I can’t speak highly enough of our photographers – special shout out to Kelsy and Kirsten for being the absolute best on our wedding day! All of our wedding party complimented on how fun they were to work with! Our photos, both the engagement shoot and the wedding, all turned out amazing and we will cherish them for a lifetime. The photos were stunning, crisp, and truly captured our day exactly how we envisioned it. How we’re going to pick our favorites is going to be an impossible task! The entire process was seamless and we highly recommend working with Fox + Ivory if you’re looking for an A+ team of vendors!

We hired Fox + Ivory for the photo and video of our 3 day South Asian fusion wedding in Chicago in October 2024, and we cannot praise them enough. We worked with Jay, Zohair, Justin, and Manuela for our photos and Eli for our video, and each one of them was so passionate about their work and such a joy to be around. From our first call with Peter, we loved the team’s candidness, humor, and dedication to capturing our wedding’s details and the emotion it evoked. They worked with us to come up with a custom package for the three-day weekend long celebration. Throughout our planning process, the team checked in with us on timeline help, and we loved being able to get to know our photographers via engagement sessions. The team was so quick to address any questions or concerns and went absolutely above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and confident in working with them. On the wedding weekend, working with each member of this team brought a smile to our faces. They captured every small detail in lay flats, worked so caringly with our guests, and even transported me (the bride!) to our first look location in their car when we didn’t have anything organized. The team was timely, handling a quick turnaround from Saturday night to Sunday morning with grace, and they kept us smiling and laughing through our photos, even when we were getting ready at 6 am. We truly cannot recommend Fox + Ivory enough and would rate them higher than 5 stars if we could. We’ve received our sneak peek photos and cannot stop looking at them. This team is truly a dream team! If you are looking for high-quality shots that capture the essence of your wedding, and a team that makes your wedding day (or days!) easier, more fun, and joyful, this is your team.

I absolutely loved Fox & Ivory. We had Kelsy for our day of photographer. The poor girl had a tire BLOW out on wedding day, and did not miss a beat. The communication was all so professional, detailed and quick. I felt they are one of the more affordable photography companies in Chicagoland while having great work. We just send our thank you's with sneak peek photos and we're so eager to see the rest!! :)

We highly recommend Fox + Ivory! They will reach out to set up a phone call to understand your wedding day expectations. After booking, you can review the photographer portfolios to choose which photographer you would like to work with on your big day. Fox + Ivory team will help you create a 'day of' schedule, and will check in with you multiple times leading up to your date. We chose to work with Jennifer and she was AMAZING! She has a bright, fun, energetic personality. She immediately took charge upon arriving to our hotel to get all of the getting ready photos, details shots, etc. She told the wedding party how to pose, kept us on schedule, had many creative and artistic ideas, and was patient with family photos (IYKYK). I genuinely feel that our wedding day wouldn't have felt the same without Jennifer as our photographer. We appreciate all of her effort into making our day memorable and capturing our special moments! We received a 'sneak peek' photo gallery of 20-30 photos the weekend after our wedding, and the photos are gorgeous! We can't wait to see the rest of the gallery. Jay and Kirsten just absolutely nailed our photography for our wedding. We did our engagement shoot with Jay and then had both of them on our big day. They were easy to communicate with about all of our logistics, were fun and easy to be around, very professional, prompt in getting us back photos, and we love how the photos turned out. They recommended some places to take our wedding party photos around Chicago that we wouldn’t have thought of, and they were perfect places. They really know what they’re doing and you won’t regret working with them!

F&I was one of our favorite vendors from our wedding! They were incredibly communicative and professional. Nisa and her team were phenomenal, the pictures and video came out beautifully. Jay's customer service was top notch. Couldn't recommend enough!

Having Fox and Ivory for photo/video at our wedding was the best decision we could have made. From the very beginning, Jay made such an effort to get to know us as a couple and ensure we were comfortable in front of the camera. At the time of our engagement we were living out of state, he flew out to us to shoot our engagement photos without hesitation. Jay and his team were fantastic every step of the way. So easy to communicate with, they addressed any concerns we had and, of course, their work was absolutely beautiful. They managed to capture our wedding day without making us feel like we were at a photoshoot. We were able to enjoy our day completely. We really could not have asked for a better vendor!

