Our professionally trained instructors specialize in taking brand new students through the basics to get you comfortable dancing with your partner. We format your dance lessons to allow you to enjoy yourselves and each other while gaining new skills and confidence to look your best on your special day.
We encourage all couples to start with social dancing basics in order to get you two comfortable dancing together, but also to help you decide which dance(s) you may want to use in your first dance.
We take into account all the details of your special day when creating your personalized first dance – including venue location, size, layout, potential camera and videographer angles, wedding dress, shoe types, and more. Taking these details into account ensures you will have a stress free and cohesive result, helping to make your first dance a once in a lifetime experience that is completely unforgettable.

I cannot recommend Fred Astaire Dance Studio enough for wedding dance lessons.
As a former (long time ago) dancer and a fiancé with no prior dance experience, my fiancé and I were initially nervous about our ability to learn a dance routine for our wedding. However, Cristiana quickly put us at ease with her clear instruction and encouraging feedback.
The studio itself provided a comfortable environment with spacious dance floors and excellent instructors. The flexibility in scheduling lessons was also a huge plus, allowing us to fit sessions into our busy wedding planning and work schedule.
Most importantly, Cristiana tailored the lessons to our specific needs and desires for our wedding dance. She helped us choose a song that suited our style and skill level, and then choreographed a beautiful routine that exceeded our expectations. She also became a friend we looked forward to seeing at our lessons. Fred Astaire New Berlin is a great studio!

Sasha helped me and my brother choreograph a dance to do instead of a father daughter dance. We wanted a fun vibe and got it while dancing to Never Gonna Give You Up! He managed such a good balance of impressive moves while keeping it fun and almost silly and everyone was clapping for us afterwards. Really just did an amazing job and would definitely recommend dance lessons even if you just plan on doing the middle school sway during your first dance.

My fiancé and I went to Fred Astaire New Berlin for our lessons before the wedding. We were able to learn some social dancing that we have so much fun with but also we learned a choreographed dance for our first dance together. We’ve been using this as a date night experience leading up to the wedding and we couldn’t be happier with our instructor Sasha. He is very encouraging and fun to work with.

Sasha has been our instructor and he’s been amazing. We signed up for this expecting to learn a proper first dance and in addition to that he is setting us up with general dance skills we will have for the rest of our life. Of all the money we’ve spent on our wedding, we can confidently say this is one of the few things that we can carry with us for the rest of our life.
