Due to the pandemic, we rescheduled our wedding and communicating with Niki made the process smooth and worry-free. We felt extremely lucky to have had Peter & Jay as our photographers. Peter & Jay were incredibly personable, patient and skilled shooters. They were terrific at guiding, adjusting on the fly, making everything just flow well and very down to earth as if you were age-old friends. Our gallery was terrific and you absolutely cannot go wrong with Fox + Ivory for one of the most important aspects of a wedding.

We couldn’t have picked a better photography team for our day. The owner Jay was the one communicating with us before and after the wedding and he was so understanding, personable and ready to offer any help with vendor recommendations, timeline planning, questions, etc. The whole team knows weddings and it shows, but they are also overall great people and they will make sure that you get everything you could hope for and that the day goes as smoothly as possible. As for the pictures, they are simply incredible, candid, amazing quality, and we are so happy with the results!

did. Jay kept picture time flowing smoothly and on schedule, but not stressful and it all felt relaxed and comfortable! My husband hates pictures but both Jay and his assistant made pictures fun! It was clear they both paid great attention to detail and it showed in our final product! We absolutely love our final pictures and are struggling to narrow down pictures to order. During the ceremony and reception they blended in but still managed to get amazing pictures! I would recommend Fox + Ivory, especially Jay to family and friends! Thank you!!

ivory. Their team was perfectly nice but the quality of photos were so bad that everyone I show them to actually laughs out loud. I kid you not. There are photos where our faces are blurred, images are not in focus, there are crazy special effects. We asked for portraits on our wedding day and unfortunately there is not a single one of my husband and I looking straight at the camera and smiling. How sad. Instead we received about 1,000 “in action” photos that are not printable. What’s worse is we have reached out to them multiple times in the past month with no response. Do you really want to work with a vendor who doesn’t even acknowledge when you were unhappy with their service? I would have never left this public review if someone on their team cared to contact us back. I only hope we can save another couple from making the terrible decision that we made. Ignore the positive reviews unless you don’t care to have good photos and need a cost effective photographer. Even then, I suggest you save up the money to work with someone else. They are not worth it.

We had high expectations after seeing all their work, but they went above and beyond. The quality of their work and attention to detail really shows and the sum up our big day perfectly. As a designer with some photography experience, I knew that I wanted my wedding to have a photographer who really knew what they were doing and I am so happy to say this was the case. Now for our wonderful photographers, Nisa and Maddie. Words cannot express enough how thankful my husband and are for these two extremely kind and gifted women. From start to finish, they worked tirelessly to capture everything we wanted and were just so much fun! We received so many compliments about how diligent they both were at capturing not only our wedding party pre-wedding shoot but ceremony, dinner, reception, etc. it was truly a pleasure to work with them, they made our night even more special than we could have imagined!

Fox and Ivory was the best choice I could make. Niki was extremely helpful in answering all our questions throughout the entire booking and scheduling process. We needed to postpone our wedding due to Covid and she handled the process with kindness and grace. She made a difficult situation feel easy and stress free. We were lucky enough to work with Jay, Nisa, Peter, and Eli on our big day. What amazing people they are! They made everything feel special and meshed with our family and friends right off the bat. They worked behind the scenes to capture real time moments throughout the day. Each of them was professional but fun. I felt like we were able to capture a ton of amazing shots in a short amount of time which allowed us to enjoy time with our family and friends. They were extremely respectful during the church ceremony and were able to capture large extended family photos after the ceremony in what felt like no time. We have seen clips of out best mans speeches and the video quality has far exceeded our expectations. We’ve seen a few photos so far and again; they have surpassed anything I could have imagined. I cannot recommend them enough!

chose Nisa to be our photographer for both our wedding and our engagement shoot and we booked her as soon as we had a date picked out. The engagement shoot was a blast and her work is INCREDIBLE making us even more excited for our wedding day. We got married on Labor Day Weekend 2020 in the middle of COVID. Our wedding was not what we originally planned, and we have yet to get the final pictures back, but Nisa and Jay captured it beautifully. We truly cannot wait to see all of them! On top of their sheer talent, Nisa and Jay are so so fun to work with! We had a big crew with a lot of rambunctious men and they wrangled them in with ease! Even at the end of the night, he gathered everyone to get the sparkler exit together and to make it look coordinated. He was great! After meeting with him I didn’t want to go meet anyone else. And ladies.. if your groom is uncomfortable with the camera like mine was... he will pump him up and relax him. They will give you photos without insane amounts of editing. So you remember your day and not a made up photoshopped memory. And they don’t need to photoshop or heavy edit because they take amazing photos the first time! Don’t hesitate! They are not kidding when they say they are story tellers through photos.

