dding meeting in which he asked us about ourselves, our culture and what type of photography we wanted taken during our wedding (color contrasts, lighting, etc). We laid out a tentative schedule where my wife took pictures with her family first at the venue and then mine; everything was very clear, Jan was very easy to get along with and reaching an understanding was simple. At the wedding, we followed our game plans. With the many years of experience he has, he suggested we take pictures from certain angles or in certain poses. Not often at all, but we told him we preferred not taking pictures one way or another and he very quickly adapted. This is his BEST quality. He tailored the photography to our preferences and applied his experience and knowhow to produce absolutely AMAZING photographs. I would recommend Jan time and time again with eyes closed. He is a master of his craft and his personable nature makes him great to work with. You will not regret it. The quality of his photography is top notch.

ooting, and his passion for shooting is so obvious. In addition to our wedding day, my husband and I had a shoot with Jan the day before our wedding as well. It was rainy and gloomy that day, but even our outdoor photos still came out AMAZING. It literally looks like we came out of a fashion magazine; you would never know how terrible the weather was. Jan can capture the beauty on camera in any situation. Our wedding photos are absolutely unbelievable. I have never felt more glamorous in my life than how Jan made me feel that day, and it reflects SO well in our wedding photos. I look at them every day and I can't believe they're real. It's so much more than just his eye for shooting... his editing skills are top notch, so far above and beyond other photographers I've seen. He can seamlessly remove and correct anything that detracts from the overall beauty of a photo, whether that's an object in the background or a scar or line somewhere on your body. He pays attention to so many little details that I've seen other photographers ignore, like symmetry and color palette. On the day of our wedding, he made all of us feel so comfortable, continually made us laugh, and made us all feel so attractive and confident while shooting with him. He gave us so much good direction when we didn't know how to stand or what to do. And all of our photos came out looking like they were from a magazine - not just your basic boring posed wedding photos. He made me feel like a supermodel. Even working with him to book travel and all the mundane details for my wedding was so easy because he is so nice and fun to talk to. And when he delivered our photos, they were even organized chronologically and by category (ie. ladies getting ready, ceremony, reception, portraits, etc), which made them so easy to review and choose from! I really hope that we get the chance to shoot with him again in the future! He captured our wedding so beautifully and went so far above and beyond what I ever expected from a wedding photographer, and was truly worth every penny. He is THE BEST!!!!!

My husband and I loved his upbeat personality and true talent as we looked at picture after picture in his portfolio. He is an absolutely amazing photographer! Obviously I was worried having never met or worked with him before, but I truly believe God puts people in your life when you need them most, and this was definitely one of those times. Everything happens for a reason, and we are so glad Jan was referred to us by a friend. Not only did he calm my nerves, answer a million questions and pay extra attention to us leading into our special day, but he was super positive, upbeat and you could tell he genuinely cared about us being happy, having fun and getting great photos. We got married in Miami on 8/12/17, which had to be one of the hottest days in history (or so it felt), and despite being soaked in sweat after busting his ass for 12 hours straight, he never complained or stopped giving us his all. At the end of the night it felt like we'd known Jan our entire lives and like he was family. THAT right there is what makes him different than the rest; truly one-of-a-kind. After only one day of meeting with us he knew what and who was important to us. He read the crowd and knew how to get people to react for the camera. All of our guests were captured in a natural way, and we have some of the best photographic memories to enjoy for the rest of our lives. I'm a very picky person when it comes to photos, but Jan worked closely with me to make sure I was happy. Even though he has a million other clients, he made sure I had his full and undivided attention. He is truly a magician with a camera and an overall wonderful person and professional. sure that he would make his schedule available after having to cancel and reschedule our wedding due to hurricane Irma. Ever since doing our engagement photo shoot I knew that we were in good hands. Might I add that in the middle of shooting it poured down rain and Jan did not let that affect him even if it meant getting soaked and his camera wet! After receiving our wedding photos it truly goes to show how talented Jan is. Not just by the way the photos came out alone but because he is a one man party and was able to capture every important moment plus some! I can't thank Freire Wedding for making our day come to life.
