Fresh Frame Photography

Sarah is truly an artist. I will preface this review by saying that so far, we have only our sneak peek, so 23 photos, and our engagement pictures, but from what we have seen, I have no doubt I will continue to be as delighted with what we get as I am with everything else on her site. She shoots documentary-style, as is popular, and I vastly prefer it to the stale catalog of strictly posed photos. We had a number of children, and this is particularly good for getting natural photos of kids, and my husband who is hard to get a comfortable smile out of in front of a camera. Sarah was flexible about working with us to create a package that met our needs, and was always laid back and calm. I'm only sorry I got married so late in life so I can't recommend her to more friends. We already have photos that are true works of art, and people have commented on how stunning they are. I cannot say enough good things about her.

We used Fresh Frame Photography for both our engagement and wedding photos. Within a few minutes of talking to Sarah about her style of photography in our first meeting- we were all in! Having our engagement photos with Sarah really helped us feel more comfortable for our wedding - it also showed us how beautiful her work is!!! We had so much fun taking pictures with Sarah and her assistant Emily on our wedding day. Although we haven't received all of our photos back yet - I am in love with the few photos we have gotten from our sneakpeak! I am 100% confident that I will love the rest!!! Thank you Sarah and Emily!!!

It's no surprise that I loved Sarah when I met her. I was referred to her by friends who had her photograph their wedding as well. She was everything I hoped for in a photographer, vendor, friend and more. Her attention to detail, amazing style of photography and personality won me over. Sarah took our engagement pictures and wedding photos, and even though I have only seen the sneak peek of photos (our wedding was last Saturday), I already do not know how I am going to pick a few to frame in our house, there are so many great photos to choose from. Sarah and her assistant, Emily were so nice and did a great job with us even though we had a little bit of rain on and off. Battling the weather and my apprehension to be out in front of the hotel taking pictures prior to the wedding she was amazing and I could not have asked for more. Both Sarah and Emily were so great during the cocktail hour, even when the inevitable, annoying requests from myself came - "oh hey, can you please take a picture of this group," they were so nice about it. Sarah even held my kleenex (I was sick on our wedding day) while we took pictures, talk about going above and beyond. I can't wait until our next big life event so I can call Sarah and have her shoot more photos for us. Until then I hope more of our friends get married and use her so I can still keep in touch.

Sarah at Fresh Frame was very professional but also casual ability to relate to me and my husband. What drew me to her was our phone conversation originally where she gave me confidence that she was the professional and I didn't need to have any of those silly worries I was bringing up because I had more important things to worry about! ThAAANK you! lol And she was all I had hoped- no kidding I'm not drop dead gorgeous but she made me look that way. I love our photos. We had a crappy dark day and time got crunched but she made it unnoticeable. Couldn't be happier :)

My husband and I met with Sarah from Fresh Frame Photography and as we looked at her sample photos, I knew that I would hire her to do our wedding. She has a wonderful artistic style and an ability to capture moments in such an authentic and personal way. She included engagement photos in our package and we were able to get a feel of her style. She made the both of us feel comfortable and came prepared with lots of creative ideas for us (we are both teachers, met at school and we got to do a shoot at the school- they were adorable!). I would not change a thing about our photos or our experience- I LOVE every single moment captured that day!

The girls that work at Fresh Frame Photography make sure your day is absolutely perfect. Before even getting to their work, Sarah and Laurelyn are simply the most fun and personable girls to work with. It's their work, however that sets them apart. I (the bride) had done a lot of research about what David and I both wanted in our wedding photographer. Qualities: fun, two photographers for the day, and a photojournalistic style. She far exceeded our expectations. To us, it was important to have a few traditional & formal portraits: family and friends, posed in church. That was special. But to capture those special moments when no one is looking when we're sneaking a kiss or a few quiet minutes to ourselves, was even more special to us that those moments were to be caught. Just for us to go about our day, getting ready, socializing, laughing with friends, dancing in action, cake smushed in faces. From the time when the girls and I were doing make-up and getting ready in the church basement, she was there in on the fun. I should make a note on that: I feel that the contact and communication BEFORE our wedding day helped me and the bridesmaids feel most comfortable as well. I would definitely recommend Fresh Frame Photography to my friends before even mentioning the name of another photographer. Laurelyn did an outstanding job, and we couldn't possibly be happier with her work. Plus, sharing the same faith (WELS Lutheran) as them certainly has its perks. ;) Anne & David Starr June 22, 2012
