We worked with Jami at Fresh Studio for our November 2023 wedding in Los Angeles, and from the very start of our vendor relationship Jami stood apart from any of our wedding and event partners. Jami's approach is a thoughtful and mindful one to storytelling and makes you feel more than just comfortable in front of the camera, but truly the best version of yourself being captured. Jami did a complementary engagement portrait session earlier this spring so we could get to know each other and get a feel for the venue and style of images we hoped for, and we utilized much of her portrait album photos for our wedding save the date, website and printed decor at our event. Her spirit and overall persona as an artist was so valued and she worked and collaborated effortlessly with our other event vendors on site. Jami also translated her welcoming and warm presence to all our guests and wedding party members, and managed to seamlessly move through all our memorable moments of the day and get incredible and authentically beautiful pictures of so many of our loved ones. Jami is truly incredible. From the first conversation I knew I had to have her for my big day. The vibes were incredible. Day of the wedding she worked her butt off. So did the second photographer Yvette. Our families adore them both. The best part was she enjoyed it, and seeing her dance to the music made me remember to enjoy every moment of my wedding. From Groom- they are awesome, amazing and they worked sooo hard!

There are not enough words to express how AMAZING Jami & Fresh Frame Foto are!! In my initial call with Jami I knew I wanted to work with her. After our engagement photo session, I could not wait for our wedding! She made us feel so comfortable, you wouldn't even know we were in the middle of a heatwave in Atlanta. Jami is a PHENOMENAL wedding photographer. We clicked instantly at our first meetup and she did the impossible of making me feel comfortable with a camera. We were a group with no idea what we were doing and her sage wisdom helped us even in the earliest stages. I genuinely could not recommend a more wonderful photographer! Jami made me calm and had me laughing all through my wedding day. I'm someone who has never felt comfortable with people photographing me, let alone liked the outcome of the photos, and what she captured on our special day brought me to tears (in the best way). There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Jami and Fresh Frame Foto, are! She was by far our favorite vendor to work with. My wife and I can be pretty awkward in front of the lens and Jami and their second photographer did a fantastic job of recognizing when we needed to take a second and breathe. The breathing exercises were so helpful in grounding us and easing the nerves. All our family and friends raved about how amazing Jami was and loved the way that she posed everyone for the family photos. Jami not only brought their expertise, but their personality and humor the day of which was a nice added touch. Throughout the whole process Jami was commnicative and availble to answer any questions we may have or hop on a call if we needed to. We also hired our videographer through Fresh Frame Foto and could not say enough nice things about them. We haven’t seen the finished product yet, but after meeting with Jami and discussing our vision for the wedding video and wanting some something less traditional and seeing their team in action we are confident the the finished product will surpass our expectations. We can’t say it enough, hire Fresh Frame Foto, it’ll be the best and easiest decision you make.

Where do I even start! Jami is absolutely amazing! Not only does Jami take amazing photos but she is also your coach, cheerleader, vibe creator and time manager. It was like having another wedding planner. Jami did our engagement and wedding photos and by far was our favorite vendor. From the moment we did our consultation phone call I knew we were in good hands. She worked incredibly well with our videographer. She was very professional and considerate in setting up shots and angles. We spent so much time with her that my wife and I starting going through withdrawals when the wedding was over. I am a person that doesn't really open up but Jami was able to get me to loosen up and relax when I was in front of the camera. My friends and family still talk about how much fun Jami was to have at the wedding, one couple even wished that they could go back in time and book her for their recent wedding. Needless to say we have found our photographer for life! If all goes well we will be calling her soon for a different kind of photo shoot!

