Founders One Nine to future brides!

We absolutely loved Founders ONE NINE for our wedding reception venue! We knew that this was the place from the first walk-through. We both live out of state and wanted a large, convenient downtown location without the "hotel conference room" feel. The outdoor space sold us with an awesome view of downtown. The place is very simple with white walls, concrete floors and an original brick accent wall. It has an industrial, mimimalist style. The place is beautiful even without a whole lot of decorations. Natalie was great to work with! Since we live out of state, she made it very convenient for us to make decisions and contact her. We picked a general food plan, but it was so good and we received numerous compliments about it. Between the unique venue space, food and excellent service staff, it left us and our guests happy with our decision.

I don't think we will ever be able to express our gratitude to Natalie and the Founders folks for helping us plan and execute our wedding on July 28, 2017. As soon as we walked into the space, we knew that Founders was THE place we wanted to get married. Architecturally, it is elegant, while still being chic and simple. It is a blank canvas in the best sense- we chose to decorate very minimally to leave all the beauty of Founders untouched, but you can also go all out with lights, flowers, and all the things and it will STILL be gorgeous. It is truly a versatile, lovely space. However, what sold us was the warmth that radiated from the entire staff. Natalie was our "go to" and she is simply the best. That's it. The best! She understood us as people and helped us craft the BEST wedding menu we've ever had. Not only does Catering Creations make the best food, but their variety is unbeatable. We had so much of "us" in that meal, from the sweet tea and mac and cheese to the gourmet sliders to the late night snack of tator tot nachos. Catering Creations can deliver the most upscale meal of any wedding and also deliver all the comfort foods with so much class and elevation. Try and find something they make that you don't LOVE! There really aren't enough good things to say about this place other than BOOK IT. You will NOT be disappointed. Thank you, Founders!

Beautiful venue and food was amazing! Our guests couldn't quit talking about what a wonderful venue. It has a place for cocktails and an outdoor green space perfect for smokers or those who want to go outside. The inside is raw brick with big warehouse doors. There is a big garage door that is glass that can opened to make the indoor space and outdoor space one. The building is handicap accessible which we needed for my mom. The bridal party had a room to unload their things and relax in which was very nice. The evening ran smoothly apart from a few things. The reason I give it a 4 star not a 5 is for two reasons. We were convinced to have the bride and groom cut the cake right away so the cake would be available to guests after dinner. It was being cut and put out late after toasts instead of being available after dinner. Second, the head bartender refused to serve the bride and groom. She wanted to see their ID's and she was rude about it. Luckily I had hired a wedding planner, Vernetta Kosalko, and she handled it. Obviously this should be handled ahead of time for a formal event space. After talking to the venue Monday, they explained they had a big meeting about ID's before our wedding. Unfortunately for us the head bartender was extremely vigilant to the point of being rude. The venue told me they will find a better way to handle ID's. These were mainly the only things that went south -so that's not too bad! Overall the guests didn't know anything and they are still talking about what a great space and about the food especially! If you want beyond awesome food ( which is top notch) to serve your guests and an awesome space this is your place!

We had our wedding reception at Founders One Nine and it was a great experience! Natalie was so helpful as she walked us through preparations before the big day and Tevin was so wonderful helping out the day of. They thought of everything. The food through in-house Catering Creations was amazing as well. We received great feedback from guests about the food. Overall, Founders made the experience easy to navigate which we couldn't appreciate more. I highly recommend this beautiful urban space.

My daughters reception was held at Founders One Nine. We worked with Natalie & Tevin. It was a great experience from the time we booked the reception all the way to the evening of. The food was fabulous.

I had my wedding reception at Founders One Nine and it was an absolutely fabulous experience. Natalie Storey did a wonderful job answering my numerous questions via email in a timely manner. I had 335 guests and I was nervous the space would feel cramped. It was perfect! We had plenty of room for our dance floor, plus two buffet lines, a kids buffet, a photo booth, and two big tables of cupcakes for our guests. The food was also excellent. I had numerous guests tell me it was the best food they ever had at a wedding! I cannot say enough good things about Founders. I hope to use the venue again in the future for a work event.

Natalie, our event coordinator, made my life so easy when planning the wedding. The food, oh my god the food was amazing and our guests raved about the space. We could not have picked a better place than Founders One Nine to have our reception. The option of having an outdoor and indoor space was absolutely perfect!

Beautiful new venue near downtown Omaha. We used the outdoor space for a small ceremony, which was gorgeous. The staff was always willing to adjust to our changes and worked with us for a personalized menu and a signature drink. I was a little surprised by all the extra fees that weren't negotiable and the types of items that weren't included in the rental/catering fee. Although, it didn't take away from the beautiful, perfect day.

As a wedding planner, I was blown away how Natalie and I saw eye to eye on everything. She's the bee's knees! Food...Atmosphere...Service, they've got it all. Highly, highly recommend Founders ONE NINE

I would like to say that Natalie was very helpful and upfront about amenities of the venue however, I think that they need to change there price on the knot from moderately priced to expensive. I got a quote and it was a 10k minimum for a Sat wedding JUST for food and beverages and for a holiday the minimum for food and beverages was 20,000. I would not say that is moderately priced for omaha Ne
