I am so so happy that we booked the Four Seasons for our wedding. I can’t imagine having done our event anywhere else. Nicole and the entire team were an absolute dream. They were ...
incredibly accommodating and so easy to work with.
The tasting with Nicole was so fun and all of the wedding food was delicious. Nicole was happy to work with us on our package, swapping a cocktail hour food station for passable light night food (which was a huge hit!). Several people also told us that it was the best cake they’d ever had a wedding.
For decor, we ended up using their tables, chairs, glasses, napkins, and flatware, which were all just as lovely as if we had rented. They let our other vendors come in on Friday to hang the draping / rig the lights, etc. We didn’t do a ton of decor outside of the ballroom, but the whole space for ceremony / cocktail hour looked phenomenal. Nicole and the staff were so thoughtful about the set up.
Finally, it’s obviously the Four Seasons, so the hospitality was impeccable. Every member of the staff was so incredibly kind to us and our guests and really went above and beyond to make everything perfect. When it came to our actual wedding, there were so many things big and small from Nicole / the hotel that made us feel so special and celebrated. We will never forget their hospitality. Picking the Four Seasons was the second best decision we made for our wedding, behind hiring our planner. (We worked with Caroline Dutton Events, who has done many weddings at the Four Seasons and made the planning process seamless.)
We were so fortunate to have the most incredible wedding day team at the Four Seasons Washington DC for our wedding on 10/30/21! Nicole was amazing throughout our wedding planning ...
process and ensured every detail would be perfect for our wedding weekend. We were so lucky that the weather cooperated and were able to have our cocktail hour outside in the courtyard. It was the most beautiful space and had the perfect ambiance to kick off our wedding reception. Our friends and family are still talking about how wonderful the staff and hospitality was from our cocktail hour until the end of our wedding after party. The food was beyond DELICOUS and the amount of detail Chef and the entire team put into ensuring everything they served was unique to us was such a special touch. Rachid was also top-notch on our wedding day and made sure my now husband and I were taken care of throughout the entire evening! The hotel rooms were beautiful and extremely spacious – we would live there forever if we could! Nicole even upgraded our bridal suite room for the wedding day and made getting ready on the wedding morning so comfortable and luxurious for my large wedding party! We cannot recommend the Four Seasons Washington DC enough – thank you to the Four Seasons team for making our wedding day unforgettable and an absolutely wonderful stay throughout our long wedding weekend.
We can't say enough wonderful things about our experience at the Four Seasons Washington. Nicole and Sara were amazing to work with through challenges of rescheduling, and a long p...
lanning process. One thing you can't forget about the Four Seasons is their amazing service, and attentiveness to detail. Every detail from our tasting and walkthrough was amazing, and our guests raved about how amazing the hotel was. The bridal suite was amazing, and I loved being able to watch our guests come into the Courtyard for our wedding and the whole getting ready experience was amazing. Our reception was amazing, and we had someone who was responsible for making sure we were ok, Cheryl, and she was absolutely lovely. The food was AMAZING-- my dad said it was the best steak of his life. Additionally, they were super willing to personalize our menu, including making my grandmother's flan, a replica of a salad we always eat, and they were very attentive to our family's dietary restrictions.
The space is dreamy- from the courtyard for our ceremony, to the Seasons room- a ballroom with window and a little outside space, which is great in Covid times. We got a ton of compliments about the beautiful space and natural beauty of the property.
I have 0 regrets about having our wedding at the Four Seasons Washington, the day was everything I dreamed of and more. I really would love to get married again there, just because it was so lovely. We will be back to celebrate our anniversaries there, and are so pleased with how everything went, thanks to their amazing team.
While a lovely venue, we worked with no less than four event coordinators at the hotel (Sarah went on maternity leave; her "replacement" we met (Emily, I think) disappeared and was...
never heard from again; Luis floated in and out of planning; and we were finally given Katie).
