My husband and I were referred to Ryan by a friend of my mom, and I am so grateful for it! He is very friendly, professional, and great at what he does. He took our preferences and requests into consideration, and kept the dance floor going all night long. Everything went smoothly, and everyone had a fantastic time! We also saw him at another wedding we attended, and had a great time there as well! I would highly recommend him as a dj for any event. Was not satisfied at all with Dj experience all my guests can talk about to this day is dj not good it was truly hard to understand him when making announcements we were given a full worksheet of what music we needed played and they got that wrong the main guy Ryan who we spoke with the whole time up until our wedding then when we meet the week before he let us know that his son who was not at the meet was doing ceremony music which he messes up and we would have another Dj part of the wedding portion called djs unlimited and he was not good at all a sweet person but his dj and Mc was not well at all either only songs that was played were some that was off of a list they made us write do not only did I have to try and research music and artist when I did it was not good this was to be the most memorable time of our lives and all I can think about is every one coming up to me coming about dj not being able to understand and not moving music up like suggested according to his homework worksheet I really didn't and still don't see the purpose of this worksheet As I read all the reviews they mention Dj Ryan I fi as though if he is not going to be the dj he should have gave us ample amount of time to get to know the other I honestly think as long as they got there monies they could careless. I also believe it was a cultural mishap rhythm was all off when it came to music. I spoke with Ryan numerous times he guaranteed us he had plenty of music and knew what he was doing and he didn't even DJ our wedding
If he knew he was going to send another dj he should have made an effort to make sure he was prepared. The two week prior meet is definitely not enough time to ensure that we would have been fine. Ryan talked a good game but he failed as a vendor.
This was a great choice for anyone wanting a fun wedding! There was no stress, many requests and just a real sense of knowledge from someone that helped get me a little more organized! I was asked detailed questions and only had to say what I wanted in order for everything to go as smoothly as it did! Thank you again guys!
Loved Ryan! Definitely my guest had tons of fun gave him a general guideline of music and we loved what he chose for us! I was on the dance floor all night with my friends and family!
Guys, I cannot recommend Ryan and Four Star DJ enough!!! Ryan kept the dance floor completely full the entire night. At one point my coordinator grabbed me to step back and just look at our guests and not a single person was in their seat, they were ALL on the dance floor thanks to our awesome DJ!!!
What can I say about Ryan, other than this is the SECOND time my family has hired him to DJ a wedding. I first worked with him in 2015 for my sister's wedding and we had some unusual Scottish traditions that we needed incorporated into the standard wedding line-up. He was 100% able to accommodate any requests and all songs are on the table... if it's a real song, he can find it. This time around for my own wedding, I didn't even contact any other vendors because I knew that Ryan and his company were the PERFECT fit. I needed a TV for a recorded best man speech since ours was deployed overseas with the military and he made it happen. He can read a room and play exactly what your party needs in the moment. He is fast to communicate and always available for a last minute phone call. You won't be disappointed with Four Star Entertainment I PROMISE!
Ryan was amazing and I don't know what we would have done if we hadn't found him! We had less than a month to find a DJ and Ryan made time to meet with us, understand what we needed from him, and made us feel at ease with his experience and work sheets to make the communication on song-selections easy. The day of, they provided MC and DJ for our Ceremony and Reception, and the cherry on top was he had experience with our venue so the entire evening went smooth. He took requests from guests and I'm so grateful for the experience with Four Star DJ. My memories of the wedding are of my husband and I dancing with our family and friends and having the BEST wedding we could've imagined. We had an outdoor wedding and the weather was in the 40's that evening- but we didn't even notice how cold it was with how much we were dancing. I highly recommend Four Star for weddings and any large events. Ryan was the most professional, reliable DJ we met with (we met with several) and we can't thank him enough for the awesome memories.
Ryan was great to work with for my daughter's wedding. We were in a particularly small venue, so we had tables very close to the DJ setup. I had reached out to Ryan prior to the event to express my concern that the music be at appropriate levels during the dinner - and it was fantastic. We requested certain artists, and he hit up all of our favorites. He had a great personality to keep the wedding on track and fun. Good announcements, worked great with our wedding coordinator, and a very professional vendor. Would hire him again for any event needing some music!
The music at our wedding was great and we had a wonderful time with AC as our DJ and MC for the night. The price for their services were great and AC himself was communicative and thoughtful. He ran the show well and had nice energy. We did struggle to schedule meetings with the business side of things and the response time took several weeks, but once we could organize our meetings to go over logistics, things went very well and I could tell AC was invested in our wedding. The only hiccup we experienced was our last name was not pronounced correctly (which isn’t that difficult for our last name) and which we sounded out and provided the correct pronunciation at our meetings. That was rather frustrating and when confronted about the matter, the DJ was pretty defensive. Besides that, this service was wonderful and the sound systems worked well. I recommend this DJ service to most people, but mainly people with easy to pronounce names.
I've never been to a wedding where the dance floor was so full the whole time. Ryan was AWESOME working with us before, during, and after the event. He is so kind and genuine and went above and beyond for our day. Big shout out to him for moving his equipment to the stage in between the 2nd ceremony and reception! And also working with my husband in choosing Bollywood songs to play. He also surprised us by having all our guests stand in a circle around us and sing "Don't Stop Believing" at the end of the night. We received so many compliments on how good the DJ was from all different age groups. Would recommend!
Four Star Entertainment was worth every penny. He provided worksheets for us to plan every detail of the wedding ceremony and reception. Ryan and his team showed up on time the day of the event and jumped into action setting up the DJ and photo booth. He acted as MC of the reception and was exceptional about coordinating last minute changes with the day-of coordinator. I would hire Four Star again in a heartbeat. Worth every penny. Thanks :)

