ould customize. The cake itself was beautiful and absolutely delicious! We were able to do two different filling flavors with the cake and buttercream and it made for a really fun, spring-time cake. We got SO many compliments on the cake and we froze it and ate it for weeks after the wedding! We are so excited to get our anniversary mini cake on our first anniversary! We also got the eclairs and lemon bars from them which almost completely gone by the end of the night! Our cake did slide, as our venue was a few minutes past their recommended distance, and the planner who picked it up drove it for us, so our florist added some flowers to hide it, but you never would have known, and it still tasted incredible!

to order our wedding cake and dessert bar through them, for our wedding at Scribner Bend on 6/10/2023. The process was super straightforward. We did an at-home tasting to decide on what cake flavors and dessert bar items we wanted. We then had a phone consultation where we reviewed the ordering process, quantities of each item, and payment specifics. The paperwork and payments were exactly as expected. We ended up with more "yes" RSVPs than expected and Freeport was able to accommodate a larger cake and more dessert bar items than originally anticipated, with no fuss. Averi and Susan were so professional and knowledgeable. I never felt like they were trying to sell us more, and at the same time there was no issue when I asked to bump up the size of our order only a few weeks before the wedding. On the day of the wedding, the delivery was super smooth, with no involvement on our end. The cake looked exactly how we had requested, and tasted fantastic. We got the lemon poppyseed cake with strawberry cream filling and Italian buttercream frosting, which was perfect for a summer wedding. The dessert bar items (lemon bars, cream puffs, fruit tarts, two kinds of cookie) were devoured by our guests in record time. Every item was well received. I'm so glad that we ordered our wedding desserts through Freeport Bakery, and highly recommend them for anyone planning their wedding.

Bakery for several years as we were one of the many couples that rescheduled our wedding three times during the COVID 19 pandemic. Each time we rescheduled the bakery was more than supportive and understanding. They worked with us each year to confirm every little detail of the cake design and flavors. The cake was a perfect center piece to our special day. I couldn’t believe how the cake looked just as I imagined. And SO many compliments from the wedding guests on the delectable flavors. The staff was on time and very professional. We appreciate you Freeport Bakery!

Susan called us a few days later and we discussed our preferences and found out we could choose two flavors for our two-tiered cake (perfect considering my husband and I had different favorites) - the whole process was super easy and reasonably affordable. They were able to accommodate a somewhat last-minute change request from a pickup to a delivery. The cake was delicious and beautiful! Unfortunately, the first cut my husband and I made into the cake was right where the stick was to hold the two tiers together, so it made for a funny time trying to get our slice out. Overall, would recommend!

This was a month or so before the wedding. Made my wife cry. They didn’t have a box or anything to put the cake in when we picked it up...... rude and entitled staff.

Then they told us that our cake wasn't planned for pickup until the following day, even though we had the paperwork that said otherwise. They apologized, said they would have the cake ready in 30 minutes. Okay, that's fine. When we picked up the cake, the design was wrong, and the cake was clearly rushed and looked messy. Sure, it tasted good, but presentation and timeliness are extremely important for a wedding. My wife cried, which is the last thing I wanted to see on our wedding day. Freeport seems to be biting-off more than they can chew, unfortunately. Definitely use at your own risk for big or special events right now.

I had to fix. NEXT, I paid a $45 delivery fee for what I assumed would be a professional delivery, NOPE, it was delivered in someones personal vehicle and the cupcakes had already started melting when they arrived, so in all of our wedding photos we have melting cupcakes and a melting cake. LAST, the cakes colors were literally WRONG, they put a giant gold stripe on my cake when I specifically asked for it to not be on there and it was written clearly in the contract, not to mention I had no gold in my wedding so it completely clashed with my silver accents. To say the least, I was beyond disappointed, because when it is wrong on the day of, there is literally nothing that can be done to fix it. The only reason I am giving more than one star is because at least the cake tasted good.

We ordered mini peanut butter cookies, chocolate dipped shortbread cookies, and chocolate chip cookies. We got a buttermilk cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. I sent pictures of the design I wanted and it came out great! I am very happy with the service and desserts. The only thing I didn't love was the price for the small cake I ordered. $65 for a 6 inch, single layer vanilla cake, with a simple design seems like a lot to me. However, that is the going rate for wedding cakes and I didn't want to make it myself, so what can you do? P.S. their morning bun is my favorite weekend breakfast!

Did not look marble at all. Anyways, it was still beautiful and delicious. Just make sure you give an exact picture if you have a specific vision for your design. The staff at Freeport bakery were friendly and were very responsive to my emails.