We were given 3 available photographers to choose from. We loved Jason's shooting style, and we were able to see a full gallery of his before booking. Throughout the planning process, Fox + Ivory was great with answering all of my questions and staying in touch. I was positive we chose the right photographer based on our week-of phone call. Jason was easy to talk to and I was extremely relieved after we planned out the day. I had a few concerns about timing, and he let me know that there would be no problems--and there weren't. He also let me know that the second photographer would be Mike, one of their lead photographers, which was exciting. The day of, both Jason and Mike were right on time and ready to go. Not only were they great to work with, but we loved having them around throughout the day. They were patient with our (somewhat rowdy) bridal party, had creative ideas, and kept us on schedule. Plus, they were fun! My entire bridal party (especially the bridesmaids...) loved them. :) We received a preview on their blog about a week after our wedding and the entire gallery within a few weeks! We were expecting a few hundred pictures, but we received close to 1000! It was so fun scrolling through our gallery and reliving the day. They truly are storytellers. Ivory. We were entertaining 3 other photographers when we reached out to Fox+Ivory via their website and immediately received a response. The email was super informative and told us what we needed to know about them. They sent us 3 different photographers portfolios and let us decide which photographer we would like for our wedding. This was very cool because we felt like every one of them would do a great job. It was tough to decide, but we finally settled on Jason. When we emailed back and told them we wanted Jason for 10 hours it wasn’t even an hour later we had a custom quote with everything spelled out clearly. We paid our online deposit and signed our contract that night. It was so super easy. The thing that blew me away was a few days later we received a letter from Peter and Jay, the owners, thanking us for choosing them. IT was a handwritten, personal letter…Who does this?!? I have worked marketing for 5 years and the next day I approached our lead and told her about the letter because I thought it was so cool…now my firm is planning to do the same thing. It’s the personal touch and attentiveness that drove me to write a review. There are lots of photographers out there but Fox+Ivory has definitely set themselves head and shoulders above the rest. I am so excited that we found them when we did. We can’t wait to work with Jason on our wedding day. If you are needing to choose a photographer, I can tell you they make the process easy, you pick your photographer, they meet most budgets, and the personal touch sets them apart.

Our full wedding album was ready about 5 weeks after the wedding, and I loved all of the photos. The online album made it really easy to share, download, and buy photos. I would absolutely recommend Fox + Ivory for your big day!

h that out of the way let me tell you, I was so scared and very nervous about choosing the wrong photographer. I consider myself an artist and I love good photography. I really wanted to be able to cherish our special day forever and put large prints up on our walls. Trying to find a photographer that would catch all of the candid and intimate moments of our day without forcing us into cheesy poses was not as easy as I hoped. When trying to find our photographer I was scrolling through countless portfolios and kept seeing the same colorless, generic styles that I knew I didn’t want. We wanted fresh, candid, and genuine photos, that flowed more like a documentary than a studio session. I was getting frustrated. A friend of mine was a bridesmaid in a wedding where Fox+Ivory did the photos (and video, I think) and she told me they were great. She said they made the bridal party laugh and were so much fun on the day of the wedding. I asked her friend, the new bride, if I could see some of her photos and that was it! …I finally found them! From the get go I knew they were the right ones. I reached out and within 30 minutes they got back to me… These guys impressed me from the start! (Umm. If you are just starting your planning, you will find out soon enough that hearing back from someone right away is not to be taken lightly.) My first concern was that they were going to be way out of our budget. I could not have been happier to find out that their prices were easily in our budget. In fact, we actually upped the hours we thought we planned for and added their GIF photo booth. I love blogging…This review is going to be forever long so let me jump ahead. On the day of our wedding Jason and his assistant shooter arrived ahead of schedule and immediately got busy. Jason was such a calming influence and so super helpful throughout the day. My fiancé is not a fan of being in front of the camera but he actually told me later he would do it again as long as Jason is the photographer, lol. We did not do a single awkward photo; Jason gave us guidance but never ‘posed’ us. We even finished all of the photos in time to make some of the cocktail hour. I can’t tell you how many of the guests told me how impressed they were with the way the photographers were ‘everywhere’ and catching ‘everything’. It was such a wonderful day and Jason was a genuine pleasure to work with. The next day when checking my email there was a sweet email from Jason thanking us for trusting Fox+Ivory and he included a ‘sneak peek’ with 6 photos. I fought back tears…. They were beautiful. Simply beautiful. He captured our moments in such an amazing way. We received our gallery a month later and every photo that they delivered (684 of them) were wonderful. I am so happy that we decided to go with Fox+Ivory. If you are looking for the best of the best (and cheaper than many), look no further. Gia LB.