I am so glad we chose Ryan with four star entertainment to DJ! Not only did he run the music for a beautiful ceremony, he kept everyone on schedule and on the dance floor at all times. He worked so well with my wedding coordinator and kept up a great flow throughout the night. I asked for a few different request and he quickly made them happen. He worked well with all our vendors. We had so many people compliment us on the music & DJ. He had a great selection of music and shuffled the genres great! We were glad to have a fellow LV alumni to be part of our day!

We received so many compliments on our DJ and the vibe he created for both our ceremony and reception. Ryan was great at communicating with me during the planning process as well as with my day of coordinator and vendor team. He was able to find all of the music we wanted for the ceremony and specific dances. We loved having him as a part of our vendor team!
Ryan was an amazing host for our 20th Anniversary
party! He took our very long playlist, with a last-minute first song substitution, and the dance floor was crowded all night.
Four Star Entertainment was an obvious choice from the get go and Ryan made it so easy! Our reception was so much fun and Ryan had everyone on the floor dancing all night! Ryan was a great choice for our big night and my husband and I would definitely recommend!

Ryan was great to work with! We finished our wedding pictures early, so he rearranged the order of parts of the reception so we could join the party and everything would run smoothly! We didn't have to worry about a thing at the reception. We talked to him on the phone prior to the wedding, and gave him a general idea of what we were looking for. Ryan really listened and ran with it to make a perfect music list for our cocktail hour/reception. He was great to work with and I would highly recommend using him!
Ryan is amazing! We are so happy we went with Four Star DJ, everything was perfect. Ryan was professional and fun throughout the whole process. On the night of the wedding he read the room perfectly and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. He worked seamlessly with our planner to make sure everything was on time and running smooth. We had so many positive comments from our guest. Highly recommend!!!!
Ryan was so friendly and easy to talk to. I could call him at anytime and he would chat with me about any questions I had. I even requested a Texas country cocktail hour playlist and he made it happen. He provided an awesome photobooth with fun props. Everything was so smooth and reasonably priced. He definitely kept the dance floor packed with his song choices which was really important to my husband and I because we both love to dance!
BEST DJ EVER!!!! We had the pleasure of having Antonio as our DJ. He went above and beyond! Our guests had the time of their lives and the dance floor was never empty. Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ! Hands down AMAZING! We received many compliments!
We hired Four Star DJ for our son’s wedding in October, 2018. George was our dj and he was fabulous! He arrived early to set up, played the ceremony music, the soft dinner music, ran our bride and groom game, then got the party started with his great personality. Everyone had such a great time and he made sure of it! I would recommend Four Star DJ to anyone with a special event coming up.
We had Ryan DJ our wedding ceremony/reception on October 13, 2018. He was absolutely wonderful to work with. Very organized and completely on top of everything. Beyond impressed when I went to meet with our wedding planner a week before the wedding only to find out that he had already visited the venue and met with them to go over the details for both our ceremony and reception. Peace of mind is priceless! My husband and I will definitely recommend Ryan to all our family and friends and will use him for future events. Ryan, we cannot thank you enough for being a part of our big day!
Our crowd was a tough one, and Ryan was up for the challenge. We had varying age ranges along with an indoor/outdoor reception which drew people away from the dance floor, but the music was managed great, and the dance floor was never empty. Ryan made my wife and I feel comfortable and made sure everything ran without a hitch. Great time management. He got our crowd dancing and everyone had a great time.
Great to work with, 10/10 would rehire for any event needed.

