Jake created the perfect ceremony for us! It was the perfect length (not too short, but not too long) and felt incredibly personal and meaningful. He included personal stories about us, along with a special part where we each wrote down three things we loved about the other. Hearing those for the first time during the ceremony was such a thoughtful and unique touch that we haven’t seen at other weddings. Our ceremony also happened to take place in the rain and extremely strong winds. Our champagne wall even blew over! Jake handled it all without missing a beat. He had no trouble projecting over the wind, keeping his papers from flying away, and continuing on as if everything was completely normal. His public speaking skills are amazing, and you can genuinely tell how much he enjoys what he does. Jake also led our rehearsal and did a fantastic job directing everyone, keeping things organized, and making sure everything moved smoothly. He was so great that our venue coordinator was happy to let him take the lead. A couple of months before the wedding, Jake met with us to get to know us better and thoroughly go over the ceremony with us. You could tell how much thought and care he put into making it personal to us. In fact, a couple sitting at a table across from us even commented on how great Jake was just from overhearing our conversation! I take your feedback with my experience and wisdom and combine them into a one-of-a-kind ceremony! My Story It all started as a favor for a friend. I played college baseball in Denver and after college I had a close friend and teammate who wanted me to marry him and his wife in a small outdoor ceremony in California. Through weeks of preparation and practice, the wedding went off without a hitch and they are still married to this day. Fast forward to today, I continue to perform weddings for religious and non-religious couples alike. I love seeing two people come together as one and want to make your ceremony as stress-free and painless as possible! He services a variety of wedding events such as non-religious occasions, vow renewal ceremonies, interfaith events, and more. In addition to pre-marital counseling sessions, he is willing to assist with the writing of your wedding vows if you so desire. My name is Jake Schuchardt and I am the owner/operator of Four Corners Weddings. It all started as a favor for a friend. I played college baseball in Denver and after college I had a close friend and teammate who wanted me to marry him and his wife in a small outdoor ceremony in California. I was working as a pastor and baseball and softball coach, but had never performed a wedding. Through weeks of preparation and practice, the wedding went off without a hitch and they are still married to this day. Fast forward to today, I have officiated dozens of weddings and would love to officiate yours!

He was a pro at the rehearsal ceremony and was able to walk every person through what they should be doing at what time. He worked great with our day of coordinator and DJ the day of. He showed up early to the wedding to check in with Lucas and I and see if he needed help with anything. The ceremony made our grandfather cry (which is very rare). It was exactly what we wanted with the right about of religious touches. Many people thought we knew him beforehand because of how he spoke of us and everyone talked about how beautiful the ceremony was all night.
