About this vendor
Fox Road PhotoImagery is a wedding photography company based in Kansas City, MO. There is a story behind every wedding, and this business is committed to capturing it. Whether it’s in the smaller details or a portrait of the newlyweds with their loved ones, nothing should go undocumented.
Since they were just a child, this artist has understood photography’s unique ability to tell important stories. At first, it was daring tales about encounters between her stuffed animals and the family dog, before moving onto a Pentax K1000 in seventh grade. Her passion for photography continued throughout college, as she worked at various studios. In 1991, she photographed her first wedding and has continued ever since. Fox Road PhotoImagery approaches every wedding with the same excitement they approached the stuffed animals from their childhood.
Outside of weddings, Fox Road PhotoImagery takes pictures of a wide variety of subjects, from food to pets. This means that they can work in a variety of styles, although photojournalism is their specialism. She loves to incorporate the natural beauty of the outdoors in her images, whether that’s a sunset-streaked sky or a perfectly placed sunburst. Intimate moments between the couple, or a sweet embrace between them and their loved ones, are also favorites of this photographer.

y. She handled everything perfectly I 10/10 would recommend.
Christie was so fun to work with. She came up with amazing photo opportunities and made the wedding so memorable. I recommend her for any all type of events

asked for a better photographer to shoot our engagement and wedding photos!
Christie is AMAZING!! Stop your research here, I'm telling you, she is the one!! Right from the beginning she made us feel super comfortable, and her passion for photography combin...
ed with her creativity and attention to detail allowed us to end up with breathtaking photos, way better than I could have even imagined. Her ability to bring out a comfortable, beautiful pose from even the post awkward person is so impressive. Also, Christie is from the area and knows her stuff when it comes to locations and their lighting needs, obstacles, possible fun shots using location features, etc. She also had experience photographing Catholic wedding ceremonies, which was a huge plus for us since most catholic churches tend to be pretty restrictive about photography during wedding ceremonies. Thank you, from Hannah and Nick. :)
We are absolutely thrilled with the incredible work of Christie at our wedding! From the moment we met her, she exuded warmth and professionalism. Throughout the entire process, Ch...
ristie wasn't just a photographer; she became a cherished friend, guiding us through the whirlwind of wedding planning.
On the big day itself, Christie was an absolute gem! She seamlessly blended into the background, capturing the most precious moments without intruding on the intimacy of the day. Her keen eye for detail ensured that no special moment went unnoticed, from the tearful exchange of vows to the joyous laughter on the dance floor.
What truly sets Christie apart is her genuine respect and curiosity about different cultures. As we were having a Middle Eastern wedding, Christie took the time to learn more about our traditions and customs, ensuring she captured every significant moment with authenticity and sensitivity.
Looking through our wedding album feels like reliving the day all over again, with each photograph telling a beautiful story of love, laughter, and celebration. Christie's skillful editing brought out the natural beauty of every shot, leaving us with timeless images that we will cherish for a lifetime.
Not only is Christie incredibly talented, but she is also an absolute delight to work with. Her calm and friendly demeanor put us at ease, making the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free.
We cannot recommend Christie highly enough. If you're looking for a photographer who will go above and beyond to capture the magic of your special day, look no further. Thank you, Christie, for giving us memories that we will treasure forever!
We love you Christie,