We are so pleased with Four Star as our choice in wedding DJ! So many of our guests complimented our music selections, but the best part is that we didn't choose specifics- we gave our DJ AC some genre preferences, and he ran with them, making choices that kept people dancing all night!
Four Star DJ did an amazing job at our January 27, 2018 wedding. From my first conversation with Ryan, the owner, I knew he was passionate and cared about his job! He came highly recommended by my wedding Coordinator Mitzi Villalobos, from Bride on a Budget Events. I filled out the questionnaire from Ryan, and right away he knew that Antonio would be the best DJ for our wedding. Antonio did such a great job keeping the dance floor full and reading the room. My conversation with Antonio the week of my wedding was that I wanted people to dance and he had full discretion of music. We had mostly older Hispanic family and everyone from my parents to our youngest cousins were dancing all night. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ!!!!!
Four Star DJ Entertainment was fantastic! He made our day even more memorable than it already was. He even helped us out with the ceremony music and cocktail hour music at last minute, which was a huge surprise! He goes above and beyond to make our day about us. Ryan was the DJ at my wedding a few weeks ago, and he did a superb job! From our first meeting over the summer, to the week before the wedding, he was always available to communicate and provide recommendations as requested. He played everything I wanted during the ceremony, as well as the reception. We had a small wedding, and it was outdoors (40 degrees), but he still managed to get pretty much everyone out on the dance floor! Ryan really made my day special, and I would recommend anyone to hire him and/or his colleagues at Four Star Entertainment!!
DJ Ryan was awesome !!! He really took the time to go Over homework with the music of our choice for every moment of our wedding . He was so professional and gave the perfect advice days before my wedding especially to keep my calm because as brides we tend to get into Bridezilla mode . Nothing to worry about here I got so many compliments on the music and I was completely satisfied !! I definitely recommend Four Star for all events
Ok so I'll start off by saying 3 days before my wedding day my DJ quit on me last minute!! I was going crazy had a panic attack, messaged about 5 Djs that I found on here and 3 of them responded. Ryan caught my attention because he immediately called me and asked what exactly I needed and explained everything very thoroughly, he then mentioned he had someone that was available for the wed day, antonio would be our DJ for the night and he would call me to see if I had any questions. Not only did we stay on the phone for 1 hour but he was so specific and helpful on everything!!! I even got to meet Ryan the day after because he wanted to make sure I had an adapter so antonio can play my slideshow during dinner so he lent me his! (WHICH WAS AWESOME OF HIM!) 3 days later , antonio gets there about 4 hours early sets up and PLAYS ALL THE MUSIC THAT I specifically wanted for my ceremony, & reception. I could not thank them both enough!! Everyone complimented my DJ for the music he played all night! Everyone said they had a blast! His pricing was great as well! Thank you so much you all did a fantastic job. I couldn't thank you enough!
We were so happy to find Four Star DJ for our wedding. They spent a long time on the phone with us to go over the contract and details before we even booked them, then met with us at the convenience of our schedule to talk in person about what we wanted for our wedding. The DJ was great, punctual, handled possible rainy weekend situation with aplomb and handled wedding hiccups like a mother that refused to dance and a piñata that refused to break with grace and flexibility. A job very well done!
We lost our DJ 3 weeks before our wedding and were lucky enough to find Ryan and Four Star DJ/Entertainment. Ryan was so accommodating and professional. He quickly worked to understand what we were looking for and made sure he knew exactly what we wanted for the reception an ceremony. The music was perfect for the entire evening and everyone had an amazing time!
Four Star DJ was awesome! AC was so helpful and did such a great job. He did a great job with the list that we gave and then "read" the crowd and played what our guests wanted to hear. The process was easy, we were given a form to fill out with our favorites and songs that we would like played at certain times. AC then contacted me and we went over the time line for the night, the rest was up to him!

Would give even more stars if I could. The only part of my wedding that i was in charge of is finding a D.J , I looked at about 10 other companies before deciding to pick Four Star. Ryan was so extremely helpful especially since I was still living in South Carolina when i originally contacted him. They worked with us throughout the whole process and made our wedding amazing. Thank you so much Alex for making our night even more special. Me and my family also thank you so much for your military service. If you need a great DJ and reasonable price four-star is who you should call....
We loved our DJ Ryan - everything from the first meeting in getting a feel for who we are to keeping our reception on pace and making quick, smart adjustments as the night went on. He took the time to speak to us on the phone when it was convenient to us and eased our minds in what we wanted to do. Couldn't be happier!
You will not be disappointed with DJ Ryan! He listened to exactly what we wanted and played music that got our guests out on the dance floor and kept them there. We were very specific about our desires and he listened to and documented each one! He was extremely thorough and a pleasure to work with over the phone and in person. The reception could not have gone smoother and he made a great Emcee. I highly recommend DJ Ryan to the discerning couple - we did not want anything gimmicky and Ryan was totally on board. He catered everything to our preferences and played awesome dance tunes. I've never seen so many people stay until the end of a wedding reception because they are enjoying dancing so much!

