Having a bilingual DJ who speaks both Portuguese and English made all the difference for our Brazilian and American guests. Everyone felt included, comfortable, and connected throughout the entire event. Jay was incredibly professional, friendly, and so easy to work with. The energy he brought, the music choices, and the way he read the crowd were outstanding. Our guests are still talking about how amazing everything was. I would recommend Jay without hesitation. From a young age, he was by his father’s side, helping set up equipment and watching crowds come to life on the dance floor. It was during those early years that he learned not only the technical side of DJing but also the power of creating memorable experiences. After the wedding, one of my family members experienced some significant health issues. She loved the playlist from our reception, so I asked Jay if he would be willing to share the music with me so we could brighten her spirits. He didn’t have our exact playlist that far after the wedding, so he instead offered to send us a flash drive with a selection of music he thinks she’d like. It’s the extra touches like this that make the difference between somebody you hire and somebody you are excited and happy to work with.

Jay, Marta, and the rest of the team were bouncing around taking videos and pictures of all our guests throughout the entire night and made everyone feel as special as my wife and I. The music during the ceremony and cocktail hour as well were the perfect mix that captured our ideas. e exceeded that expectation! He sent me a questionnaire to fill out with the timeline, songs for our dances, and songs/genres we would like to hear during the wedding. He is usually with his partner Marta, but she had to be at another event the day of our wedding. The two of them are a great team, but Jay Dee still killed it for our wedding! He kept EVERYONE on the dance floor. No one wanted to sit down because they were all having so much fun dancing the entire night. By the end of the night, everyone, including myself and my husband, were completely exhausted from dancing so much! He played exactly what we wanted to hear including Portuguese music, top hits, and some Spanish music. During the wedding, he also took some video content and shared it to his Instagram. Looking back at the content, it looked exactly how we wanted it to look like...A PARTY! So many of our guests told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I can't thank Jay Dee enough for putting on such a great night for us!
