We took advantage of a 2 lesson intro package and luckily that was all we needed because classes after that were wicked expensive and not budget friendly.
We learned how to do a simple waltz and two types of turns. We got a lot of compliments at the wedding (because most people had seen us dance prior to the lessons! haha).
The service was great and we had a really awesome instructor.
My husband and I took dance lessons at the Glastonbury location. Alex was our instructor. He was patient, knowledgable, and made us smile every lesson. The dance lessons were a fun way to connect with my husband every week, free from wedding stress. Evan and Katie, are great managers/owners. They are upbeat and will work with your budget. We loved this studio.
My wife and I took lessons at Fred Astaire in Glastonbury CT with Evan Wellemeyer. He took us on as a sample lesson and we fell in love with going. A journey that started as a way to look better than "high school" swaying at our wedding turned into a passion for all ballroom dance. We danced for 6-8 months before we even began our First Dance choreography. This allowed us to be experienced and gave Evan a chance to really stretch to some fun limits. By the end of our dance at the reception, not a single person was sitting and very few eyes were dry. I cannot recommend this studio enough. Shout out to Evan and Kate!
