My HS Cross Country program locked in a great rate for our stay in Peoria prior to our competition.
Nate was awesome with his assistance during the booking and the hotel was accommodating during the stay.

days!). As someone who has been a manager before I would be so happy to have Candi & Taylor as leaders on my team.
There are some beautiful views of the city skyline and river from the hotel due to it’s location. My room was clean and had new furnishings. I’ve eaten at the restaurant several times and it seems travelers & locals come to the restaurant even if staying elsewhere. The restaurant team was also great.

Long Post:
Upon my arrival, I was warmly greeted by a gentleman named Century, who provided great assistance and explained everything thoroughly before showing us to our room. A great asset to this company. I would rate his service a solid 5 s...
tars. However, the room itself was quite uncomfortable due to the cold temperature. The air conditioning seemed to operate erratically, and the heating was ineffective. After voicing my concerns to the front desk, another gentleman Matthew (5 star) came to apologize and tried to explain the situation, but it didn’t quite clarify things for me. He offered extra blankets, hoping they would help warm us up. Unfortunately, we remained cold throughout the night, except for my pregnant daughter who was ok being cold.
The next morning, I spoke with (4 star) Candace at the front desk—I hope that's her name—who was very apologetic. She kindly offered us a warmer room as compensation for our uncomfortable night. Furthermore, she arranged for my daughter to stay in the new room directly across the hall. I appreciated Candace's thoughtfulness and expressed my gratitude for her consideration. I'm giving her a 4 star because she told Bria something different that she told me. At least that what Bria said.
Later, as I prepared to leave for my aunt’s funeral, the morning staff entered my daughter’s room, 311, to clean. I informed them that Candace had permitted us to keep it. While I was getting dressed, I received a call indicating they were unaware of this arrangement. I went downstairs to clarify the situation and encountered a very (pleasant) sarcastic staff member, but the housekeeper seemed to intrude on our conversation, while Ms. Bria, who was technically my point of contact, maintained a dismissive and sarcastic demeanor.
I explained my predicament and the funeral I needed to attend by 10, but the housekeeper continued to interrupt. Although I aimed to directly address Ms. Bria, she appeared to defer to the housekeeper for direction. This led to a delay that ultimately caused us to miss breakfast and left us rushed for the funeral. I hope improvements can be made in how staff communicate and resolve guest concerns in the future. Plus Bri and the housekeeper could be more polite.
*Also turning on the water in 311 it came out brown. The ring around the tub was very rusty.

The most worse experience I've ever had and then when they said I'd get my money back for the stay, I've been fighting them for my money back for nearly a month now. Rooms had no hot water, the second room was dirty wasn't even up to par. And t...
hen you have to have about 3-5 cases for trying to get your refund back that you've been emailed and promised to get by the general manager. Totally a scamming place. Who knew trying to stay somewhere nice would turn into living hell and fight for your money back.