The photographer of Fresh Frame Foto, Jami, is beyond amazing! She was by far my favorite vendor on our wedding day, and I’m so happy I found her! Hiring a photographer wasn’t a top priority for me and my husband on our wedding day because we aren’t the biggest fans of taking photos, so we debated not even hiring a photographer, but we ultimately decided it would be a better decision to have a professional photographer capture our big day, and thank goodness we did! We didn’t have the most traditional wedding that required a photographer to be there all night long, so it was important to find a photographer that was flexible with hours and price. Jami offered us a couple packages, both of which were very affordable compared to other packages I’ve seen other photographers offer, and both packages would provide enough coverage for what we needed for our wedding. Our photography package also came with an engagement photoshoot. The photoshoot was super beneficial and allowed us to get to know Jami more and how she works. She was super helpful in getting us to feel comfortable in front of the camera, which really helped on our wedding day. Not only can me and my husband be awkward, but so can our family and friends. I found she helped put everyone at ease on our wedding and made sure people remembered to have fun! We ultimately decided to go with Jami because we loved the style of her photos, and the photos we received did not disappoint! The photos she takes are wonderfully candid and natural, and she undoubtedly knows how to capture people of all walks of life beautifully. In my opinion, your photos won’t look like the average collection of wedding photos in the best way possible. The examples of her photos you see are what you will get. Finding the words to say how awesome Jami is will be a tough task but I am determined to find them. First of all we need to talk about their energy. Jami exudes positivity. The excitement they bring to the day is only matched by the calmness and assurance that they have it all figured out. I started my day as a very nervous bride. I literally could not move. Instead of making me feel like I had to start posing Jami moved around me. They managed to take pictures of me sitting/frozen in the car look intentional and beautiful. Jami and their assistant were also quiet as church mice in the church. The photography never felt intrusive during the ceremony. They are also EXPERTS at using the environment around them. I was stunned when I was sent a photo of my entire wedding guest in the middle of the ceremony taken from the choir loft. It literally looks like a renaissance painting. The portraits after the ceremony are my favorite. Jami’s positivity is a little reinforcement that you are in fact living in one of the best days of your life and your smile and love is important. Then Jami works their magic and it’s bottle up in a lovely photograph. It is also worth mentioning that in their great use of the space around them, Jami will get in the dance floor to get the photos and I respect that so much because I spent my entire wedding dancing! All the photos we received are precious memories and I’m so glad I found Jami to help preserve them. If you value family, quality time, fun, and your spouse you could not find a better person to care for your memories. This might sound slightly dramatic but your wedding photography is not something you can afford to get wrong. It is not something you can redo. No one noticed that we got mushroom chicken instead of salmon at dinner but everyone knows that our wedding photos are wonderful. My husband and I loved working with Jami! Despite feeling awkward having our photos taken, Jami did an amazing job of making us feel comfortable and has delivered beautiful photos! And yet whenever I connected with Jami, I felt like I was receiving her full and direct attention. We were drawn to Fresh Frame because we could tell from the first portfolio glance that Jami understands EXACTLY who her couples are. That's really the review in a nutshell, but I have to gush about this woman. My husband and I are silly, goofy, fun-loving people who threw a giant kegger wedding bash. We wanted someone to understand that we are huge goofballs, and capture our spirit in the photos. Jami did it! But we also hired her because she can capture beautiful, sweet, romantic moments as well. We didn't want ONLY silly photos - we wanted our romance and our love documented in beautiful ways as well. Jami was an amazing photographer and we are so thankful we found her for our big day. Jami is the perfect balance of highly professional but also chill and down to earth – something you definitely want with the chaos that a wedding day can bring! She has an amazing way of making people feel comfortable, calm and themselves when capturing photos – she reminds everyone to breathe, to relax, and to not overly “pose” – resulting in super natural and beautiful photos. We enjoyed working with her leading up to the big day and she took the extra time to get to know us as people – our story, what we’re all about, our style – she definitely took care throughout the process to ensure that everything was “us.” The day of the wedding was fantastic and she was so helpful in easing our stress, scouting the perfect photo locations, and wrangling our large group of bridesmaids/groomsmen. She was so great in partnering with our videographers for certain shots, poses, landscapes, etc. to ensure the day and flow went smoothly (which we hadn’t thought about prior to the big day, but you definitely want that in a photographer!). We are so excited to see the final photos but already know they are going to be gorgeous. We couldn’t have picked a better photographer. She was absolutely incredible and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone.

