Fred is a wonderful gentleman and great photographer. He is very knowledgeable about weddings and was vital to us having a wonderful wedding. He pointed out things that we never even thought about and made suggestions that greatly improved the wedding. The photos and edits done by him were very nice. He was able to do everything we wanted and more.

To say that Fred turned our perception of wedding photographers around would be a drastic understatement. From our first meeting, Fred made our wedding feel important. He strikes this incredible balance between being a consummate professional while also making you feel like you're just making plans for the weekend with a friend. Right off the bat, Fred wanted to know and cared about what we, as a couple, wanted. He was able to outline how most ceremonies go (literally down to 5-minute chunks), provide best practices for getting the shots we wanted, and help guide us in avoiding common issues he'd run across during his time in the business. My partner and I are very detail-oriented people, and Fred was willing to get down to the minutes with us on things like: - How long would a shot take - How would that fit into the overall flow of the wedding - Where we could carve out time to get those special moment photos - When would we be sick of having formal photos taken of us All of which we both appreciated greatly. As an added unexpected bonus, Fred is INCREDIBLY knowledgeable about the Pittsburgh scene. We were so impressed by Fred's process that we booked him for our engagement photos, where we thoroughly enjoyed not only his commitment to getting the best photos on a close to 100-degree day but also his random tidbits of knowledge about the surrounding area. It really helped keep the process fun on an otherwise oppressively hot day. Really though, all of these things are just side shows (seriously) to Fred's two greatest strengths: His ability to be invisible while taking photos and how he lets you be in the moment. Fred and his team do a phenomenal job of not interrupting what you're doing to try and get a good shot, and he does what needs to be done to ensure that shot is captured. Trust me, I've seen him pull off some real beach model poses off to the side on the floor to get the right angle. Say one thing about Fred, he’s a man committed to getting the shot. Also, how he manages not to be in the way is downright spooky. So much so that when we were showing these photos to our families, most of them could not remember seeing him or Lucia (his second photographer) anytime after the ceremony, and yet we had HUNDREDS of photos to prove that, not only was he there, but he was doing a bang-up job the whole time. Fred photographed my wedding on August 20th, 2022 and he did a phenomenal job! You can see here how awesome his photos are, so I'll mention some of the other stuff. Fred was extremely well prepared for our wedding day, from helping us organize our list of desired photos ahead of time by meeting with me, my husband, and our mothers 1-2 times leading up to the wedding to being ready with a sewing kit not once but TWICE during the day when our best man's pants ripped (oops) and then the strap of my dress needed repaired! Fred is incredibly kind, personable, and not to mention very talented and knowledgeable about his craft and the wedding industry as a whole. A lot of our wedding day was spent with out closest friends and family, and Fred did a wonderful job capturing all of the moments that made the day. I definitely recommend him for your wedding!

We were married at Niagara Falls and hired Fred for our large reception in Pennsylvania with all our friends and family. Fred Vero surpassed our expectations, not only with the amazing photographs he captured at our reception and another session we had with him prior to it, but with how much he cared about our story behind it all before we even chose him as our photographer. From the moment we first reached out to him, he was attentive and responsive to any questions we had and made us feel like family through our conversations. He goes above and beyond, capturing not only what you request or expect to have pictures of that day, but also hits all the tiny things that you will miss because you are so busy. Our experience with Fred was beyond amazing and we highly recommend him as a wedding reception photographer, surprise (adoption) announcement photographer, and engagement photographer; however, we are sure that he will excel in whatever session he chooses to take on!

I hired Fred in the summer of 2021 for a September 2022 wedding. He did our engagement photos in Oct 2021 at our venue and they turned out wonderful. I loved his brighter colored photos with small tweaks that didn’t look overly edited. He was very attentive through the entire wedding planning process. He started by giving me ideas on engagement photo locations which we decided to do it at my venue which I loved. He was very informative about small details to think about which was super helpful. He stayed in contact with me through the months between our engagement photos and leading up to the wedding which I really appreciated. We met in person multiple times where he actually helped up form our timeline and went over it multiple times to make sure everyone was on track, as well as called the night before the wedding to double check everything was still how we planned. He went above and beyond helping plan and give ideas I didn’t even think about that needed to be done the day of. We had a fairly large list of portraits which he asked for prior to the wedding and although we had a rowdy group of groomsmen, he did wonderfully keeping everyone on track and getting the large list of photos I requested which turned out better than I could imagine. We also had a fairly larger guest list at the reception and he was able to get a group photo which him and our DJ coordinated to get and I will cherish that forever. I would recommend to any bride because of his beautiful photos and because he was one vendor I never had to worry about, knew he’d show up and do wonderfully like he did and got our photos back to us with no issues!

When my now husband and I hired Fred for our August 6th wedding he has been so easy to work with and made the wedding planning process so much easier. He was recommended to us by a mutual friend. He answered all of our questions and was very patient. We hired him as our photographer and we got a friendship too. The day of our wedding he was prompt and very professional. He took mine and my husbands needs top priority. You will not be disappointed when you hire Fred Vero! Highly recommend.

