He even helped us and found a better version of the song we wanted (original: Fly Me to the Moon, new: Fly Me to the Moon/Lucky mashup)! Sergei did so well in teaching us that he even let us use our last lesson to help teach my father how to dance so we wouldn't flub the Father-Daughter dance. I can't express how thankful we are to have found this studio. The people are so welcoming and astounding. If you want to impress your friends and family I highly recommend coming here!

my husband by getting a Groupon for Fred Astaire. I had been reading all of the brides saying how choreographing their first dance was one of the best decisions they made. I figured we could try out a lesson with the Groupon and decide if we wanted to fully commit or not. If worse came to worse, I figured we had fun taking a couple of lessons. Of course we loved our first appointment with Sergei and immediately booked our weekly sessions with him! We procrastinated a bit so we started about two months out from our wedding. When I called she kindly told me that we better get moving if we wanted to be ready for our wedding day. lol. We were looking to merge two songs together into one dance. We gave Sergei the time stamps of the songs and he arranged a beautiful dance for us with the perfect blend of both songs. We worked hard week after week and felt like contestants on dancing with the stars. Once Sergei suggested we video ourselves and watch it in between visits, it made a huge difference! It was very difficult remembering if we were doing the steps correctly just from our memory. We continued to add on new sections week after week until we finally put everything together. The week leading up to our wedding we did a practice run in front of everyone at the studio that night. It was very stressful with everyone watching us but fun. The whole idea is to get you used to people watching you perform the dance. I really wanted Sergei to be there on our wedding night like you would see your childhood dance instructor on the side of the stage at your dance recital. lol. He was there in spirit! My husband had a heart attack when he saw how ginormous my wedding gown was. He said, "how are we going to do this with this dress?!?!?!" I told him that I showed Sergei from the beginning and that we should be able to make it happen! lol I think we did Sergei proud! If it wasn't for COVID, we could have gone to show him our video by now! We highly recommend Fred Astaire Dance Studio. They are all extremely professional and hard-working. They work with you to pay for your lessons as you go versus one lump sum when you sign your contract. They put the music together for you and create a dance perfect for you and your dance partner. Sergei was kind, patient and professional as he worked with us to be the best dancers we could be. He is absolutely the best! Thank you so much, Sergei!

ience and Alexi was VERY patient with him. Alexi was very polite and funny. He made the whole dance lesson more enjoyable and we ended up sweeping everyone away with our dance. We were nervous about our performance in front of the whole studio, but it definitely helped to calm our nerves for the big day. Everyone there, including Dasha , was so nice and welcoming to the studio. I have already recommended my sister-in-law and her fiance and would recommend again!

Fred Astaire Dance studio completely blew away our expectations. They created a custom choreographed dance for us, edited the music we could give to our DJ, and helped us every "step" of the way :) We had a lesson once a week for 3 months until the wedding. The end result completely exceeded our expectation and all of our guests were so surprised and delighted. Everyone at Fred Astaire completely went above and beyond what we would have expected by making us ALWAYS feel welcomed (when it can be intimidating to be around such talented dancers). They always welcomed us to the dance floor for practice time and to their monthly parties in the studio where everyone can dance together. Both my father and I are hoping to continue with lessons in the future at this studio because it's an amazing environment. Their professionalism & kindness during this experience will never be forgotten. Sergi you rock!! Thank you again!!

With Dashas expertise she put together a special father daughter dance that we could both do and also had fun learning at the same time. Doing this definitely was a great choice and a lot of fun. However, after our first lesson with Alex, I was eager to come back and take on more lessons to develop the entire choreography for our first dance! Alex was a very patient, funny, and overall positive dance instructor to us. Thanks to him, I have a newfound appreciation for dancing!

We had a chance to take lessons with all three of these amazing instructors and we were absolutely thrilled with our experience each time. They listened to our song and put together a beautiful dance for us. With each lesson, our confidence soared, thanks to their great coaching. Leading up to our big day, they edited our song to the the appropriate length for the DJ and drilled us on our steps until we could do it in our sleep. My wife and I are stressful people but one thing we did not stress about was our dance! Please please please take these lessons leading up to your big day! It will be some of the most fun you have and also an intimate escape with your loved one during such a hectic time. Thank you Dasha, Dmitry and Alex! We will be back for more!

with the studio Jess was our teacher. They quickly had a dance plan for us . Not only did we learn our wedding dance we also learned social dance steps to use for every day. We did a total of 10 dance lessons in a little over a month. They were very flexible with our schedules and having evening hours really helped us get our lessons in. Would highly reccomend.
