Choosing vendors, photographers, videographers, etc. can be challenging given the never ending number of options available to couples. Fortunately, our experience was as easy as they come. We met Franzi based on a recommendation from our venue. As soon as we had our introductory session we knew she was exactly who we wanted to be helping capture our wedding day. We got along instantly, almost as if we had been friends for a long time, and the rest was history. Franzi met us in Charlottesville for our engagement photo shoot and did a fantastic job working with us through different poses, etc. This is what she likes to call the 'training' session. Everyone has a chance to learn some basic poses and can get comfortable so that you're ready for the big day. I can confidently say after going through this we were much more relaxed going into the wedding day. From there, Franzi made herself available to us throughout the wedding planning process providing her professional opinion, and helping us to understand the pros and cons. Everything from general flow to small details was on the table. She even includes a book with a ton of thought starters for brides. HUGE BONUS if you ask us. The wedding day arrived and without Franzi and Ashley things would have likely felt much more chaotic. To quote my wife: "You definitely outdid yourself – the photos are absolutely STUNNING!!! We are so incredibly happy with them and can’t thank you enough. You truly made our day so easy and carefree, not to mention fun!!" Needless to say, we are so happy we chose Franzi to help us capture each and every moment on our special day and we're looking forward to finding additional moments for her to capture in the years to come. I happened to come across Franzi through a friend and fell in love with her photos online. When we reached out to her, her customer service was phenomenal! She returned emails in a timely manner and went out of her way to schedule phone calls with us to capture exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. Our practice engagement session was remarkable. It made both of us feel comfortable and to know what to expect on our wedding day. Franzi was there for us throughout our whole wedding process. On our actual wedding day, Franzi was incredible. All of our photos looked natural and perfect (she was even willing to stay past her time to photograph our exit at the end of the night!) Franzi is amazing!! She is very kind and professional and an excellent communicator. We had to make several changes to our wedding because of COVID-19 and she was extremely flexible and understanding. Franzi is a very TALENTED photographer! She is also fun, friendly, professional, and very down to earth! Yes, I have seen her STUNNING portfolio, but more than that, I have seen Franzi in ACTION! Her photos are AMAZING, but its in the field and on location where Franzi really shines. She has a great personality and knows how to gently work with her clients. Franzi took our engagement pictures at Shadow Creek. Aside from the obvious talent she has for photography, she was amazing to work with. She made my fiancé and I feel so comfortable and as if one of our friends was doing our shoot. I was blown away with joy when we got our pictures. Thank you Franzi for everything!