The positives of being at the Four Seasons were 1) beautiful skylight-filled Conservatory room where we had our ceremony and part of our reception; 2) Decent room rate (for staying at a hotel like the Four Seasons) for us and our guests ($295/night vs. normal $600-800/night); 3) the banquet staff attending to us in our "holding room" 4) West Holbrook who managed our room block 4) banquet staff and the real "workers" of the hotel who made some magic happen with the set up 5) nice post-wedding touches to room (roses on bed, etc) done by housekeeping staff
The process of working with the Four Seasons was unreasonably stressful for me and my mom (professional event planner) --- not something we expected from a hotel that consistently refers to its impeccable service. We could not have developed a more detailed, comprehensive run of show and banquet orders for the staff --- which we reviewed extensively with Katie. Little of that information, it seems, was actually retained or communicated to the staff unfortunately and the day-of required a lot of hand holding from our personal coordinator.
All said and done, we spent a lot of money with this hotel, and had to work far too hard to make our vision come to life. Unfortunately the Four Seasons was not that trusted of a partner in this process.
The most amazing hotel with the best service. Everything was top notch and the staff went above and beyond. All our guests loved it and were impressed by the hotel.
Caity and the FS Events Team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. The experience was better than we initially hoped for with an all-inclusive venue.
We visited just abou...
t EVERY reception venue in the DMV area (our ceremony was at a church in Potomac). This includes outdoor spaces and manors, the various top hotels in the district, and a couple of gardens, country clubs, music halls and museums.
We chose Four Seasons because they had the options of an outdoor area for the cocktail hour, and a ballroom that had plenty of windows connecting to another outdoor space for a cigar bar and dessert station, to provide the best of both worlds. Just as importantly, while they do offer great looking wedding packages, everything is fully customizable.
Caity and team were receptive to our ideas while adding helpful suggestions. They were communicative and accessible throughout planning, which was invaluable since we had to do most of it via email due to our work and travel schedules.
The day of the wedding was beautiful. Our guests have expressed how they loved the garden-like cocktail hour. There was no shortage of bartenders or hors d'oeuvres and the space has both sunny and shady spots to suit everyone.
Caity greeted us when we arrived post-ceremony and pictures and showed us to our suite where a selection of everything being served during cocktail hour was set up for us on our own little table, allowing for a really special moment for us to be alone and enjoy the beginning of our life together with a great spread to see us through the night.
I trusted the Seasons enough that I opted to not check the ballroom beforehand. The tables and space looked lovely, and service throughout the evening was excellent. For reference, we had two carving stations (fish and beef) and a buffet station with an additional protein (chicken) and sides. It was of course open bar, and there were desserts brought to the tables as well as a s'more making station outside. Late night bites were provided as people danced the night away. There didn't seem to be backup/long waits at any of these for a party of about 130.
Presentation of the food, while not plated, was still pretty as well as delicious. The same can be said of the desserts and lay out of the cigar space, as well as placement of the "extras" and little decorations we had delivered the day before.
You will have the highest staff to guest ratio, and all of them are amazing and show pride in what they do as they take care of everyone.
Caity checked with us and my mom a couple of times to ensure everything was going smoothly. Later in the evening, she was even there to help assist a little in the bustling of my dress!.
Don't be worried about using their in-house baker: they did a custom two-flavor cake for us that many said was the best they've had. It wasn't super fancy on the outside but it ended up being perfect. Their linens and table settings are also nice enough to not require upgrading or rentals. We did get an upgrade to chiavari chairs.
At the end of the evening, we returned to a romantic suite where our first dance song was playing, and a super-cute "picnic" was laid out for us with more champagne. We found it so thoughtful and loved it as the perfect end to our wedding day.
Overall, we highly recommend Four Seasons Washington to anyone looking for a stress-free yet awesome venue for their big wedding day! Thank you, Caity and FS Events Team!

The Four Seasons recently hosted our February 27, 2016 wedding. This venue exceeded our expectations and delivered nothing short of an extraordinary experience that we and our fami...
lies will remember for the rest of our lives.
Their attention to detail is impeccable. The hotel provided a level of service and professionalism that could only be described as other-worldly and may as well be the pinnacle of perfection.
From the start, Director of Events Sales & Group Event Services Joseph Richter and his colleague Nicole Rachek not only made our wedding memorable, but went above and beyond in every possible way to ensure that our event was spectacular and flawless.
We enjoyed Friday and Saturday night in the epic Royal Suite, which was a phenomenal experience in itself. When we arrived at our suite on Friday afternoon Joe had a special congratulatory cake on display in one of the two living rooms for us -- such a sweet and charming surprise! The day of the wedding we were presented flutes and champagne -- a very appreciated and welcomed surprise while we were getting ready for our big day!