Our DJ was Four Star Entertainment from La Vernia. I was so glad that I found Fred at the Bridal Extravaganza. He was super nice and easy to talk to. He traveled from La Vernia all the way to Boerne for our wedding. Their packages are also very affordable. I submitted a list of songs I would like to be played at the wedding and Fred did exactly that. He was prompt and very professional. During the wedding, he checked on my husband and I to make sure everything was running smoothly. I highly recommend Fred and Four Star Entertainment.
We got married on July 2, 2016 and had a very large wedding. We knew that we would want a DJ who was knowledgeable and could really get the party going. Four Star DJ met and exceeded our needs! The up-lights in the reception hall were beautiful and really added a lot to the hall. The schedule that Ryan had us fill out was very thorough, which really helped us to stay on time throughout the night. The music fantastic, and Ryan really catered to the audience. All in all, Four Star DJ was great and everyone had a fantastic time!
I would just like to say Thank You Ryan for having AC be the DJ at our wedding! He was THE BEST!! At our wedding the kids did most of the dancing and he was wonderful! Anything that anyone requested he gladly played it and kept everyone going! He was so nice and everything was great! All the music for the ceramony was right on time and what I asked for! I will definitely be recommending them to anyone and everyone.
Ryan Schroeder-Four Star Entertainment was the DJ at my daughter’s wedding in March at Bella Springs. We had been on the fence about who to hire for the entertainment until we personally met and talked with Ryan at a wedding fair at the Cana Ballroom. All of our questions and fears were set aside and we knew right then that we had found our DJ. Ryan answered several emails promptly over the next several months and worked with us to setup the perfect flow for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner hour and dance. We even threw a surprise at him last minute, because several friends decided to hire a mariachi group to crash the wedding for the last hour before their sendoff. Ryan was so receptive and was happy to accommodate the change. He was on time, professional and a fantastic announcer. The Four Star team was awesome! Ryan and Alex we're professional throughout the entire process. They were engaged from the start and always responsive to my calls, texts and emails. The offered great suggestions and were accommodating to my requests. The dance floor was moving all night! Thanks for the great experience!
I was so disappointed with Ryan and his crew. He repeatedly lost me in his system. Lost payments, he even had the nerve to ask my dad at the wedding for the final payment! I made the payment 30 days prior but there I was at my wedding trying to find the receipt in my email. I am so glad I kept great records because he was always missing something. The icing on the cake was when I called to ask him if he could make a mix for my bridal party to do at the wedding. I asked him how long he needed and what it would cost. I provided him the songs and when it arrived almost two weeks late it was awful. He said he didn't think he could fix it in time but didn't charge me. As if that repairs the damage! When I was unhappy with not having a mix at THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY OF MY LIFE, he gave me attitude... Worst customer service. HUGE REGRET! Also I made it clear before booking that I wanted him to follow a strict playlist unless my guests made requests. No where near half of my playlist was played and I know my guests did not request half of that music. Apparently there is a clause in the contract that says he wont follow a playlist... I guess that's my fault for not reading the contract more thoroughly when I asked him upfront about the playlist. DO NOT USE HIM!

Best DJ around! My husband and I loved Ryan! Not only is he super cool and friendly, he does his best to make your day very special. While looking for DJs he had the most reasonable and affordable prices for his awesome services! I could not be more satisfied, if you are looking yourself I suggest Four Star Entertainment!
Ryan graciously offered to comp his DJ services for our 20th high school reunion and a whole decade of classes above and below us. Myself and our classmates were blown away at his lighting effects, the quality of the sound, his personalization in picking attendees favorite songs, and his voice is awesome as an entertainer! He's organized, kind, always professional, and treats others like he would want to be treated- putting customer service and satisfaction first, always. Can't recommend enough!
We got married October 5, 2015. Ryan was the best choice we could have made; we got nonstop compliments on how fun our wedding was! He catered to our unique song requests and was there to make song suggestions when we felt stuck. We're into all kinds of music and Ryan was really awesome at mixing it up ...we heard everything from the 50s to today's music at just the right time. His equipment sounded phenomenal, the whole place was jumpin!
We got married on May 2, 2015 and Ryan was amazing! We have such eclectic musical tastes that we gave him a huge list and told him to do what he did best-- and he did not disappoint! He worked with us on the obscure ceremony music we wanted, and even played us a special send off right before we went to the get away car. Absolutely the best!! We could not have been happier!
