We found Father Bailey through The Knot because we wanted a Catholic ceremony but felt constricted by the Roman Catholic requirements.
We met with him twice before the wedding ...
and even joined the church where performs mass in New Haven. He's very kind, understanding, funny, and laid back. He didn't make me nervous and his devout spirituality really assured my husband about our choice. He was very patient and handled our hundreds of emails and questions for months.
Father Bailey was able to perform a full mass for us for our wedding at our venue which is one of the upsides of having a priest from this faith. Our families were very impressed and pleased with the service. I couldn't have asked for anything better. We were able to have the exact wedding we wanted!

e Matthew Bailey marry us at the reception location. Fr. Bailey was kind of hard to get in touch with and was a little... aloof I guess. Not cheap either. But ultimately, he did a great job during the ceremony and I was able to get the Catholic-ish ceremony I had hoped for. Kept Grandma happy, and the guests liked that it was short and sweet with no communion :) Glad we went with him.

g over the top. We were able to write our own vows and choose our own readings. The price was a bit high, about $500, but I would still recommend them, especially if you want a religious ceremony outside of the church.
