I am so happy we found Johanna to be our wedding photographer!!! She is an absolute treasure and I’ve decide she will be our photographer for everything going forward. She is so sweet and warm and makes you feel comfortable right away. At our engagement session she helped guide us through the entire shoot and we couldn’t have been happier with the turn out. Little did I know I would be left speechless when we received wedding photos. I haven’t even received the entire album yet but our sneak peeks are perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to capture such an important day! Thank you for everything Johanna!! See you for our next session!

I could never say enough good things about Johanna! She is incredibly talented, kind, and will highlight all the best parts of you in your pictures. I worked with her for my boudoir session, engagement session, and my wedding and our pictures came out better than I could have dreamed!!! Johanna knows exactly how to boost your confidence and make you feel so beautiful in your pictures, and she’s great at coming up with perfect shots and poses that feel natural and not at all staged or awkward. I was so nervous about doing boudoir, but she put on some fun music and made me feel completely comfortable with the whole thing. She was constantly saying how great I was doing and she was getting so excited about the pictures she was taking and totally boosting my confidence. We pretty much let her have total creative control since we aren’t great at coming up with ideas, and she did not disappoint! A lot of pictures from our engagement session were candid, as she had us just talk and interact with each other as she took pictures from afar. These turned out to be some of the best and they look super natural and so sweet! As for our wedding, she captured all the right moments and perfectly highlighted our love for each other. We weren’t super posed here either, especially during the reception, and our pictures really showcase how much fun we were having. There were so many pictures where she caught us just being together, without even knowing she was there, and these are some of my absolute favorites. In addition to being a rockstar photographer, she also semi-coordinated our day! We didn’t have a wedding coordinator and we knew little about the order of events or how much time we should allot for certain things. Johanna went over all of this with me beforehand and was super helpful in navigating how our day would go. On the day of, she was just amazing and kept everything going and on track just as it should be, and I barely had to worry at all. I had so much trust in her and I wasn’t let down in the slightest. She totally didn’t have to do all that she did, and she truly went above and beyond. All of our wedding guests absolutely raved about her for how kind, fun, and organized she was, and loved how she not only captured my husband and me, but also all of our friends and family as well. Some of the best pictures are of our guests dancing together (we got the absolute sweetest pictures of all the older couples dancing to a slow song), laughing, or just having an awesome time. I couldn’t recommend Johanna enough. Also, for all the LGBTQ+ folks, Johanna is super inclusive and supportive and she has shot some beautiful weddings for people of all sexualities and identities. Johanna recently did our engagement photos and, y’all, she is INCREDIBLE. She is kind, makes you and your partner feel totally comfortable, and is open to going anywhere to capture the perfect pictures. We so enjoyed working with her and cannot recommend her enough.

Johanna just did our wedding. She is amazing!!! She is very professional and organized. Questions or emails were addressed promptly. Phone and video calls were planned and communication was open/accessible. She is friendly, down to earth and very easy to work with. She provided amazing pictures for our engagement and wedding. We are beyond pleased with our photos. Several of our the best photos were just her capturing the moment and unplanned. We are from out of town and Johanna was always willing to help with suggestions and recommendations concerning other aspects of the wedding if needed. We are very appreciative of the kindness.
