Joanna, Chad, and Beth did a fantastic job in preparing us for our first dance. The lessons leading up to our wedding were a lot of fun, as we developed a rumba routine and learned...
swing for the fast songs. These lessons brought us closer together as a couple and made us confident on our wedding day. It was really special to impress our friends and family through what we learned at Fred Astaire.
Really enjoyed working with the Beth and Chad. Both were very helpful and had different pointers on how to learn the steps. Pleasant environment and easy to schedule lessons. Pr...
iced better than other studios in the area. We were able to go to group dance parties and learn other styles of dance than what we were using in our first dance choreography. We were also always welcomed to come in at a non-lesson time to practice and get help if needed.
My husband and I had no dance experience. We were terrified of the first dance. Beth took great care of us and taught us exactly what we needed to do! They cut our music and gave u...
s a basic understanding of what dance was. We are now going to be booking lessons just to spend more time with Beth and learn what she has to say about a few other steps. So excited!
Very pushy to get you to keep buying dance packages.

nd after 2 lessons, my then fiance went from "This is stupid" to "I guess it's not too bad". After another few lessons, he finally admitted that he secretly enjoyed it. Our instructor was Casey, she was very nice and patient with us. She had our first dance song cut for us and designed a rumba routine for us. Now my husband is pretty good for someone with no experience after less than 10 lessons.
The only thing that we didn't like too much was the confusion in the packages we bought, it seems that the way they worked was changing several times, or maybe things were simply not well communicated to us.
My husband and I are fun upbeat people and didn't want to do a slow dance as our 1st dance. We learned a intro and finale for the dance and worked on the moves that we could interc...
hange because we didn't want to learn a complete choreographed dance. With the mix of private and group lessons we were able to learn moves and work on our technique and we are dancing even after the wedding. My husband wants to get married again so we can do our 1st dance again!
Very fun and helpful for beginners
We enjoyed our dance classes but struggled a bit as the instructions changed several times for us. Everytime we got a new instructor (4 in all) we got to start at the beginning wi...
th them--each had their own focus and what they thought was most important. Still, I enjoyed learning to dance with my husband.
we did a groupon for the fred astaire dance studio and it was a lot of fun. We enjoyed our first dance with our new moves!
