When you requested additional edits outside the contracted scope, we still agreed to assist and kept you updated as those adjustments were being made. To describe that as “ghosting” is not only unfair, it is simply untrue. You followed up with us one time and we took care of everything as quickly as we possibly could! On family and group photos: it’s important to understand that wedding days are dynamic, fast-moving, and often chaotic — particularly with large bridal parties such as yours. You had a very large number of bridesmaids and groomsmen, which naturally creates challenges in organization. It is not the photographer’s role to control or corral uncooperative bridal party members or family; that responsibility rests with the couple and the planner. Our photographers are there to capture, not to police. Despite this, our team still worked diligently to photograph as many groupings as possible, including all of the requested combinations. To suggest there was “no planning or intention” is inaccurate — we follow a clear process and worked with what cooperation was available from your party. This is what happens when your timeline absolutely doesn't allow enough time for each part of the day. Massive wedding party (22 bridesmaids) and our team still managed the day beautifully. On the gallery: you received a full, diverse collection of hundreds of images. The claim that it “lacked variety” is inconsistent with what was delivered. Every gallery includes a mix of candids, details, family formals, portraits, and reception moments. To reduce that to “no variety” disregards the breadth of coverage provided. Your gallery has stunning portraits, lots of wedding party photos, all the family photos which were on the list, getting ready photos, church and reception photos - it doesn't have more because there was NO TIME to do anything else. On the film: your first look with your father was filmed. Unfortunately, audio interference from the lavalier microphone made the natural sound unusable — a rare but possible technical issue at live events. Our editors still incorporated the footage into your film so the memory was preserved, and they did so with skill and care. To characterize that as “slapped on” is a misrepresentation of the thoughtful work that went into it. On delivery timelines: your gallery was delivered within the 4-6 week timeframe outlined in your contract — exactly as promised. AND sneak peeks the week of! Finally, to state that “once they’ve been paid, you’re no longer a priority” is both false and insulting to the dedication our team showed throughout. Every wedding we take on receives our full energy and commitment — before, during, and after the event. Fox + Ivory has built its reputation on professionalism, artistry, and integrity. We stand by the work we delivered and the efforts our team made under challenging, chaotic circumstances. While no vendor can control every single variable of a wedding day, to mischaracterize our work and efforts in this way does a disservice not only to us, but to the many couples who know first-hand the level of care and excellence we provide.
