Fredericks Photo and Films

e next thing on my list was photography. I wanted someone who not only had great group shots, but also detailed shots and black and white. Communication with them was easy and fluid. We had a facetime date to make sure all of us were on the same page and had the same goal. My now husband is in a wheelchair and we wanted to make sure they were comfortable with that and even up for some of the smaller challenges. They were! We had our engagement pictures done at the beach, it took some time and effort but they were so happy to work with us. As for our wedding day, they checked in a few times before the big day to answer any questions and have a game plan ready. Shawna worked closer with the girls while Chris worked with the guys before the ceremony. Everyone felt comfortable around them and almost like they were friends for decades. Getting in some good laughs during pictures. We received a few sneak peaks already and I am obsessed. I cannot wait to see the rest. As for our future, I know who I'll be calling if we need more family pictures done.

hem around. They are truly a great bang for your buck! We only had a brida suite at the venue so my husband had to get dressed with his groomsmen at the hotel. Shawna stayed with me and the bridesmaids to get content while Chris met at the hotel to capture the guys getting ready. They kept to our tight schedule with ease and worked together to get some amazing shots. Before the big day they send a questionnaire a few weeks out that helps them capture your vision for the day ahead of time. So glad we decided to go with them and would love to do something again with them in the future! Highly recommend you hire them!

ked us through all of our package options and even allowed us to add video of our ceremony, speeches, and dances at the last minute. They provide an excellent value for the quality and quantity of images they provide. My husband was a bit shy and uncomfortable with getting his picture taken, but Shawna and Chris made him feel comfortable and helped him loosen up! They really tried to get to know us and get a feel for who we are and what we wanted our photos to look like. They learned about us as people and our relationship, and I feel like that is captured in our photos. The photos feel genuine, not posed. I also loved that they weren't overly serious which allowed us (and our friends and family) to loosen up and have fun throughout our wedding day. Their photography is stunning and vibrant - not overly washed out - which is exactly what we wanted. They were receptive to our ideas about where we wanted our photos, and what we wanted them to look like. During our engagement pictures, we went to several different locations throughout colonial Williamsburg and even had an outfit change! We also recently received the videos of our wedding day (it was a super quick turn around!) and they are also stunning and perfectly captured. I can't wait to watch the video of our ceremony for years to come.
