Frances + Tony Photography are wedding photographers based out of Arizona and Colorado. We travel Nationwide! Our goal is simple: we want our photography and videos to make people laugh, cry and tell a story no one will ever forget. We aim to achieve this in every single wedding we shoot, no matter the size. We are a husband and wife team, we are madly in love, deeply devoted to our craft, and highly experienced to capture your moments and make them last forever. We specialize in documentary photography and creative direction to help you avoid awkward posing!

Starting from the beginning working with Tony and Frances has been easy. They are very warm and personable and took time to understand what kind of people we are to capture us perfectly. Both of them were very patient in planning and even more patient the day of the wedding. No stress, no fuss.
We were made to feel on top of the world while taking pictures!
Our wedding day was postponed several times due to Covid and they both stood by our side the entire time and stayed in near constant communication to ensure they could still be with us on our wedding day. Both Tony and Frances provided a lot of support and kind words along the way- Just above and beyond. It was so refreshing to work with people that truly seem like they care about you and have passion for their work.
We just received our photos and video and it was better then we could have imagined. They captured so many little moments, details and people that we will cherish for a lifetime.
Wonderful experience! Frances and Tony left us at ease on our day and gave us beautiful images. Very pleased. Highly recommended!

We hired Frances + Tony for our wedding and it was absolutely the biggest mistake of our wedding. To get you on board, their communication started off okay. We planned everything out via a couple hour phone call. Then when the day got close, we started receiving emails at odd hours of the night that sounded like someone who was intoxicated wrote with questions we remembered answering. We were also asked to join a “quick meeting” where we found, Frances didn’t reference or have with her any of the notes from the previous meeting, and where we were told another couple they were working with was being prioritized over us since they were hired last minute, and their event was before ours. We were very upset and thought it was super unprofessional that she even brought this up to us. While we do understand that the photographer needs to be involved with the flow of the day, we also know that at the end of the day, it is OUR day and the photographer should honor that. During this call, she argued with my husband (who has 10 years of photography experience) about the timing of the day, lighting, and golden hour/sunset times.
On the day of, she brought an extra assistant without telling us, so our venue was not prepared and this added extra stress on me that was not needed. I specifically asked for her help when posing me as I know I can be awkward looking and she didn’t really do any of that for us. Most of the photos are candids that look awkward and directionless. Our contract stated that we should receive our photos back within eight weeks but took TEN weeks to come back. Finally, upon receiving them – we didn’t like most of them to be very frank. The few that we did like were in black and white so we reached out to see if we could get them in color. In the response back from Frances, she was not only nasty and rude, we also found out that she was withholding 150 additional images from her second shooter (that she didn’t tell us she was bringing) and told us she would give those to us in exchange for a glowing review online.
Please do not make the same mistake as us by going with this photographer. It will only result in a ton of additional stress that we should not have had to deal with prior to, during, and AFTER our event.

ve tried to be gracious, kind, professional and respectful to you, yet you are determined to bring detriment to our name. You are upset because I had to call you back and verify information on the timeline we worked together on as a First Draft. I always go back and forth 2-3 times with every client before finalizing the timeline. I take pride in making sure I am on time for everything and that your day runs smoothly. You admitted you were extremely stressed out because alongside planning your wedding you guys were packing and moving, and apologized for expressing frustration toward me, to the point I had mentioned to you both that I was actually concerned about moving forward. You guys seriously got frustrated over me verifying details with you about your wedding - which is what I do to bring clarity and organization to a day that is already so stressful. Preparing the timeline is not a one and done job.
I tried to make things right with you, I brought along a 2nd shooter (that you did not pay for) in an attempt to make sure I went above and beyond excellence. You were unhappy in the dress you wore; you were unhappy with the way you looked; you were rude to your family members during portrait time. Your own mother pulled me aside and had to apologize for your behavior. Please understand I don’t drink nor do drugs, and I certainly don’t argue with any of my clients, namely your husband.
I was gracious and kind to your family, my assistants and I paid you the highest compliments, and we worked our tails off for you. I have tried to appease you and yet somehow it has all turned against me. I have learned no matter what - when people are rude and nasty - stay calm, kind and professional and I have done all of the above.
After the wedding I edited your photos with extra attention and care, yet you posted negative reviews purely out of spite. I am sorry you feel this way, but I gave you 110% despite your aggression and you being mean-spirited to me before, during and after your wedding. I treated you like the beautiful bride you were on your wedding day, even though you were unhappy, self-conscious, and uncomfortable the entire time. Your images look amazing, just look at the likes and comments on our Facebook page. Yes, we still left your photos up because we enjoyed shooting your wedding despite your unpleasant attitude and treatment.
As I told you before, I go above and beyond for my clients. Upon fulfilling all my contractual obligations, you wrote me a very nasty review (filled with exaggerations and half-truths), and afterward asked me for several favors. Had you been pleasant, kind and reasonable, I would have given you anything you asked for. In spite of it all, I wish you happiness and success in your marriage.
Frances and Tony were wonderful! Day of the wedding was a mess of rain on our out door wedding and they took it in stride and helped us get amazing pics to mark the day!
Frances and Tony were professional and fun. They made us feel comfortable and most importantly our pictures were amazing and everything I wanted them to be. They were very communicative throughout prior to the wedding which was very important to me. Thank you both so much. Everything is beautiful.
Capturing My Daughter’s Wedding In Time!
Let me start by confessing; I acted very much he part of the proud and extravagant father of the bride. My only daughter and her only wedding (yes, I’m declaring it to be so) needed to be remarkable. As such, I set out to achieve the unachievable, the perfect wedding.
We found a great venue - The Atrium Wedding Venues Norcross GA. I engaged friends church to form and formed an ad-hoc praise and worship ensemble, and, for good measure, we hired a New Orleans Brass and Jazz Band. A quick read of a medium post I wrote a couple of years ago here https://bit.ly/3CeYz78; you'll see why this just had to be.
So far, so good!
The only remaining question was how to perfectly memorialize the moment. It all came down to the quality of the images that would live on long after the moment had passed.
No doubt, we live in an an an age where our phone devices are equipped with cameras and recording ability that can deliver a quality product. I think we take for granted what it means to have “an eye,” the ability to tell a complete and compelling story through the images of the hour, our phones have ruined the value we place on the collection of treasured photographs (“ok boomer”) for me, that was an equally important element of the entire day.
When it came time to make that decision, there was only one choice for me to make. I knew who I needed to contact. It had to be someone with the skillset to create magic, not just with quality equipment and the like, but with an eye for the moment. I knew it had to be Frances + Tony Photography & Films. I met this talented duo on the set of a young singer making a big-league music video, and she wanted to bring in high-level talent to achieve her vision; she chose them. After that, we stayed in touch, and I started following their work. I became more and more impressed with their ability to capture the moment, to see the occasion through the eyes of their client. I became a real fan. When the time came for us to secure both a photographer and cinematographer, the choice was clear.

