My (now) husband and I went to Fred Astaire to learn how to dance for our wedding. We had found a groupon for a great deal for 5 short sessions. They rolled them up into 2 longer sessions, which was much better for us! We worked with Elizabeth and she is just incredible! We liked her so much we ended up signing up for the wedding program with her. That way we could learn everything we needed to before our big day. She choreographed our entrance and ending for us, as well as taught as a bunch of different moves to incorporate into the song. Everyone in the studio is SO nice! They all stopped what they were doing to watch us on our last day, which was a great run-through for the big day! We even found it to be something we really enjoy doing, so we have turned it into a regular date night! We are still getting rave reviews about how great our first dance was (3 weeks later)!

We went to Fred Astaire and created an awesome first dance! We got a free coupon from our venue for 1 45minute session. The first session was mostly a sales pitch, but I went home and found a groupon for 5 sessions. We ended up going 9 times all together (even though we lived over an hour away). We had so much fun going on date nights before the wedding to the dance studio! Our instructor was Stephanie who was very high energy and created a customized dance for us that coordinated with the music and was simple enough for us to learn as beginners. It was nice to have a coreographed first dance so we didn't feel like it was awkward or boring for our guests. We even went to a Friday night "party" where they let us practice for everyone so we weren't so nervous for the wedding! Everyone was so nice and supportive of us, even though we were beginners! We had so much fun we want to continue to go and learn more dances!

We went to a few classes, and had a basic dance put together for our first dance. It was extremely laid back, they fit us in when we could make it, and we were so comfortable wheb it was time for our first dance. We both are really glad we went.

Our dance teacher was very nice and excited to help us figure out a dance for our wedding. My fiance had no dance experience at all and she was very patient and encouraging.
