French Creek was the best wedding venue we could have ever dreamed of, and far exceeded our expectations in every way. From the very beginning, Sara was genuinely kind and easy to work with, answering my billion questions via email super quick and being very transparent about everything. The venue is so beautiful, and doesn't need much decor with its natural simplicity and beauty. The food is also incredible! The rehearsal and decor drop off went so seamlessly, and Sara and her team were able to take every vision we had and make it a reality. Sara and our bridal attendant, Jimena, made our wedding day absolutely perfect. They were kind, attentive, and helped in any way myself, my husband, or our family needed, sometimes before we even realized we needed it. The entire staff was so great, from the bartenders to the waiters to the bridal attendants - all of our guests had nothing but amazing things to say about the venue. We would highly recommend French Creek to absolutely anyone!!

French Creek Golf Club is a country club and wedding venue located in Chester County, PA. This expansive property is ideal for couples seeking to wed away from the bustling big city. An hour’s drive from downtown Philadelphia, this property is easily accessible and boasts all the benefits of a countryside wedding.
The venue offers a variety of indoor and outdoor event spaces for couples to use throughout their wedding celebrations. Couples are welcome to make the most of the site’s outdoor space with a ceremony overlooking a pond and a century old Sycamore tree. The springhouse and wedding garden also provide excellent first look and post-ceremony photo opportunities that will leave you with images to cherish for a lifetime. You may also choose the restored historic bank barn for your ceremony. Dating from 1820, complete with high ceilings, stone walls, and traditional barn doors, it provides a stunning alternative to the outdoor setting. Everlasting receptions can take place inside the club’s beautiful ballroom. This space features wooden flooring, large windows, and intimate lighting. The ballroom can be configured in several ways and has ample space for seated guests, a dance floor, and entertainment. This area also provides access to the Terrace Room. For cocktail hour, the Terrace Room provides picturesque views and open-air flexibility. irytale backdrop. Beyond that, we were so impressed with the service. Sara was incredibly responsive, helpful, and fun to work with. She answered every question with kindness no matter how small or silly, and made every request a reality. I loved having her there on my wedding day. Anna, my bridal attendant, was awesome. She was always there when I needed her and I’m so thankful she was there to help me on the wedding day. Krysta ensured things ran smoothly and Robyn made it easy to keep track of payments. The food was delicious - highly recommend the risotto! Something I loved was that right after our ceremony, Anna and Sara brought us a tray of all the appetizers being passed around so we didn’t miss a thing! It started to rain while we were doing our first look/wedding portraits and Sara magically appeared with umbrellas. Overall, the day ran so smoothly and I felt like I didn’t have to think about a thing - I just got to enjoy the day (and no, we did not have a wedding planner - you really don’t need one, French Creek has it covered!).
My one suggestion is that if you plan on taking photos on the dock by the lake, ask them to sweep off the deck. It’s worth it!

We had wonderful feedback from friends and family about how great the food & service was! And we loved our tasting experience as well! Laurel and Courtney were fantastic to work with and were always there to answer any questions we had and their organization and attention to detail made me feel completely at ease on wedding day. After booking, Laurel and Courtney kept in contact with us leading up to our wedding and kept us on track. They are both super responsive, kind and helpful! They kept everything super organized and paid attention to all the small details.
Come our wedding day (9/9/23) we were dealing with the possibility of rain. Both Laurel and Courtney were super patient with us and helped us make decisions on where we wanted to hold our ceremony / cocktail hour. We both had our hearts set on getting married outside but due a high chance of rain we last minute moved into the barn and we honestly couldn’t be happier with that decision The barn is STUNNING, and depending on the weather the barn doors can be opened to give more of an outdoor feel.
The weather held out for cocktail hour and we were able to enjoy the amazing views from the terrace with all the doors open.
The whole day / night ran so smoothly. French creek worked with us to create a timeline that we felt worked best for us. Another one of our vendors mentioned it was the fastest / smoothest dinner service they had ever seen. By the time dinner was done we had sooooo much time to dance (which was exactly what we wanted).
It’s been a few weeks since our wedding but every guest we’ve talked to has raved about how beautiful the venue was. how amazing the food was (especially cocktail hour) and how friendly the staff was.
We can’t wait to go back to visit!