My husband and I seriously could not have been happier with Fox + Ivory. From the first moment I contacted them, every single interaction with them was a 10 out of 10. Truly. They hit the ball so far out of the park on professionalism, talent, communication and value that I feel like they’re the blueprint for how every vendor should operate. Professionalism: Peter and Jay are the consummate pros. They know their stuff and give it to you straight, anticipate your needs—AND always make you feel special. I would imagine that doing this for a while, your interactions with clients can get a little “transactional.” But not with them. They never take the importance of their jobs for granted, and every interaction feels thoughtful, meaningful and personalized. Plus, they are laugh-out-loud funny and such a joy to work with! When I emailed Jay some questions I had, I appreciated that he immediately suggested we hop on a call instead of going back and forth electronically. And I felt so much better after I spoke with him in person. Talent: Well, the photos speak for themselves. So natural. So candid. So inspired. We absolutely ADORED our photographer, Violet. First of all, she is the friendliest, kindest person you will ever meet. She had such an easy way with us, and we instantly felt comfortable and confident in her hands. I swear, she could make us look good sitting in squalor, if she had to. But we loved our time with her on our actual wedding day and didn’t want her to leave! She blends in during the intimate moments, goes with the flow, has great ideas and captures all the best moments you want to see and share over and over. She really is so special and we can’t say enough great things about her. Communication. Peter and Jay tell you everything you need and nothing you don’t at the exact time you need it, while always looking forward to what’s next. None of their emails, advice or notes seem canned, but rather carefully curated and meaningful. You always know exactly where you are in the process. Value. My god, these guys are priceless. Honestly, I think they’re a steal for what you get because you can’t put a price tag on their level of professionalism, communication and talent combined. I cannot recommend them highly enough. And I know they will never become monsters from all my compliments (which they deserve!) because they’re just too nice of people. I'm a Forever Fan.

After looking for and meeting with many photographers, we decided to go with Violet from Fox and Ivory. During our engagement shoot, Violet made things very comfortable and fun which really helped solidify that we made the right choice for the wedding. We also had her shoot our rehearsal dinner and we are so glad we did, she walked around and captured so many amazing moments. For the wedding we hired both videography and photography and both teams were excellent at helping keep us(me) at ease and make it fun and comfortable to have cameras around. Our pictures are amazing and captured the memories even better than I could have hoped and the team we worked with really added to our big day! Jay was very communicative and helpful during the entire process which also helped make wedding planning easier. We highly recommend Fox and Ivory, especially Violet and her team!

After searching out many photographers, we found Fox + Ivory. We decided to go with Jay for our main shooter and had Justin as a secondary shooter. We could not be any happier with our decision. Jay was so much fun to work with and made photos smooth and kept us laughing to keep us from getting too tense. He did an amazing job trying to reign in other vendors to try and keep a timetable going. We had a sparkler exit planned and the sparklers were not working. Jay on the fly told all the guests to take out their phones and use the flashlights as "sparklers" and the shot came out amazing. We received our photos in a timely fashion, we got ALL of the photos instead of having to choose a select few, and at web size and print size, and they did not pressure us on any of the services. We've been looking through all of the pictures trying to pick ones for an album, but they are all so good it's hard to choose. We've already been recommending them to any of my friends who are getting married or thinking about it.

We cannot say enough great things about Fox and Ivory! Our photos and video take us back to our special day each time we look at them or watch it. The excitement the photographers and videographers had in our venue made it even more special; they were so inspired to try new things which resulted in great shots. Jeremy was fantastic for our engagement photos and on our wedding day. Jay and his team’s communication kept us at ease throughout the whole process. If you are looking for a photographer/ videographer, Fox and Ivory is the way to go.

Peter, Kelsey, and the rest of their team photographed and videoed our wedding and they were the best!! They were on time, very efficient, and open to fun photo poses! The whole team was so fun and they do such a good job of making everyone comfortable in front of the camera! They literally climbed into a tree to shake flower petals off to capture the most perfect, spring wedding picture. Our highlight video and coverage film is great quality and Jay was always timely in answering questions when we were planning. Can't recommend this company enough, I wish they could take every picture for me!
