Ashley was amazing! Really made our first dance special. Don’t hesitate, everyone can use a little help and it’s just fun in general!

Come for the wedding dance, stay for the exercise, fun, community, and relationship building! Whether you’re looking to learn a few simple moves for your big day, or you want an over the top choreographed routine (like us!) we’d recommend FADS memorial. We came in a month before our big day with a tall order—a great routine to a really fast song...and our only experience dancing together was a sloppy country bar two step. But the team worked their magic and our teachers, Bence and Ashley, choreographed and taught us a routine that blew our guests away! 2 years later, our friends and family are still raving about it. We enjoyed our experience so much, we decided to continue lessons after our big day. We’ve now done routines featuring west coast swing (wedding), Texas 2 step, tango, rumba, waltz, Viennese waltz, cha cha, jive and we’re now we’re working on a samba routine. In addition to being great for our physical health (bride: my legs got so beautifully toned for our wedding! And our posture has improved and we get cardio work from the faster routines) it’s been great for our relationship. It’s taught us to communicate more effectively, see things from a new perspective, trust one another, and laugh together as we take on new challenges. Even as we struggled to do those things well at first, our teachers were so professional, diplomatic and helpful as we blamed each other for stepped on toes! We love the satisfaction we get from learning new dances, and how our teachers are always so supportive and encouraging. Every time they show us a new routine they’ve choreographed for us, we think, “that looks great! But how are WE gonna be able to move our bodies like that??” And yet, they manage to teach us brilliantly until it becomes second nature to us. The whole staff is very friendly and welcoming and the other students are so kind and supportive too. It’s really cool to see people come together with a shared passion. Jessi was an amazing instructor. We’ve never ballroom danced in our life’s & she had us looking like veterans in 3 lessons. Everyone at our wedding was super impressed. Jessi could not have been more helpful, patient & nice. We couldn’t recommend her more. 5 stars!
