Free Edge Studio is a beauty-based company led by licensed nail technician and certified makeup artist Jillian Schiavo. Although Free Edge Studio is newly founded and based out of Poughkeepsie, NY, Jillian has been working in the Mid-Hudson Valley Area since 2012. Taking pride in the ability to adjust to different tasks at hand, she views every person as a blank canvas. Learning her crafts at Christine Valmy International School of Esthetics & Skincare, Temptu Inc., and Brow Design International, she has molded into the artist she is today. She also holds an OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Certificate.

Jillian was incredible this weekend and was so patient with all of the women and kids getting their makeup done. She did a beautiful job on everyone. I loved my wedding day makeup ...

so much. It came out perfectly!! Prior to our wedding day, Jillian also went above and beyond to help me find a hair stylist. Without her help of finding someone, my wedding day would have been a million times more stressful.

Jillian was such a joy to work with throughout my time creating my bridal look! She is so knowledgeable in her makeup and is a true talent. She is great with answering my questions...

and gives guidance and suggestions when needed. She is so professional with her work, bringing her makeup light, makeup chair and a whole artillery of makeup palettes and supplies! I am not one to wear a lot of makeup, but Jillian's coverage for my wedding day was absolutely perfect. It was breathable, light but held the whole day and made me feel like a true fairy princess. Jillian is so good in her trade and would be perfect to be a part of any bride/grooms wedding day. Plus she does amazing nails too if you need that as well!

rt. I had no ideas when I first met with her. I told her I don’t like a lot of makeup and I wanted to look as natural as possible. I trusted her professional option and she did not disappoint. Everything was perfect! She worked so well with my hair stylist to get myself and my bridal party done on a strict deadline. She has extremely reasonable prices and she was worth every penny! 10/10 definitely recommend! (ps. go with the airbrush! it was 87 degrees and I got married outside… it’s sweat-proof and didn’t run at all)
