We are so happy we chose West Baden at French Lick as our wedding destination. Ryan Cooper, Event Coordinator, was amazing from the first meeting. We honestly went with this venue because of how knowledgeable and at ease he made us feel. At our planning session I came prepared with Pinterest photos of florals and cake designs, etc. The day of wedding my jaw probably stayed dropped from my reaction to everything. It looked just like the pictures I showed them! I couldn't believe it. Every recommendation they provided us for vendors was perfect from the DJ to the hair and make up. Every time we met or emailed each other it was a quick response and very detailed with answers. My recommendation is say YES to this venue and trust them to make your day amazing!

I have been to French Lick Resort West Baden many times through the years. It’s my favorite getaway/hideaway. I always said if I ever get married that is where my dream wedding will take place. Dreams really do come true because it happened August 23, 2025.
The hotel and resort itself is a step back in time. You can feel the history and the presence that’s moved throughout the grounds over time. It truly is like a palace. Even over its grandeur presence it feels cozy, warm, and relaxing. The rooms are all beautifully themed as well. I’ve stayed in every type of suite and atrium room prior to the wedding too. Cannot go wrong with any of them.
From the moment I contacted West Baden’s event planner, Ryan Cooper, he made the process the easiest thing I’ve ever done or planned in my life. This year was and still is crazy. I lost my dad not even 2 months into planning the wedding with Ryan. He took over the reigns for me when I needed him to. He kept me informed of timelines. By May it was time to officially meet . We met ion my birthday! Best birthday ever! I stayed at the resort, met Ryan and his wonderful team, planned the wedding, and celebrated my day. It was magical. The taste testing choices are out of this world. Kim, the florist, was wonderful to work with too.
Over the months leading up to Ryan he creates a rapport with his clients. It’s professional but for me was like a breath of fresh air and a warm hug going back home. Again, so much was going on and he took care of everything. I had my ideas and said you do this all the time please just take over. Best decision ever because everything turned out better than I dreamed of.
Our wedding was under 20 guests. Very small. That week of the wedding was crazy for Ryan too. He didn’t let that stop him from delivering all that was promised at the wedding. He’s a gem to the establishment. Another example of how amazing, my father in law fell 2 hours prior to our rehearsal dinner. He could barely walk but was not going to let that stop him. Ryan accommodated him all weekend. He adjusted things to make sure he was okay. Come to find out my father in law broke his hip in two places resulting in a total hip replacement on that following Monday. The point is Ryan made the weekend happen for us. In spite of all the hardships for my family but also things he had going on it never stopped anything. He made sure the day was magical and beautiful. The staff. Oh bless them. They’re wonderful. I wanted to hug them all and have them sit with us during the entire event. The sweetest, kindest staff ever. We also stayed in the presidential suite. It will make you feel like royalty.
Ryan thought of everything. He took care of everything from our rehearsal, my spa experience, and even had phenomenal recommendations.
Gorgeous. Perfection. All of the positive words you can come up with describes my experience. My mantra for my wedding day was everyone needs a Ryan.
West Baden has always been special to me. I was engaged there, married there, and now I feel like my family is there. From one heart felt bride to the next it’s truly a magical place to be married at and Ryan is the magician, fairy godfather, genie in a bottle to grant your every wish. And who doesn’t want to feel like a Queen getting married at her palace?

My husband and I recently got married at French Lick Springs Hotel. Janna was our coordinator. We could not have asked for a better wedding experience! Janna was absolutely incredible to work with—organized, thoughtful, and truly invested in making sure our day was perfect.
Everything ran so smoothly, and we felt completely taken care of from start to finish. We are so grateful for the entire team for making our wedding day more than we could have ever imagined. Highly recommend!

We had our wedding here on a Wednesday, and it was the most amazing experience. Janna McCormick took care of all my needs/little details I wanted at the wedding and even the days leading up to it. I felt like I could just be a bride, without any extra stress. From the first visit up until after the wedding day, I never once worried about how the ceremony and reception would go, I knew it would be beautiful and perfect. They took care of the catering, cake, setup/clean up, and floral. They made my day easy and special. Janna and her team were professional, communicative, supportive, and attentive. I knew my day would be amazing no matter where we had it, but it was even better than I could have imagined having it at French Lick.

Jake and I got married at the West Baden in February of 2023 and it was beyond anything that we could have ever imagined. The venue speaks for itself, but the staff and team at the West Baden is what made it so special. Everyone that we worked with put their heart and soul into making our weekend truly incredible. The team takes genuine pride in their work, and it shows through their communication, professionalism, customer service, and attention to detail. Our entire weekend flowed seamlessly and as a bride and groom it was refreshing to not have a single ounce of stress. We truly got to enjoy every moment of our day. 15/10 for the West Baden and the team that made our day come to life!

We got married on the Pete Dye Course and stayed in the French Lick Springs Hotel. The hotel staff was very kind and accommodating. The wedding and ceremony were stunning. They require you to use their planner, food and florist. Food is great! I was not notified that the florist had been taken off of my wedding until 3 hours before the wedding. It was very hectic at times and several things I wanted did not go as planned. The organization and attention to detail could have been better. I would recommend on the day of double checking certain things that are important to you.

I got married at the French Lick Resort last month. We had the ceremony in the garden and the reception inside in a ballroom. The staff and planners there were excellent. We did a huge planning day months in advance, and past that, I didn't have to worry about a thing. They did the flowers, cake, tables, linens, and hired the DJ in house, so I didn't have to run around to more vendor appointments. It was wonderful and very simple to plan. I loved everything about my wedding. The only things we had to do ourselves, other than dresses/tuxes, etc., were hire a minister and photographer. I highly recommend it!

French Lick was amazing! They advertise themselves as the one and only 'true' destination wedding venue in all of Indiana, and this made it so easy to plan the wedding because nearly everything was onsite. I coordinated everything from the cake to flowers through their onsite wedding coordinator, Carrie Gee. Carrie was absolutely fabulous and coordinating through her was easy and meant the I did not have to work with tons of different vendors and could easily keep track of the budget and communicate the dream I had for the wedding day. Absolutely wonderful! I highly recommend celebrating your special day here!

We wanted somewhere we could road trip and be flexible-- not somewhere we felt the need to be constantly on the go to be worth the money. We stayed on the American Classic side of the resort and unless you're a golfer, that's the one we'd recommend. You can visit both sides by free shuttle, there are tons of walking/hiking/biking trails and things to do anytime you'd like. They have a Railroad Museum, carriage rides, spa, bowling alley, bike rentals, casino, the 8th wonder of the world, gold courses, gardens, horseback riding and tons more! There are also multiple shops and restaurants on site.
They provided excellent service and the scenery was absolutely beautiful!

I had my wedding at the West Baden Springs Hotel 11/06/2010 and it was everything I wanted!! This hotel is absolutely beautiful and the gardens makes for a beautiful backdrop for any wedding.
My wedding was very small and intimate (30 people) and the West Baden made us feel welcome and the wedding coordinators were very helpful and were able to provide everything needed for my wedding. I did use a few outside vendors, but The West Baden is truly a great place to host your wedding.
I would recommend that any bride in the Louisville or Southern Indiana area check out what the West Baden has to offer. You will not be disappointed.