We couldn’t have been happier with the services of Frances ad Tony on our wedding day.
Their arrival at our venue was timely and they took beautiful photos during our ceremony. Afterward, they were consummate professionals in choreographing (and wrangling!) our guests for the family pictures.
My husband tore his Achilles tendon three weeks before our wedding and had to wear a huge cast and make use of a motorized scooter on our wedding day and this presented a major hurdle for Frances. She handled it like a pro! She did her best to “shoot around” the obtrusive cast, was patient with my husband’s lack of mobility getting around the venue for our desired shots, and then traveled to our reception venue 20 minutes away to get lovely photos there as well.
It took approximately 8 weeks for us to get our photos back but they were really beautiful. We highly recommend Franto and will gladly work with them again for future family photos!
Frances was great. Super professional. She was very thorough in explaining the day-of process. Our photos turned out beautifully! I would definitely recommend her.

We had the amazing experience to have Frances and Tony photograph and video our wedding! Everything went so well, much better than we anticipated, and it was such a joy watching these two collaborate together, always giving us ideas, Frances helped me with keeping us on schedule which was huge because our coordinator went MIA lol! But they have walkie talkies and were always checking in with one another as the other was photographing or videoing something else. We loved ALL our photos and video, brought us to tears to see how beautiful everything came out. Very happy, very satisfied with everything they offered :)

Accomodating with her time when we had a family emergency during the wedding and had to delay taking pics.
She knows how to pose so that you look natural and the pictures turn out really well.
Obviously a wedding is one of the few HUGE MOMENTS in your life, and it is paramount for couple's to capture every possible moment throughout the day! Of course, this takes proper planning and a lot more than someone simply showing up the "day of" and snapping a bunch of pictures. Frances was wonderful!!!! We met with her on a couple of occasions prior to our wedding day, and she really listened to what was important to us, and our photos reflected this respectful relationship! Our wedding day was captured beautifully, from both my wife and I getting ready, to very special moments before the ceremony, and throughout the day well into the night. I can't say enough amazing things about Frances! She both is incredibly professional and talented. The images she captured of our wedding are breathtaking - she put time and care into scouting many different great locations based on the light, background and feel for who my husband and I are as people. She was very easy to communicate with, and really was a pleasure to have with us during our wedding day. My wife, then bride, Francine is the one who found Frances, but I wanted to write a review for her because I was incredibly impressed by her professionalism and hard work through out the entire process with us. One needs to understand that Frances didn't just show up at our wedding and take pictures. She was holding our hands 8 months before, always answering any questions we had, meeting up with us, helping us with the contract and handling family posing, tempers and so forth lol. She was amazing. We just got our first preview pictures from our wedding and Francine was in tears. They are mesmerizing. Thank you!!!

We were able to maintain confidence in Frances through the entire process, which she followed through on dutifully.
When the big day came, she and her assistant were personable, respectful and clear in directing the project we hired them for to completion.
They exhibited great imagination and adapted to our venue - the proof is in our shots. I have not just a handful but HUNDREDS of photos which make for great prints.
The management system she uses for viewing, downloading and ordering prints works great, and has met all of our needs.

Frances was a life saver! After my photography went M.I.A. 10 or so days before my wedding I was desperate! Photography was very important to me, it lasts longer than the flowers, the food, and just about everything else. I searched through dozens of photographers and kept going back to Frances. I really appreciated her style of photography. She responded quickly to my inquiry, and was available on my wedding day! I am so happy with the way the photos turned out! It is so hard to choose the ones we love the most.
Frances was very easy to work with. I am active duty military and was having a wedding across the US, site unseen. Her ability to work with us to give us a photo package that worked for our situation made a very stressful situation more bearable. I have had 2 daughters of mine get married, I wish I had hired Frances for my first daughter's big day. The photographer back then was ok, but Frances brings something else to the game: she is cool, sweet, ultra professional and just knows what she's doing. I used Frances Cecilia as my wedding photographer and she was super fantastic and my pictures we 100% spot on. She was very responsive in what I wanted in pictures. That day goes by in a blink of an eye and she captured moments I will cherish forever. Her professionalism was fantastic and treated me and my entire family with the utmost respect. She was on time and stayed a little past her scheduled end time. She worked hard that day, even in the Colorado monsoon and did it all with a smile.

Both love all aspects of the craft, photography and creating films, and are actually working on a full length feature documentary at the present. When not shooting weddings, they love to photograph people, places and sunsets all over the country. Frances + Tony have shot weddings and films in HI, AK, CA, AZ, CO and all over the East Coast.