Fred was the best and more. Before our wedding he took time to meet with us, have dinner with us and provided knowledge to make our planning easier. He went above and beyond his “job description”. From the start of our planning Fred was accommodating to each of our requests. He showed us great examples and we learned of his commitment to his profession upon our first meeting. We were sold right away. Even through the pandemic rescheduling our wedding, Fred kept in touch to make sure things were well. We finally reached our wedding day and Fred was on point the whole time. I cannot rate Fred and his photography talents high enough!!!! We chose to pursue a smaller outdoor style wedding due to the pandemic. Fred made sure to find out as much possible before even shooting pictures the day of—our time line for the day, any special shots that we wanted, details of our decor, etc. He was so helpful to even give suggestions, such as making sure the ceremony piece wasn’t in position with the sun to cause us to squint during our vows. Fred made us feel so at ease in front of the camera. He had no problem getting down on the ground to get the perfect shot!!! And he walked all over the property to capture the beautiful fall foliage for us. He never stopped!! I love the moments that he captures when you don’t even realize he is snapping pictures! His photo editing is of superb quality, too!! He is a top of the line photographer with a fantastic personality!! My entire family was impressed with him; very professional and personable. He was more than a photographer; more like family!! I will absolutely request him for future photo shoots in the future for special occasions. Fred Vero was AMAZING to work with!!! He shot my sister's wedding 6 years ago and I was so impressed that I had to have him for our wedding! So glad we did! Fred was on top of everything! Fred was fantastic! We were able to set up a meet and greet with him quickly, and he was well prepared for it. He brought us a ton of examples, talked us through options, and gave advice. He has so much experience that he knew where to build in extra time for photos (like that we would need more time for pictures of us getting ready than I was anticipating), travel, etc. On the day of our wedding he was prompt and professional, and we ended up paying him to stay longer which he was so nice about. Having Fred as our photographer gave me peace of mind that not even our wedding coordinator had provided. All that, plus the pictures are gorgeous! He really captured our day well, and we really couldn't be happier. It did take about two months to get all of our photos - but that's because he was working on them and many other weddings at the same time (he's in high demand). The results were definitely worth the wait! I would absolutely recommend using Fred!

I seriously cannot explain how awesome and accommodating Fred was! I broke my foot three weeks before the wedding and he was so helpful with suggestions and everything that I asked or wanted he made sure to listen to me and was open to everything. He actually brought me a stool to the church in case I wasn’t able to stand through the entire church service. Bottom Line: Beautiful work! We hired Fred based on the recommendation of our wedding coordinator and we're so grateful we did! Fred took the time to meet with my husband (fiance at the time!) to discuss what types of photographs we wanted (and didn't want). He was extremely thorough and professional. He takes great pride in his work, as he should! We got the basic package (we're minimalists) but the quality of the photos was outstanding! He captured some really beautiful moments, and like all great wedding photographers he was neither seen nor heard. We were extremely fortunate that Fred was available for our wedding. You absolutely will not regret hiring this man to document one of the most important days of your life!

Fred was amazing to work with and our engagement pictures came out better than I could have ever expected! My fiance and I are both in the aviation industry so we wanted to do something different and chose a vintage airplane on airport property as our back drop. Fred did a spectacular job photographing us as well as the plane and truly was able to capture "us". We live out of state and he was extremely flexible with our plans and very easy to reach/ work with. I would recommend him as a photographer to anyone who is looking to get professional images done!

Fred was a pleasure to work with during the whole process! He was very thoroughly in making sure we understood all the details, as well as, making sure he had all the details he needed to make our day perfect! He did a wonderful job of just being in the moment. There was never a moment when I felt he was making us pose or directing us to make sure he got the shots he wanted during the day. He provided us with an ample number of pictures to easily review on his website after the fact. He stayed in consistent communication with us throughout it all. His work was so beautiful, the country club where our venue was hired him to do additional work. Overall, he really took the time to get to know us as a couple and made sure he did his research when it came to the church and venue. Fred was absolutely incredible. From our very first meeting with him, it was clear that he knew what he was doing and would be perfect for documenting our big day. He made us feel super comfortable during our engagement photo sessions (which is difficult, given my natural awkwardness and general dislike for being in front of cameras) and was amazingly discreet during our ceremony and reception - I don't think I noticed him at all during the ceremony. His photos also came out amazing!! Despite having some barriers (thank you, Pittsburgh city traffic) we were able to get all the shots we wanted and more. Fred was the photographer for my wedding July 15th, 2017 and he was awesome to work with. I don't have my wedding pictures yet but I have no problem giving Fred 5 stars! My husband and I had a fantastic experience with Fred during our engagement pictures and they turned out stunning. So I have no doubt our wedding pictures will be anything but perfect. He LOVES what he does, so he takes extra special care of his clients and makes sure he knows what you want! He communicates well and very quickly and his shots are amazing! I would recommend him to ANYONE!!!

Fred was absolutely outstanding! He was suggested to us through our venue and we are so glad we chose him! From day one he was very informative and cared very deeply about what we wanted for our wedding photos. He was so responsive to messages and on the day of the wedding captured everything we wanted! Not only did he capture the big moments, he took the time to capture all the small details that you are so busy you don't get to see on your wedding day. All our guest mentioned how great of a job he did because he was always right there in the action capturing moments! He's truly a genuine person and does such amazing work.