ous. This venue has the perfect mix of rustic and elegance, and the views are just breathtaking! We got married in June 2023, and actually chose to get married in the barn because it really is just so beautiful. It also offers a different view and setting before heading to the ballroom, which is just stunning. People are still complimenting our wedding, in particular the beauty of French Creek as well as the food. In fact, one couple even said that our wedding food now sets the bar for all other weddings! Laurel and her team offer seamless planning and support throughout every step of the wedding process, which was such a huge weight off of our shoulders when it came to planning our day. Everything was executed to absolute perfection, and they made our day one that we will never forget. I cannot recommend French Creek Golf Club enough, and we are so beyond grateful that we were able to celebrate our wedding there!

for. They do event coordinating in their sleep haha! Laurel our day of coordinator kept us on track during the planning process, and ensured our day ran SO smoothly. She was amazing! My husband, myself, our family, and all of our guests raved about how gorgeous the venue was and the service. The landscaping and florals are stunning and because of this not much decor is needed which is nice. We definitely brought decor for certain spaces, but Laurel walked through all the spots that are typically decorated using a "decor guide" so things aren't overdone. The only thing is I wish we could have easily gotten the left over food and cake wrapped up, but there was a policy that didn't allow that. If you bring your own containers you can take it, but we weren't aware of that. Otherwise everything else was a dream!

one event per day! We had searched high and low for a wedding venue that had separate indoor areas for ceremony and reception (which was great, because it ended up raining on our day!). The barn was spacious and beautiful and the event building had enough space for guests to enjoy cocktail hour and reception in the ballroom. Most importantly, Laurel and Courtney helped us keep on track throughout the whole wedding planning process, checking in with each of the milestones on their planning checklist. They also worked directly with our vendors and established a wedding day timeline with them, so on the day of we were hands off for the most part. Laurel and Courtney also rapidly answered any questions or concerns we had during the planning process as well as provided any recommendations as needed. On the day of, we had Laurel and Courtney as well as a bridal assistant Chryssa and night manager Luis to end the night. All were amazing, kind, and receptive to our requests. They really helped us keep calm through out the chaos of the day.

French Creek kept in constant communication during the planning process and were quick to answer any questions I had. The venue has breathtaking views and delicious food. Our friends and family continue to tell us how beautiful the wedding was and how much they loved the food. Although we had a rainy day and missed out on the stunning landscaping and beautiful external features, our pictures inside the barn and ballroom are incredible. The team at FC took care of all set up and breakdown of decor and held it all until the next day so after my event I could just leave and worry about my things the next day. If I could do our wedding 100 times over, I would choose French Creek every time.

edding there was always staff around and they made the day run smoothly. Most importantly they made sure my husband and I did not see each other before the ceremony since we were not doing a first look. The unique venue spaces are amazing and the biggest selling point to us was being able to have separate spaces for each part of the night. We had our ceremony in the barn and it was absolutely beautiful. Cocktail hour was held in the patio room where you could take in the beautiful fall foliage. The ball room was gorgeous and there was plenty of room for our guests. Throughout the night the guests told us how amazing all the staff were and they made sure to stay close by to make sure everything was running on schedule. The food was absolutely amazing! We cannot say enough positive things about our experience at French Creek!

Laurel, and her assistants, were always available for questions! From the pond and springhouse, to the barn, terrace room, etc., our guests were blown away at the the beautiful grounds and versatile venue spaces. Our ceremony was held outside looking at the springhouse on a beautiful fall day, followed by cocktail hour in the barn, then dinner and dancing inside in the ballroom. Everything was topnotch, most especially the food and service, which our guests cannot stop raving about the delicious food. Day of, we had our wedding outside with cocktail hour in the terrace room with the floor to ceiling windows wide open which was exactly what we hoped for. The food was absolutely amazing and we still have people raving to us about it! All of our guests were absolutely floored with the grounds and views of French Creek. Both the inside and outside were just breathtakingly beautiful. Laurel, Courtney and the team were extremely attentive to us and our very large bridal party on our wedding day. They were patient and kind as well. They were great with the coordination of vendors and the overall flow of the wedding day was amazing. We had little to no stress whatsoever on our wedding day and we know the French Creek team had a huge hand in that. Thank you for helping our wedding day vision come to life!

