Fred Astaire Dance Studios

We came to Fred Astaire Middletown to learn a dance to our wedding song, not knowing what to expect. Our dance Instructor, Andrew, instantly put us at ease, and made our lessons enjoyable. Andrew tailor made a dance to fit us, and it was perfect! Andrew has a good sense of humor, and we definitely laughed a lot. My wife is a little shy, and let’s just say by the end of the lessons, she couldn’t wait to show off what we learned. Our dance was a huge surprise & success at the wedding!! Would highly recommend!!

Fred Astaire was great at communicating with us, always punctual and making us feel at home. Our first dance was everything we wanted it to be!

Everyone at Fred Astaire are wonderful! We worked with Anne who is very patient with us. She was such a joy to work with! Taking the class was the only way I could get my husband to do a first dance. For us, it was more of getting the confidence rather than learning to dance perfect so it was truly worth it! We had fun in every class. Honestly, it’s the least stressful part of the wedding planning. In fact, it was the most fun part of the journey! We are looking to take more classes for future date nights ❤️

My husband and I had a covid wedding, so we got married and then a year later we had our big wedding. We wanted to do something fun and unique for our first dance and we couldn't be happier that we picked Fred Astaire! The entire team was wonderful to work with. It was super easy to set up our lesson schedule and rearrange any needed dates. We loved working with our instructor Annie, she was so helpful and patient with us. We are so thankful for the Fred Astaire team to make our wedding day extra special, all of our guests complimented our dance and it is something we will always remember!

My wife and I took private lessons here to get ready for our wedding in November of 2019. It started as a two lesson package to see how it would go and if it would be something we would like to do to add flare to the first dance. The first day we met our dance instructor, Annie Rockhill, and she was extremely nice and welcoming to us. We told her our expectations & what we were looking for out of this. She was beyond fantastic in helping us learn the basics of our first dance and taking the time to make sure we got the steps down before moving forward. After the two lessons were done, we realize we wanted to go all in for our wedding dance and worked with Annie to make it the best it could be - and she did! She helped us continue to grow and learn our first dance and continue to push us with new moves and additions for our first dance to add more flare. As we started to lock down the routine and working with Annie, we just continue to get more and more excited to show off our new moves at the wedding! And on top of learning our first dance, we were able to take part in difference style of dance classes to expand our dancing knowledge and skill as well as join in the weekly dance parties where you can practice and have fun in a more relaxed, casual atmosphere. All the instructors are they to help out if your practicing something new or to hone in a particular dance. Also, its a great way to mingle with other dancers in the studio and learn from them as well! The staff at Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Middletown are just so enthusiastic to help your learn and have fun! Annie was and is an incredible instructor and a beyond amazing person! We were so lucky to have her as our dance instructor for our first dance! We could not have wowed our guest the way we did without her help! Recommend going down to the studio and give it a shot! Its a great time and worth trying something new for the special day.
