pher was Sadie and we had Cassie as second shooter and Wyatt as videographer. We had such a great time with them and they ensured we had a great time while doing pictures. Our engagement pictures and wedding pictures also turned out amazing and are something we will truly cherish forever! Highly recommend Fox and Ivory for your picture and video needs!

camera, starting with our engagement photos. The whole team worked so smoothly together on our wedding day. They did a very good job of keeping everyone on schedule, following the photo guidelines of our church, and managing the large group photos and wedding party. Some of our favorite photos are the candid ones that they captured throughout the day! We love how all the photos and videos turned out and are so happy to have these memories captured for years to come!

n the price range we wanted to spend. A week before our wedding, we learned via email that our lead photographer had to have emergency surgery and the second photographer (Zohair) would become our lead. Zohair did an excellent job capturing moments, providing direction, and delivered great photos. The Fox+Ivory team even provided free rehearsal dinner photography due to the unforeseen circumstances. We really appreciated them going above and beyond given these unfortunate circumstances, and would highly recommend them.

Jen knew what shots she wanted so there was no wasted time in getting tons of important photos, and she was open to the photos my husband and I wanted as well. We received a few photos within a week of our wedding and they all look beautiful - we can't wait for the rest of the album.

This led to significant delays, an abundance of stress, rushed portraits, and missed photo opportunities with each other, as the bride and groom, and with our loved ones. The photographers had not scouted our location in advance, they did not keep to our schedule, and they lacked focus and direction. The photography challenges we faced on our wedding day show in the final gallery we were delivered. We did not receive the quality and quantity of photos we expected, and few photos feel worthy of printing or sharing with family and friends. When we shared feedback with Jay and Peter after our wedding, they dismissed our concerns and did not take accountability.

h it. Since we were planning from out of town, they were incredibly accommodating with our schedule, which made the whole process so much easier and stress-free. Most of our communication throughout the planning process was with the owner, who was very responsive and helpful. Then, the week of the wedding, they made sure we had a final details call directly with Nisa, which gave me so much confidence going into the big day and made sure everything was perfectly aligned. For our engagement session, Nisa helped suggest beautiful locations and even gave us the flexibility to change if we wanted. She had a great eye for where to take photos and guided us through posing in a way that felt natural and comfortable. On our wedding day, Nisa and Andrew arrived early and immediately got started capturing moments. They were organized and made sure to get all the photos on my must-have list—and then some! Any additional requests I had were met with enthusiasm, and they were always quick to jump in and capture both the planned shots and fun candid moments. If you have specific photos in mind, definitely share them—they are very responsive and want to make sure your vision comes to life. We’re so grateful for how they captured our day and would highly recommend Fox and Ivory!

We ended booking up two photographers for the wedding day and I’m really glad we did. Jen and Saoirse were phenomenal. The photos are so beautiful and they were both so kind and efficient! I didn’t feel like I spent all day away from my guests taking photos, but I did feel beautiful and supported. Jen and Saoirse were fun, easy to talk to, and definitely got the vibe of the wedding. I was particularly touched by Jen’s emotional response to my husband’s welcome speech, acknowledging the difficult political moment we found ourselves in in early October in Chicago… The turnaround time for getting the photos was amazing! Even more amazing was the editing work they did to make it look like my sister - who was sick with Covid and was only at the wedding for a few minutes - was in more photos than she was actually there for! I am so grateful for all of their work and highly recommend them if you’re looking for a wedding photographer!

