nal and meaningful to me. Having grown up going to Cape May over summers I knew I wanted to first try on dresses there with my mom and sister. It is a small boutique and that is Free Love's greatest asset. You are the only bride in the store. Where else can you possibly get that kind of experience wedding dress shopping, in a culture that has commoditized the entire industry? If anything, I was slightly afraid this place might be too "basic" for my tastes, but upon walking in I felt quite the contrary - the music was so calming and "vibey" and the girls were down to earth. Champagne and the most delicious cupcakes to boot - like, c'mon! It's perfect! I ended up getting the very first dress I tried on. Honestly and truly, shopping at Free Love was the highlight of the entire wedding planning experience. I've gone to a multitude of other wedding dress shops/boutiques with other girlfriends for their wedding dresses and they are all so envious of my experience at Free Love - and your friends will be, too, if you go there! SO GO THERE!

We started off by popping champagne and my guests got to enjoy delicious cupcakes while waiting for me to reveal my dress choices (Betsey nicely packed some up for me to enjoy later on, yum!!!!). There were to employees helping me get in and out of the gown which allowed me to spend more time showing the gown off then getting into it !! Free love allows you to choose as many gowns and does not rush or pressure you AT ALL! Which was very different from every other store I went to, which was amazing !! I was so happy that a friend recommended Free Love and I have since recommended it to many many of my friends getting married, it truly is the best store and experience !!

The girls + Betsy (the owner) are so kind and bubbly. They had helpful advice and an abundance of compliments that made me feel like a million bucks! I can’t recommend free love enough! Another great reason to go here is that it is in the charming downtown of Cape May! Go in with an open mind, I originally wanted an all white dress but the nude underlining really made the white lace pop. I got so many compliments on my dress! I wish they had another store with everything clothes just so I can shop there more!!! Do yourself a favor and book your appointment!!! :)

They are there to help you, support you and make you feel like the most beautiful bride. They do just that and a whole lot more, they get to know you on a personal level, are awesome with your entourage, and know when it’s the “one”. They helped style me head to toe from my dress, shoes, veil and jewelry (even when I wanted to change my jewelry 1 month before the wedding) THEY MADE IT HAPPEN. They even went into the shop over Easter break to make sure I had my jewelry. I have sent 4 friends to shop at Free Love and all 4 have bought a dress, that’s saying a lot! YOU CAN NOT GO WRONG!

t is gorgeous inside, and the moment we stepped in we were greeted by all of the lovely associates with champagne & cupcakes. Farrah is such a gem, her and all of the ladies that helped me that day & at my follow up appointment are just the best of the best. I never once felt rushed or pressured, we took our time with all of the dresses I tried on. They could read my body language and knew which dresses I loved and which ones I was not a fan of. They ended up picking out The ONE for me! I never would have picked it, they know exactly what they are doing- just put your trust in them! Betsy the owner is amazing, she is the sweetest and her team is a direct reflection of her knowledge & love of the bridal industry. This place is truly magical, all brides need to go here!

Going into it, I only had a very vague sense of what I thought I liked, which can be a bit overwhelming, as there are so many options. The staff at free love was amazing at listening to my feedback and reading my body language to help tailor the recommendations to what I liked. Even when I was unable to pin point what it was I liked or didnt like about a dress, they were fantastic at helping me figure it out. They helped find dresses that perfectly tied together all of the different features that I liked. They were continually pulling in new dresses based on how I was reacting, in the end it made i had a very difficult decision since there were so many beautiful options!

This was a day I had dreamed of since I was a little girl, and they managed to make it even better than I ever imagined. I told Betsy what style I thought I was looking for, but that I was open to trying other styles as well. The service they offer is professional and they are so friendly, making the atmosphere fun and comfortable. I highly recommend this shop and I tell everyone I know and meet who is getting married that this is the place they absolutely need to go!

When I said "this is it" I loved how I wasn't pressured into buying my dress. I was asked am I sure, and then we added the accessories that matched perfectly and I must say waterworks!!!
