Lauren Fox and her whole team at Fox Events made the difference between good and great this past weekend for our sons wedding. She made last minute pivots due to rain on Friday night and extreme wind on Saturday night, and no one would have ever known that the end result was anything short of according to plan. She is organized, creative, communicative and beyond professional. I have two more kids and won’t hesitate to use her again. She was absolutely amazing and we couldn’t have done it without her.

It has taken us a while to finally write this review because we genuinely didn’t have the words to describe just how wonderful Lindsay from Fox Events truly is! We probably still won’t do this review justice, but will do our best! Lindsay was everything we could ever ask for in a wedding designer and planner, and then some! She listened to every wild dream and vision that we had for our special day and brought it all to life in a way that we will remember forever. She is incredibly talented, patient, thoughtful and professional. With every phone call, text and meeting leading up to our wedding day, we felt like we were talking to a friend who understood us and genuinely wanted the best for us. Our wedding was probably one of the first in Charleston to be impacted by COVID-19 at a time when nobody knew what weddings would or could look like during a pandemic. Lindsay and her team handled changing our wedding date (and a drastic head count reduction!) with grace, and so professionally that we ended up only losing one vendor who was able to reimburse the majority of our down payment. If you aren’t familiar with the wedding industry, we can tell you that changing your date and keeping all of your incredible vendors is rare, and a true testament to Lindsay and Fox Event’s professionalism and reputation within the industry. Despite the pandemic and the unknowns of 2020, our wedding day and the many, many months leading up to it were a dream. We literally didn’t have to do a thing but show up and soak up every ounce of the joy we felt on our special day. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and feel so lucky to have had Lindsay and Fox Events there to navigate us through it all. Thank you so much, Lindsay!

We worked primarily with Liz to plan our November 2020 (originally April 2020) wedding at Lowndes Grove in Charleston and had an absolutely fantastic experience. We also interacted with the rest of the Fox Events team throughout the process, especially on the wedding day itself, and can definitely say that the whole team is top notch. Throughout your time working with them, you will get their full and undivided attention and they will create an unforgettable event for you. During the planning phase – We first connected with Liz in August 2018, a full 20 months before our original wedding date and over two years before we ultimately got married. Literally from day one until we got married, she was on top of everything and was highly responsive to all our questions, concerns, and thoughts. Even before COVID threw a wrench in our planning process, Liz was excellent to work with – very organized, highly attentive to details, and had lots of great design ideas that really helped bring our vision to life. She recommended so many great vendors and managed nearly all the required interactions / planning with them, taking so much work off our plates and making the process as straightforward as possible. As mentioned, we had to make the decision to postpone our wedding just a few weeks before it was supposed to happen, and we’re not sure what we would have done without Liz. She worked with us, our venue, and all our vendors to find a new date and deal with every required change. She even updated aspects of our wedding design to correspond to the change in timing / season, which we weren’t even thinking about anymore at that point. Liz and everybody at Fox Events made what was a totally unpredictable situation as stress-free and smooth as possible. We know we’re not the only couple she had to do this for, and the fact that she was able to deal with everything so gracefully speaks volumes. During the wedding – We can’t say enough about Liz and team on wedding day. The full Fox Events team showed up extremely prepared and organized. Every detail was pre-planned and timed behind the scenes without it being overwhelming at all to us or our guests. It poured for pretty much the entire day and Liz pivoted plans quickly and flawlessly and we hardly noticed. Lowndes Grove looked amazing thanks to her design and we got lots of compliments on how nice everything looked and how smoothly everything ran. Liz even surprised us by doing some extra prep and design work for our rehearsal dinner the night before, then staying onsite the whole time to make sure everything went smoothly. Hiring Liz and Fox Events was ultimately the most valuable thing we did for our wedding and we truly can’t recommend her and the rest of the Fox Events team enough. They all went above and beyond for us.

So my wedding was planned for September 9th, 2017 in Charleston, SC. However, Hurricane Irma had something different planned. We planned with Fox events for about 1 year and everyone kept asking how stressed I was. Even AFTER we decided to move the wedding up a day in order to avoid the hurricane, my answer was always the same, "I have the BEST wedding planner and I am not stressed at all." Lauren and her team were AMAZING. Oh, and did I mention Lauren had a baby ONE WEEK before the wedding. These ladies seriously went above and beyond. The wedding was perfect, you would have never known that everything was moved up a day. I would recommend them for any event you have. They are the most fun to work with and have great connections. Thank you so much to Fox events, I honestly do not think our wedding would have happened without them.