e's a super down to earth guy with a great energy - something that is important for someone who's going to be with you all through your wedding day. It also helps that he's an excellent storyteller with a gift for photography. Our wedding photos are so beautiful. I look at them weirdly often. We did an engagement shoot a few months before our wedding, which I would definitely recommend. Not only is it nice to have a set of professional pictures that are a little more casual than your wedding photos, but it really helps you prepare for how the wedding day will go. Doing a trial run before the wedding gives you a feel for the photographer’s style, and will help you know what to expect on the big day. We didn’t have a wedding planner and had no clue what we were doing, but Jay helped us figure out everything we needed to do to make the wedding day run smoothly. He ensured we made good time with our pre-wedding pictures, and even wrangled our families after the ceremony to get the portraits we wanted. We had him bring an assistant along too, which I’d also recommend. It’s a little more expensive, but your pictures really are not the area you want to skimp on for your wedding day. Plus all in all, Fox+Ivory is very affordable compared to many other wedding photographers. Having a 2nd shooter helped capture some amazing shots that might not have been possible otherwise (i.e. my sister wiping away tears as we said our vows!!). Jay followed up with us about a month after the wedding with a blog post and a sneak peek of a number of photos from our wedding. The full gallery was ready about 6-7 weeks after the wedding – which I believe is crazy fast in terms of wedding photos. They looked amazing to boot. The pictures were easily shared with family and friends, and downloadable without a password or encryption. This an underrated and awesome benefit of Fox+Ivory. Some photographers make it really hard to do this. All photographers have different styles, so when you’re picking one, make sure to look through their other work and see if you like it. We loved what we saw in Jay’s portfolio, and the finished product did not disappoint. HIGHLY recommend!!

I am a designer myself and have high standards for the creative direction, lighting, and composition when it comes to photos - and they hit it out of the park with every single shot. The photos he took for our wedding were above and beyond what we had hoped for and he was a joy to have as a part of our day. A few other important notes: Unlike some photographers who give you a finite number of images or put a bunch of red tape and rules around digital files, Jay and his collaborators don't impose needless restrictions and rules on anything, are flexible and easy to work with and provide a great value. Our Wedding Coordinator raved about them, and our Caterer raved about them. 100% solid all around. ng the planning process Jay was always there to answer any questions or give suggestions. On wedding day Jay was amazing. He knew which special photos I wanted to include, and was always game for impromptu photos I thought of. We had a good amount of BM and GM that he was able to get organized and set for many photos in a short amount of time. The best part was the morning after the wedding I woke up to a sweet email from Jay with a lovely note about the day and a few sneak peek photos that we LOVE! artistic way of taking photos to capture us at our best. Our engagement photos not only included my fiance and I but his two boys. Jay was amazing at making all of us feel comfortable and the pictures are ones we will always cherish. Jay made us feel comfortable from the moment we met him. After seeing his work and talking with him we knew who we was the guy for the job. At our wedding he had an amazing sense of calm. It was truly like our good friend was taking our photos. We felt a great connection with him and we had complete faith that he would tell our story better than we could imagine. After our wedding I sat down to try to begin a thank you to our amazing, talented, and hardworking photographer and he amazed me again by already having an email to me with our blog. Jay has an amazing gift and told our story in a beautiful way. I only have the previews, but am already in love with our photos and can't wait to see the rest. We are in awe of his work.
