Owner and officiant Tara will work with you to design a wedding ceremony that is unmistakably and authentically all about you and your person. Tara strives to deliver a service that is moving and personal to the couple at hand. Because of this, Tara takes the time to get to know you and your partner, enabling her to truly tailor the proceedings to you. She will work with you every step of the way with guidance on obtaining your wedding license, writing your vows, rehearsing for the big day, and more. Tara has been trained in public speaking, writing, and ritual celebration, and also holds a Master's Certification as a Humanist Celebrant. All of this combined has given her the skills to design a different ceremony for each and every couple, incorporating their personalities throughout. You are welcome to exchange your own vows in a ceremony style that reflects your union.

gious ceremony but we really wanted a meaningful one, and she delivered exactly that! Being one of the first women in my family not to have a church ceremony I was nervous of what everyone would think BUT to our surprise we got SO many compliments on our ceremony! Everyone was saying it was the most beautiful they’ve been to!! This would not have happened without Tara. We truly are so thankful to have met her & worked with her. My name is Tara Todd, Humanist Celebrant. My interest in weddings began years ago through more of the event planning lens, and I have long been ready and willing to tell anyone who would listen that I absolutely love love. This passion finally found it's outlet in celebrant work, and I began my journey to endorsement through the Celebrant Academy in 2021. I currently operate a boutique day spa as well as work in the wedding industry, but am enjoying every minute of celebrant work as I build my skills and my business to make Free Spirit Celebrants my full time, soul fulfilling career.