Almost 2 weeks later and our guests are still buzzing about how our reception was by far the best wedding reception they had ever attended. This is absolutely wonderful since we wanted nothing more than our guests to have the time of their lives and the Four Seasons exceeded that expectation and so much more.
After our evening concluded, my husband and I were met with an amazing surprise waiting for us in the Royal Suite. It was completely unexpected and really put the finishing touch on what had been an event that every bride dreams of.
A huge thank you to the Four Seasons staff, Joe and Nicole for giving us a once in a lifetime experience!
Echoing what others have said, we having nothing but glowing remarks about the Four Seasons in Georgetown Washington D.C. We had a perfect wedding weekend! This included our rooms,...
the overall hotel service, rehearsal dinner at Bourbon Steakhouse and of course the actual wedding. The Four Seasons definitely goes to the top of the list for quality service and luxury experience.
We worked with Sara Rosen as our point of contact. She and the entire Four Seasons staff were simply amazing! From our first meeting it was clear to see that we were in good hands with Sara. She was able to accommodate every request and took a lot of anxiety out of our planning process. She was really helpful with recommending vendors and with suggestions for the ceremony and reception.
It’s true that you have to pay for quality, so as long as you don’t mind the price, you are in for an exceptional experience that will leave your guests with memories to last a lifetime. We had a smaller more intimate wedding and were able to focus a lot on the small details. The ceremony was in the Conservatory which has a gorgeous skylight above where we stood. The room was small enough for us to have a quartet without amplification. There was a one-hour cocktail hour held in the Foyer, during which time there were five types of hors d’oeuvres served and a tapas station with seven varieties of dishes. We held our dinner / reception in the Dumbarton room which was the perfect size for us even with a small dance floor, DJ and bar. Once dancing started we had the doors opened to adjoining Conservatory where guests could hang out at cocktail tables or use the photo booth.
Everything went perfectly and we are still receiving compliments from our guests on how beautiful and wonderful everything was. A giant thank you to the Four Seasons staff! We highly recommend them for your wedding.

We especially want to thank Tina Nader and Sara Rosen! Tina's enthusiasm and gentle manner from the beginning helped us to choose the Four Seasons as our wedding venue. Tina and Sara were always ready with suggestions, whatever we asked they would respond, but never were insistent on the way they felt things should be or critical of any of our wishes.
We felt that, despite the fact that Four Seasons events can range all the way up to the very lavish, with Tina and Sara' help we were able to create an amazing, simple, elegant event that was within our budget and exactly what we wanted.
The spaces are beautiful and the food was magnificent. We have had so many compliments on how delicious it all was and how wonderfully everything flowed throughout the evening.

el. They took care of everything for us. The food and drink were amazing. People kept telling us that they had never had such delicious food at a wedding. The only thing I was a little disappointed with was that there was no special attention given to the bride and groom by the wait staff. My husband didn't even get to try the hors d'oeurves because the waiters constantly had no food. Overall, though, we had a five star experience!

We simply cannot imagine our wedding anywhere else. From the big things--catering, set-up, etc.--to the little things--special gifts in our room, welcoming our guests with ease, etc.--everything was perfect. Our friends and family had a terrific time and we're still hearing compliments about the delicious food.
Choosing Four Seasons Hotel will be one of the best decisions you make for your wedding. The hotel and their entire staff in Georgetown is 5 stars+.
My wedding was the wedding of my dreams...and more. After searching for months for a venue that met all our specifications, we discovered the Four Seasons. It was the most elegant ...
affair, a convenient location for our out-of-town guests, and reliable. Everybody commented that I was the most stress-free bride. I did not have to think...the hotel took care of everything and I just enjoyed!
For budget conscious brides: we initially did not look in DC because we thought the city would be too pricey. In the end, we actually saved money at the Four Seasons (no, this is not an oxymoron). Go figure that the better quality hotel will give you better quality on everything...and not nickle and dime you! My biggest pet peeve of the many hotels I looked at was the linens did not hit the floor and were only offered in white. You needed to rent if you wanted anything else. The standard linen at the Four Seasons was a floor-length gold that matched my color scheme perfectly!
