My wife and I recently worked with Frank for our October wedding in Charleston and could have not been more thrilled! His manner, professionalism, and attention to detail were unmatched and he really put us at ease to help get the most out of capturing the best day of our lives. His work is immaculate, he is incredibly responsive in his communication and the turnaround time for our sneak peaks and videos was extremely fast. Further, we would recommend the love story to any Bride and Groom looking to eternally capture their amazing day! We cannot recommend Frank enough!

My original wedding videographer canceled three days before my wedding, so I was in a panic. It was clearly a unique situation, and most other videographers I called were either rude or did not get back to me at all. Frank was the only one I was able to reach out to that answered the phone and was kind and helpful. I was able to hire him two days before my wedding AND he gave me more footage and drone views than I was originally going to get with the other videographer!! Frank was so friendly and kind, and calmed my nerves while I was very obviously stressed with the wedding and this last minute cancellation. He customized everything to what we wanted and gave us a ton of footage that we will have for the rest of our lives. For someone coming into our wedding so last minute, he fit right in and was so accommodating. He was great with the guests and made us feel comfortable the entire time. He got all the views/footage we wanted, and we truly recommend him for all of your videographer needs. If you are considering hiring a videographer for your wedding in the Charleston area, go with Frank!!!!! You will not be disappointed!!!

We hesitated hiring a videographer for our wedding (for far too long in hindsight) - but I would strongly recommend hiring Frank be the first thing you do! His work is incredible. Frank is a phenomenal videographer! We could not be happier with the job he did for our daughter, Hayes, and son-in-law, Ryan, for their wedding. From the rehearsal dinner all the way through leaving the reception, he captured some amazing footage and was a true joy to work with. Originally, we had not thought to have him at the rehearsal dinner, but sure are glad that we did as he was able to capture toasts and interviews that we otherwise would not have had. Frank was absolutely fabulous! I was hesitant on getting a videographer due to trying to stay within my wedding budget. Some people told me it would be worth it so I stretched my budget and hired Frank. Let me just say it was the best decision I made. Frank did an amazing job capturing literally every special part of my day! Ive been watching the videos over and over reliving the day. Wedding videos are a must and I 100% recommend Frank!! Not only did he make sure he captured every moment but he asked me questions to make sure that when he put my videos together that it would be everything I wanted. He nailed it. It was everything I wanted and more. It was the best day of our lives and we now have something to watch any time we want to relive it! Thank you so much Frank! All aspects of my wedding were covered. Francis West Studios was at my ceremony from beginning to end. Frank has a way of making everyone he works with feel like you're his only client. My whole wedding party and many of our guest bragged about how they observed how Frank was capturing everything. Francis West Studios had our video ready in record time. We ordered dvd's and had a reveal party with some of our wedding party, family and friends, and while watching the dvd ,those in attendance were laughing and crying and said that Francis West Studios is amazing!

We hired Frank way back in 2018 for our daughter’s May 2020 wedding. Well covid hit and we had to postpone twice! Frank was so very understanding and accommodating. Finally, wedding week arrived, and he did the rehearsal dinner with lots of “guest” interviews which were so much fun to watch. Wedding day was a beautiful May day and he captured every detail splendidly. The ceremony, the toasts, first dances and reception are all perfectly recorded for forever memories. He was so easy to work with and got us the sneak peeks quickly! The final video is priceless, the production is like a movie and it is by far the best choice we made for our daughter’s special day! I would highly recommend Frank over and over again! You won’t be sorry!!!!
Frank is wonderful to work with! I went back and forth on getting a videographer and I am so glad we did--our wedding was 2 weeks ago and we've watched the footage already to relive the day--he got it back to us SO fast :) Frank was great at communicating with us and keeping everything organized for the wedding day! We had to postpone because of COVID for a year and he made the transition very smooth and easy. The teaser he made of our wedding could not be more perfect. I hired Francis West Studios because of the work he produced for my brother's wedding. My husband and I's experience working with Frank and his assistant Thomas was great! Frank is very detail oriented and had a vision to capture us perfectly! He also did a great job on our mini love story.
Frank was so amazing to work with!!! As a bride, you want the best of the best in every category.. well, Frank is the best videographer out there! He is always available for a quick chat if you're the bride who has lots of questions (like me). His turnaround time for getting footage back to you is unreal!!! My husband and I were laying on the beach while on our honeymoon and received so many teaser videos from Frank! It was definitely something that we looked forward to throughout the week!! We got everything else (wedding ceremony video, reception video and dancing video) within a week or so after the wedding as well! While watching the videos, I don't even remember Frank being there during some of the footage.. so he isn't joking when he says "you won't even know I'm here" lol. He is the best and I 100% recommend giving him your business and trusting him to capture every second of your special day!

