Our mission is to enrich lives in every way – physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially – through the transformative power of dance. The wedding dance is one of the most popular programs offered by Fred Astaire Dance Studios. In fact, our studio was recently featured on national television for our training for wedding couples. As this is the first dance for the rest of your life together, we put a great deal of attention and detail into helping you select music and choreography to make the moment truly magical. When choreographing a wedding dance, we take into consideration the couple's personality, the music, the size of the dance floor, and the time constraints of the couple. We can instruct you in a number of social dances as well to ensure that you will always feel comfortable dancing the night away. Every effort is made to ease the couple's anxiety and enhance one of the most special days of their lives. There are a few dance styles to choose from, including your first dance, a father-daughter and mother-son dance, and a wedding party routine. Each one can be tailored to your preferences, whether you want to learn a few simple steps or a fully choreographed routine. Fred Astaire is an amazing dance studio and has been a great experience! My fiancé and I started taking lessons for our wedding. They really take the time to individualize dances to fit personal style, skills, and comfort level. Ivan has been a wonderful instructor! He is talented, patient, and to top it off - funny! I can’t say enough good things about our time there. Highly recommend!

Not being dancers, we were definitely nervous but after our first lesson, we realized…wow that was really FUN. We worked mostly with Ivan but also had a few lessons with Valeria. They are both extremely patience, upbeat & positive. They could anticipate our needs week to week both at a skill level, and with the stress of wedding planning, emotionally. We’d have absolutely ZERO hesitations in highly recommending Fred Astaire in Cranberry to anyone thinking about dance lessons. We feel very confident going into our wedding in a couple weeks and can’t wait to put the lessons to work on the dance floor!

We had a great experience with Ivan and Valeria. They are incredibly skilled dancers and excellent instructors. We learned a lot, and it was challenging at times, but it was much more enjoyable than I anticipated. They are upbeat, personable, and will make you feel comfortable, even if you are a beginner (as we were). I highly recommend, they are top notch professionals.

We had the pleasure of working with Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Cranberry to craft our first dance for our wedding, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. Our instructors, Ivan and Valeria, are world-class dancers, having won multiple national and world dance championships. Despite their incredible accolades, they are so humble and approachable that you would never know just by talking to them. Valeria was our primary instructor, and she was incredibly patient, kind, and professional throughout the entire process. She made us feel comfortable, even as we were learning something completely new. Ivan was always on hand to offer support and guidance if Valeria was busy, ensuring that we always had the help we needed. Their teamwork and dedication were outstanding. They went above and beyond by helping us edit our dance music, making sure our first dance was truly perfect. The attention to detail and personal care they provided made all the difference, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. In addition to their fantastic instruction, Fred Astaire Cranberry offers monthly parties where you can showcase your dancing skills in a fun and supportive environment. On one of our visits, a coach from Dancing with the Stars was there, and my fiancé was absolutely starstruck! We couldn’t recommend Fred Astaire Cranberry more highly. The best experience for any novice! My now husband and I took lessons with no experience for a choreographed first dance. Valeria and Ivan both are amazing instructors. They will ensure to collaborate with you so you get exactly what you want! If you are in a time crunch, they are very flexible and will work with almost any time frame. If you are debating it, take the chance and you won’t regret it!

Ivan and Valeria are INCREDIBLE dancers and teachers. They gave us all of the confidence to perform at our wedding. We learned an individualized choreographed dance special for us. We had such a blast that we are looking at taking lessons after our wedding.

My fiancé and I wanted a choreographed first dance for our wedding but didn’t know where to start. Fred Astaire Dance Studio worked with us on creating a schedule so that we would have plenty of time to perfect our routine. I had previous dance experience, but my fiancé had none, and by the fifth class we were doing moves I never imagined we could do together. They have been very professional throughout the whole process and have helped us create a fun and exciting first dance. I recommend this dance studio not only for their patience, but for the high quality training you will receive.
