Fresa's Chicken al Carbon

We held a rehearsal dinner and rented out the indoor space at Fresa's in early March 2018. Whitney had the schedule in hand when we arrived, and kept us running on time all evening. The servers were ready for our 80+ guests and the food was wonderful. Multiple people commented on the fabulous service from the wait staff. Fresa's was a beautiful space for our dinner (we only added 2 floral arrangements to the room because their decor is already so great). The sign of a great party....no one wanted to leave at the end of the night. Thank you for your great service and yummy dinner!

In March 2017, we had our wedding ceremony and reception at Fresa's on South 1st. Our confirmed guest list was about 60 people. THE SPACE: Fresa's beautiful outdoor patio is what initially drew our attention. They have a music stage, ample seating, and lovely landscaping. The inside of the restaurant is also gorgeous. We appreciated the natural light offered by the large floor-to-ceiling windows, as well as the bright colors of the Mexican Serape decor. The property (indoors and outdoors) is very inspiring! THE FOOD: We knew the food was an absolute hit because all of our guests were quiet for about 10 minutes after the food was served. Nobody was talking because everyone was busy stuffing their faces with Fresa's delicious food! We were so happy with our entire catering menu, and it felt good to know that our guests loved it too. By the way, in addition to the desserts offered on the catering menu, we also contracted with Fresa's own pastry chef to bake our wedding cake! From hors d'oeuvres to dessert, the food was nothing short of brilliant. I should also mention the drinks! Fresa's superb margaritas were a hit with the adults, and the kids loved the tasty Agua Fresca. THE SERVICE AND STAFF: Fresa's event coordinator - Marianne - was such a joy! She remained flexible throughout the planning process, and worked to make our vision come true. My wife and I went back and forth on some of the event details (up until the last minute!), but Marianne made sure that everyone on staff knew what to do. Fresa's entire staff were very professional and kept our guests happy and comfortable throughout the wedding reception. BOTTOM LINE: Fresa's on South 1st is an incredible wedding venue! Having the event space and catering all in one makes so much sense. The food and drinks are absolutely remarkable, and the event staff are A+!!!

My dealings with Fresa's catering were extremely pleasant. They were punctual, professional, and made sure that everything ran smoothly on event day. Their staff members were on point and polite and worked so hard to make sure that guests felt well served. Definitely recommend!
