In just a short amount of time, our certified Dance Instructors can help you learn a few basic steps or, if you have more time, choreograph the whole dance with you!

We are so happy we chose to take dance lessons at Fred Astaire for our first dance. Our instructor, Francesca, was incredibly kind, knowledgeable and patient! We were not natural dancers, but she helped us understand what it would take to pull off a great first dance. She choreographed a personalized routine to our song, which made our first dance really special! When we had a last minute limitation to our dance routine due to the style of wedding dress, she thought of a perfect alternative and helped us practice so we didn't miss a beat on the big day! All of our guests truly enjoyed it and we had so much fun both learning and performing it. Thank you!

I had always dreamed of doing a beautiful, romantic first dance at my wedding, and with the help of Lauren at Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Frederick, it happened!! Lauren was super responsive, very sweet and so much fun to work with. She made us feel at ease and very comfortable as we learned moves we had never done before! We had a ton of fun and were so proud to debut our beautiful dance at our wedding this past weekend! We are grateful we stumbled across this dance studio in Frederick, and we would highly recommend this dance company to anyone who is looking to prepare for a special dance or just have fun learning a new hobby! They were fantastic, and we are excited to dance at other events and weddings in the near future!!!
