What a fabulous band! Everyone loved the 2nd line and had a great time dancing.
Dave and company were phenomenal.
Really easy to work with-
I even threw custom music their way which they had down cold for the wedding. They led a parade through the park and kep...
t the party literally moving. Everybody in the band got involved, from the singing along they provided as well as the trumpet player knowing how to help extend songs that we wanted to keep going. Everybody came up to us to tell us how amazing the band was. There is no better way to get people to dance than having a full second line brass band on their feet to get even the stubborn guests rocking.
So easy to coordinate things with Dave and he's very laid back. Beyond affordable, easily outclasses other brass bands I checked out charging five times as much.
Four Star was the toast of the party, I think people forgot we were celebrating a wedding and thought they were there to go check out this band. SO GOOD! Thanks fellas, hope to hear you again soon. Truly awesome.
They give you up to five stars to rate a vendor, but to be honest, in this scenario, Four Star is the best.
We had a New Orleans themed wedding in Chicago and our first call was to Four Star and it was a great decision. Dave was a pleasure to work with and the band was able to play a cou...
ple songs we requested and learned them for our special day. The guests at our wedding loved the brass music during the precessional, ceremony, cocktail hour and finally, the 2nd Line they executed into our reception hall. Top notch all the way and very accommodating. Recommend them highly.
My husband and I used to live in New Orleans and wanted to incorporate that into our wedding with a brass band. We listened to one million Soundcloud recordings, and eventually fou...
nd the guys at Four Star.
Their recorded stuff was really high quality, and the videos of their live stuff were really polished, so we set up a meeting and chatted a bit about what we were looking for. I also stopped by Frontier to watch them play during a Saints game, and they were AWESOME, so we booked them IMMEDIATELY.
Can I just say they were such a wonderful part of our wedding day - they brought an amazing energy and were such a really nice group of guys. Truly cannot say enough nice things about them - they brought the house down. :)
These guys were amazing for our New Orleans style processional (aka 2nd Line) from our ceremony venue to the reception venue...in the rain no less! Can't say enough about how energ...
etic, easy to work with, and fun they were. All of our guests commended the fun time they brought to a normally mundane activity (i.e. walking). Great group!
My husband and I had these guys play during the cocktail hour at our wedding last fall. They absolutely got the party started and were worth every penny. Many of our guests told us...
it was their favorite part of the wedding. Awesome, NOLA style jazz band. Love them and would highly recommend!
My husband and I decided to have a New Orleans style brunch in Chicago. After selecting the venue, we asked their planner if they had a brass band to suggest. She gave us the cont...
act information for Dave with Four Star Brass Band and she was right on the mark! We watched them play a few times at local bars and knew they were our band. They were professional, affordable, fun and extremely talented! Their non-traditional version of "Here Comes the Bride" got everyone moving! We lucked out finding them! I can't recommend them enough!