From our first engagement shot to the day of, they had all kinds of guidance to share to help make the day go more smoothly. We worked with Peter and one photographer on our engagement day and Peter and a different photographer on our wedding day and both were amazing, which speaks to the consistency and high level of talent. We also used one of their videographers the day of our wedding who was able to capture all of the moments, while never being in the way. In getting to work with Peter (co-founder) directly, he was able to take our vision for the kinds of photos we wanted and make it come alive. He was great at balancing the number of photos we did want with family and certain groups of friends while capturing amazing candids that we got to relive back. He and his team were also great about managing against our timelines as well as managing our family members to make sure we could still enjoy our cocktail hour and other parts of the weddings. a problem — then it became like pulling teeth to get a response. It took multiple emails and leaving voicemails just to get someone to reply after we had missing footage from our film (the first look with my Dad, which is a major moment) and I had asked for a few edits of the most important pictures since there were very few of family. We got our gallery after 6 weeks, which was expected, but the photos were a disappointment considering the amount of money we paid. In the very little family photos we have, there are people with eyes closed, caught mid-sentence, or blocked. It felt like there was no planning or intention behind what was captured, and there was no organization of how people were placed. The gallery really lacked variety. One bridesmaid had solo photos taken SIX times, yet somehow there were no groomsmen-only photos with the groom. My mom — the mother of the bride — is barely in any photos. Family photos in general were seriously lacking. The film was the most devestating part. The one moment I truly cared about having on film — my first look with my dad — was ruined. I wasn’t told until after multiple inquiries and almost 3 months after the wedding that the microphones had failed which is why they decided to just cut it out. Instead of working with us on a thoughtful fix, they finally added it in and just slapped on some random music that didn’t match the moment at all. It was honestly just sad to see that memory treated so carelessly with no apology at all. He actually worded it like he did me a favor by saying “I’m happy we were able to get that in your film”. Excuse me? I only asked for six photos to be re-edited — that was almost three months ago, and every time I ask about it I get ghosted. No updates, no accountability. The owner was warm and responsive early on, but once something went wrong, that professionalism disappeared. It became clear that once they’ve been paid, you're no longer a priority. You don’t get a second chance at your wedding memories. I was extremely understanding in my initial phone call and follow uo emails with Jay. I even reiterated that I know we could not go back and find pictures that were not taken, but if we could just make some adjustments to the existing family photos that would help. I was told that this could absolutely be done, and it still hasn’t. Inexcusable. I understand that business owners can’t answer emails immediately, but ghosting for weeks is ridiculous. I only received a vague response after I would call and leave voicemails. If this was something that they truly needed more time to work on, then update me and keep me im the loop when I patiently wait 6 additional weeks and have sent a follow up. A little communication would have gone a long way here. It’s the lack of apologizing and effort to rectify this in a professional and respectful manner that I have a big issue with. The last thing they responded was that they edited the pictures to clear their name and looking back at the gallery, they absolutely did not. I have already told many of my engaged friends to avoid this company. * Sharing this experience to warn others because as a bride, it is incredibly difficult to choose a wedding vendor and you should be made to feel like a priority*

dored working with Kelsy at our engagement shoot and she produced the most amazing photos. Additionally, on our wedding day Kelsy and Yasmine were fun and took fantastic photos. We also had the privilege of working with Matt for videography and he was an absolute crowd favorite. Our team had such an amazing impact that a bridesmaid reached out to specifically request Kelsy, Yasmine, and Matt for her own wedding day. I could not recommend Fox and Ivory enough, they are right in saying it is an investment because my husband and I will cherish these photos and videos for the rest of our lives. We cannot say thank you enough!

My husband and I are not used to taking photos so we did an engagement session to get more comfortable. The photos turned out beautifully and Sadie gave us amazing direction on how to pose. The day of the wedding we had a larger team and everyone was so kind, professional, and fun to spend the day with! Everything went so smoothly and Sadie did such a wonderful job making sure we were comfortable all day and also keeping things on track! The whole team is so creative and did such an amazing job! We worked with Victor as our photographer and did add on an engagement photoshoot to help us get to know Victor before our wedding day and to get comfortable being photographed. We are glad we did that. Victor did an amazing job photographing both our engagement photos and our wedding day! He captured the right blend of detail and people photos. We are very happy with how our wedding photos turned out. Looking back through the photos, we do feel the emotions of our day again! He captured so many great moments! t of otherwise, this being our first rodeo and all. Our photographer was Justin, who was so fun & easygoing! He got creative whenever we hit any snags. For example, the weather did not cooperate with us so we pivoted to new locations and he had such a positive & encouraging attitude about things. We loved working with him & would absolutely pick him again. We haven't seen all of our pics yet, but we got a handful of previews a week later & they look great!