Christie and her team were so fun to work with and they captured the most memorable moments!
Christie Ramsey is an excellent photographer and a very nice person. We first worked with Christie on our engagement photo shoot in Spring and then on our wedding day in Fall. She ...
not only captures great moments, but she’s very good at ideas and recommendations to help capture that one dream shot you ever wanted.
Christie was very good working with our pup and make sure to capture some great frames including him. She had props and toys to draw his attention. She made sure that we get all of our dream shots, portraits of our friends and families and all those candids given the tight timeframe we had on our wedding day.
Christie and the team went above and beyond. They worked so hard to capture anything and everything that we could hope for. I’m happy and grateful to have had her as our lead photographer. I’d definitely love to work with her in future for our family photo shoot and recommend her. It’s the little things that matter and Christie knows that so well. It’s one thing to get service that you paid for, but it’s another when that person puts her heart and 100% into it. We loved working with Christie.
We're so happy we found Christie! From our engagement shoot to the day-of, we were in LOVE with the photos - and even more than that, Christie felt like part of the family. She eve...
n helped fix my dress when the bustle thread come out while getting ready! (And was so nice when I had my bit of panic moment haha.)
Even though she's super busy, she always made us feel like we had her full attention, and she was responsive, kind, and so funny! Super appreciate her advice all through the process (on even not photography related wedding things!) and her patience and incredible talent on the day-of. She let us know that she was covered ahead of time in case anything were to happen day of (and encouraged us to check on all our vendor's backup plans in case of emergency) and she brings a second photographer along, giving us such an amazing variety of photos!
All of this and - huge thing for me - I was so grateful she actually lists her pricing on her website. Anyone who's had to wade through 1000 quote requests knows how nice that is... plus she's SO reasonable price-wise! We did a bundle with her photographer and DJ, and so so glad we did!
Seriously can't recommend her enough!!
Our photos came out wonderfully! The two photographers and videographer were very professional and did well getting so many shots.

where for different things. They were so fun and great to work with. We can’t say enough good things about them. They were just beyond helpful and were 1000% pure awesomeness. I would recommend her to ANYONE whether they are getting married, engagement pictures, or any pictures. I’m sure they are always amazing no matter what the occasion. My husband does not like pictures that much and said how great all of our vendors were, including our AMAZING photographers. We would recommend Christie over and over again. We are looking forward to getting our pictures from our wedding. 😊
We hired Christie and team for our wedding on 4/30 and they were amazing. We had a couple of pre-meetings with her that helped us build a rapport. She definitely is a go-getter a...
nd her main focus is the bride and groom and what they want. She was hilarious too, which made us all feel comfortable! Definitely plan to use her for all our photography needs going forward. She brought a second photographer that was able to take the groom getting ready pictures while she took the bride getting ready pictures. Everywhere we looked there was a photographer, and we got our pictures back in under 4 weeks and are absolutely in love with all of them!
She is a wizard! Like I’m not kidding. My husband HATES getting professional pictures, like refuses to ever get them done, and he LOVED getting his pictures done by her. She is fun...

xperiences stress free for me and fun! Words can't describe how many beautiful photos I have from my wedding. She is so creative and knows what she's doing.i also recommend working with Fox Road photography and Michael Day Dj! They work seamlessly together and made our reception perfect! Just can't say enough good things!
Christie was so amazing to work with. She was really quick at getting our photos back to us.
Working with Christie was just wonderful. We had hired a photographer to work with us initially but he turned out to be just plain rude. Meeting with Christie reassured us that not...
all photographers act that way. Christie was friendly, helpful and included us in her planning. She made us feel that we were truly partners in this process. This was our first time ever using a professional photographer and Christie made us feel like friends throughout the whole process. We brought ideas and pictures that we had found on Pinterest and other sites and she helped us to incorporate them into our shoots.
The day of the wedding, Christie spent the whole day and evening with us, capturing our big day perfectly. She was sweet and polite to our parents and grandparents, accommodating their needs to make sure she captured pictures that we may never get the opportunity to take again. Our families loved working with Christie because of her laid back, yet professional approach.
When it comes to quality of her photography, it is beyond compare to others that we have saw from other weddings. The pictures she captured, now decorate not only our house, but those of our families. In looking back, she not only captured our wedding, but she captured a day in the life of our families that we will never experience again. For this, we are eternally grateful and recommend her to all who ask. Thank you Christie for making our wedding, the best day of our life.
Christie did a fantastic job shooting my wedding! She went the extra mile and made sure I got all of the photos I wanted. Christie is very experienced and organized.

s sure you are having fun. We had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID and Christie worked with us and made the transition easy. She goes above and beyond for her clients. We recommend Christie to everyone!

rough the fluid process of planning and re-planning a wedding during COVID-19. She found the most beautiful locations to shoot our Engagement photos and First Look photos. The photos she took at the wedding were absolutely phenomenal.
We would highly recommend using Christie as an event photographer. We would also recommend using her services along with Michael Day (DJ). Mike and Christie make an excellent team.
