They even let us bring all 5 of our kids in for a lesson to bring the whole dance together! We can't wait to go back to take some more lessons just for fun!

e. As beginners we were welcomed by the owners, staff, and members. Dance lessons were a great way to relieve stress, have fun with your partner and other dancers, and to take on a new hobby. We had private lessons but also had the opportunity to take group lessons that focused on other dance styles. The staff there will welcome you like you're old friends. They will not let you fail. They prepare you for your dance as if you were riding a bike - first with your training wheels, and then they slowly train you to dance on your own. Our lessons gave us the confidence to perform our first dance in front of our entire wedding. Also included in our private lessons were social dances that we used throughout the reception. A few guests that knew we took lessons came up to us and said they were signing up as soon as they got home. We enjoyed our lessons at FADS Manasquan so much that we plan to continue our private and group lessons there.

d really knew how to describe the dance steps in a way that really resonated with each of us. Did we dance perfectly at our wedding - certainly not!!, but we did well enough and we had fun and I know for sure that we looked GREAT out there. And the dip at the end of the first dance was magical!!! Thank you Dana it was a blast and we will definitely be back for more lessons!

about taking lessons, we were in the process of chickening out until we received the gift! It turned out wonderful! We had such a great time at Fred Astaire with Dana and Chelsi and the rest of the crew! They were so kind and really took the time to get to know us. They also worked around our schedules. Our lessons were always late, after dinner, around 8:30, and the staff was always ready to go, letting us run late and practice a little extra, talking to us about our whole wedding planning process and even helping us with dinner recommendations for our Disney honeymoon! We pretty much have four left feet between the two of us and we had picked "You're My Best Friend" by Queen, which is fairly uptempo, for our first dance. Dana taught us the basics of the foxtrot and swing, and then helped us master a routine for the wedding. We took about 10 lessons in total over the course of seven or so months and we had a blast. I've gone to another class at the studio, and we are even considering continuing lessons if the finances allow. By the time we got to the wedding, we knew exactly what we needed to do and at the reception we nailed it, dip and all! We couldn't wait to share a picture and the news with Dana, who we had spent so much time with learning all the steps. If you are getting married, I recommend taking dance lessons--we really bonded and spent a lot of time laughing at lessons--it was a great experience. And if you are in the area, definitely go to Fred Astaire of Manasquan, you won't be sorry!

structors are pleasant and upbeat and encouraging, and especially Dana and Christian, who helped teach us basic ballroom steps and choreograph a flirty and fun first dance in only FIVE lessons. They accommodated our crazy schedules and laughed along with us as emotions were running high only days before our wedding, and we can't thank them enough. It was such a joy for us to find time for each other (through dance lessons) leading up to the wedding day, and I would highly recommend this studio to anyone who is looking to get more comfortable for their first dance, or anyone who is looking to learn basic ballroom. I hope we'll be going back periodically in the future! Now, my husband and I catch ourselves dipping and twirling and box-stepping when the radio's on in the kitchen!

na was fantastic, has a great smile and sense of humor. The other staff was also very friendly and inviting. They also had group classes and social events which were very fun, and helpful in the learning process. We hope to return for more lessons in the future!