Frank and his team were simply amazing. It is without a doubt the best money we spent on our wedding- NO QUESTION! Frank and I met prior to the event so that he could get a feeling of what footage was most important to us. He surpassed our expectations, delivered our “wants” and so much more! It was so important to me, because I was done “planning” and hadn’t considered a videographer... until I had a dream and woke up at 3am and realized that as the bride, there was so much I would NOT see! Especially being the last to walk down the aisle, I would miss everything beforehand. Frank captured the entire thing with multiple camera angles, many microphones, and I am so grateful! After the wedding, we heard two things consistently- 1: the day was perfect and the wedding was a blast! And 2: Your videographer was amazing! He was everywhere and we can’t wait to see the videos! So we started receiving the videos on our honeymoon and our expectations were truly surpassed. Not only is the video AMAZING but the audio, too! It is remarkable, and he is so talented. Frank is literally the best choice my husband and I could have ever made for our wedding day videographer. He worked so hard the entire day and made sure he caught all of our special moments. He is very friendly, kind, and fun to work with. His communication has been awesome throughout the whole process. He has the fastest turn around time on video teasers and even full length videos. I was able to share wedding teasers with my family and friends in less than two days after our wedding. That was so exciting for us. He even took some pictures on his phone while filming our ceremony and shared them with us. They ended up being my favorite pictures while we await our professional photos. Our daughter was married on June 15, 2019, at Belfair in Bluffton, SC. She decided she wanted a videographer at her wedding and although we went back and forth on whether to have one or not, we can honestly say we are so glad that she won in the end! Since it was a destination wedding, our daughter researched many videographers until she came across Francis West Studios and knew he was the one. Frank was amazing and captured the most perfect video shots before, during and after the wedding. This is something that our daughter and her husband will cherish for a lifetime. We could not have hired someone better than Frank! Our wedding video definitely made more joyful tears than the actual wedding! He really knows a secret formula to create that effect!!! The way he captured all the moments are priceless! His choice of special camera effects, and his artful editing of the final video are the ingredients that made so many of my family members and friends wipe away tears as they watched our video . We were so lucky to snag Frank! He really took the time to get to know my husband and I and familiarize himself with our "story" before our wedding. He was with us from the very beginning of the morning and worked so hard until the end of the wedding. Frank is a pleasure to work with! He is such a nice and friendly person which I could tell from our first phone call. I was very picky with my video and told him what I wanted and it turned out amazing. I am so glad we hired a videographer because we weren't going to and now I am so so glad we did! The use of drones did not strike me as a necessity initially. However, after that special day, nothing illustrates it better than the aerial coverage. Additionally I was impressed that he hooked the DJ up to his equipment so the music in the videos could be heard clearly.
Frank was a class act and executed his vision with precision. It is rare to work with a true master of their craft. We have a beautiful lifetime memory from our special day and Steven Spielberg could not have captured it any better.

My daughter was married at Cypress Tree Plantation on Edisto Island, April 28th, 2018. I cannot begin to tell you the surrounding beauty that Frank Captured! Where do I begin? I have known Frank for nearly a decade ever since he was the videographer for my brother and sister-in-law. Frank was amazing! We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND his services. From the day we contacted him he was always quick to follow up and consistent throughout the whole process. We got the top package and were so happy we did. We LOVE our videos.... the love story and raw footage turned out great. The turn around time for getting the videos back was VERY fast, which impressed us. During our honeymoon we were able to see footage from our wedding!! Outstanding videography for our daughter's wedding at Legare Waring House. Frank and his assistant never got in the way but shot some fabulous footage of our daughter's wedding and reception. He even sent "sneak peeks" within a couple days of the event and delivered the final DVD within 2 weeks!
Frank did an incredible job with our wedding videos! My groom and parents were on the fence about hiring a videographer, but I convinced them (sort of late) and they are SO happy we did. What an amazing way to relive our favorite day over and over. Hire a videographer, and hire Frank! He's so great and we couldn't be happier!