f Club enough for making our wedding dreams come true. French Creek is an amazingly beautiful venue, but what makes it so special is the incredibly organized, diligent, and meticulous staff. Everything from the initial tour, to the sit-down tasting, and to all of the vendor coordination in between was such a seamless, stress-free experience. We cannot underscore the “stress-free” component enough. Laurel and her team managed all day-of timelines, coordinated with vendors, accommodated last-minute COVID-cancellations and changes to the guest list, and synced on walkie-talkies during our wedding day to ensure everything went smoothly. Laurel even bustled my dress for me prior to our cocktail hour! Our friends raved about the food - the best filet they have ever had at a wedding, the bar/entire staff, and how beautiful the venue was (all loved the indoor/outdoor cocktail hour space). My husband and I are truly so grateful we chose French Creek for our wedding day and highly recommend this venue.

ur wedding, we communicated with Laurel who always answered all of our questions. She was very friendly, quick to reply, and made sure we were all sticking to our timeline. Jimena was also a huge help during our wedding day -- she helped me with my dress, kept us on schedule, and was always helpful and made sure we were having the best day possible.
The venue itself is just stunning. We can't say enough how beautiful French Creek is, with amazing flowers and rolling hills. We got lucky with perfect weather. The barn was magical for our ceremony, and the cocktail and reception rooms were stunning as well. Our guests were all blown away by French Creek's beauty. Also, the food was delicious! Even my French family members said it was the best wedding food they've ever had.
We HIGHLY recommend this venue as your place to have the most magical wedding. Thank you French Creek for all you did to make our big day unforgettable, and one that we will cherish forever.

no matter how random, was answered promptly and thoughtfully. It is the most reassuring feeling for a bride to know that all the details were being taken care of. I felt completely relaxed on my wedding day which is a true testament to Laurel and the team. The venue is absolutely stunning in the summer with all the flowers in full bloom and was perfect for our outdoor ceremony. It's a perfect backdrop for pictures! Our guests were gushing at how beautiful everything was. The food, the drinks, the vibe...French Creek knows how to do it all. cessional, accommodating and kind. We worked with Laurel, who was so responsive and helpful. She was extremely organized and helped keep us on schedule leading up to the big day. She was so quick to answer any email and question I sent her way. Truly a pleasure to work with. The venue itself is like a piece of heaven on earth. It really is one of the most beautiful, peaceful places I have ever been. No matter what time of year you want to get married, French Creek is sure to impress your guests with its stunning views and top notch service. On top of all of that, their food selections are incredible and so delicious. Their offerings are absolutely a step above any other wedding venue I’ve been to. The day of our wedding, everyone was so lovely and helpful, making sure we enjoyed every minute of our day. Aside from the 100 other reasons for why you should choose French Creek, one of the biggest selling points is the beautiful indoor and outdoor ceremony options. No one plans for rain on their wedding day, and the peace of mind you receive from having their beautiful, re-built and modernized barn as a backup plan is amazing. Laurel and her team are patient, responsive, and fantastic at their jobs. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing about French Creek. Thank you for making my wedding one of the best days of my life.

I had a longer engagement so I initially worked with Kate and then Laurel came on board a few months in, her service and the rest of the staff of French Creek were so accommodating to my vision! French Creek is a stunning venue (we used both the stone barn for our cocktail hour and reception in the main ballroom) and on the day of, Laurel and her team set up all of our decor perfectly. Our guests are still talking about what an absolutely gorgeous venue it was and how amazing the food was (seriously incredible). The staff were all so kind and accommodating. terrace room cocktail hour and ballroom reception were everything we had hoped for and more. Laurel and her team did an amazing job with everything we asked for. This was a rescheduled Covid wedding and I can't say enough about how easy and flexible the owner of the Club was with rescheduling. We are all from out of the area and used The Desmond Hotel for our full service hotel. They handled all of the bus transportation for us, as well as welcome and after parties, and a brunch. They are an amazing combination with this venue if you need a hotel partner. We highly recommend French Creek for Chester County weddings!
