About Father Stephen Ryan Fr. Stephen is an Ordained Catholic Priest and wedding officiant in Cape Coral, Florida. Fr. Stephen is a graduate of St. Joseph's Seminary in Yonkers, New York with a Master of Divinity Degree. He has served in parishes in the Bronx and Staten Island, New York City, as well as in Amsterdam, and Utica, in upstate New York. Through Social Media his ministry seeks to reach all who are in need wherever they are and anyone who for any reason feels alienated from the Church. His mission is to share God's radical love for all through the sacraments of the Church. Fr. Stephen will work closely with you as you plan your special day, drawing on over thirty years of experience in ministry. He has married many couples and each one is unique and every wedding ceremony is an opportunity to witness God's love come to life as he helps them make their ceremony everything they want it to be. Father Stephen is available to officiate at your civil ceremony, same gender wedding, Interfaith, Catholic, renewal of vows and other types of ceremonies. In addition to working with you to plan your ceremony, he can also assist you with pre-marital counseling, and any sacramental needs such as, Baptism, Holy Communion and Confirmation. He is happy to implement many different customs and traditions to personalize your ceremony. Some of these include, the Unity Candle, Nuptial Blessing, Blending of sands, Memory candle, Releasing of Doves, Breaking of the glass, Communion.