Jami came to us referred by not 1 but 2 separate friends of ours that had used Fresh Frame Foto for their special day. Once I saw Jami’s look book I knew we had to work together - the style, the drama, everything was so beautiful! Scheduling / planning was a breeze. We had a very intimate private wedding ceremony at our home but the pictures and moments captured in photos made it look like it was a 6 figure event. Jami was fun, resourceful, and managed to get everything on our list and then some for photography. Highly recommend for your day!

From the moment we met with Jami we knew we made the perfect choice for our wedding photographer. Jami was epic in every way and our wedding party and guests are still talking about how fun she was to this day! She had so much energy and listened to our photography requests. She also provided great ideas and found the perfect locations for our first look. We were on the fence about doing first look pictures and we are so glad she guided us in the right direction. Our favorite pictures are definitely from the first look locations, it was fun and whimsical but she also found an additional location with a very modern, minimalist feel, which captured both of our personalities! Jami also attended more events than our wedding day and went above and beyond what was detailed in our contract. My husband and I are very particular but we decided to select vendors who we felt confident in letting them execute their creative freedom. It was risky but Jami delivered in every way and more! To find a wedding photographer is so hard yet one of the most important elements for your special day. You want to find a photographer who matches you and your partner’s personal authentic, great at the job, professional, honest, and personable. And also who won’t break your bank account. Jami is everything above and beyond. When my husband and I decided to do a small spontaneous wedding in March, we didn’t want to have anything huge, but wanted to have a good photo of us taken. But it was little hard due to our wedding date being so close and we didn’t want to go over our budget. We asked few other photographers and didn’t have any luck. That’s when one of our work friends connected us to Jami. From the very first conversation we had with Jami, she was amazing. She listened and understood what exactly we were looking for, what’s our budget and timeline, and explained what exactly she could offer us with all that information. She was always honest and clear in her communication with us. (Which is the best way to start working relationship with anyone, honestly.) Then, fast forward on the day of, she was phenomenal. From the beginning of the day till the end, it was such a blessing for us that we were able to have her as our photographer. Below are the highlights of her work/work ethic. 1. She is so communicative. Our guests loved her and didn’t even realized all the while she was taking photos. 2. She is amazing at capturing a moment. In another word, she moves around so flawlessly she never interrupt or ask for a posed moment to get a shot. 3. Thus, the photo shoot with her after the ceremony was great fun!!!! Both my husband and I are not so much of photo taking people. So we were bit shy going in. But that self conscious awkwardness disappeared in a matter of a second thanks to her talkative, fun personality. We just ended up talking about random things all the time and laughing so hard, we totally forgot she was taking pictures! And lastly, but not least in the importance, is the quality of photos she delivers to you. Her turnaround is amazing, she follows you up with the process so you won’t be left wondering. Even after 8months from the wedding, all our guests still talk about how fun it was to have her as a photographer and how amazing all those photos are!! We met Jami Johnson and the crew of Fresh Frame Foto at a bridal convention. The fiancé and I had no idea what we were getting into, but figured it would be a good place to get ideas. There was one booth in particular that enticed us and we were happy to give them our contact information. Not long after the convention, we got an email from Jami with an offer we definitely couldn't refuse. I thought it was too good to be true at first and hesitated to respond, but am so glad I did. Jami's kind demeanor and stunning skills were exceptional from the very start. We knew we had to go for it! We didn't know what the heck we were doing, of course, but Jami made us feel so comfortable. We had initially hired a friend to help with wedding photography, which turned out to be the wrong fit for us. Jami slid into the open position like a pro. We could feel the moment we met up for the engagement shoot that it was right. We hugged as if we were old friends, because that's how Jami makes everyone feel. The rest of the shoot was spent laughing and learning how to rock our look. And it sure showed when Jami delivered the photos only 2 weeks later, because we were absolutely blown away!!! The photos somehow captured our connection as a couple beyond what we could have expected. My fiancé and I had never seen ourselves in such stunning images before. Jami made us look and feel like royalty and I will always be grateful for that, because I don't think I'd ever looked so confident in a photo before. We proudly showed off the photos to everyone who would look at them and had a lot of friends asking for our photog's contact info for their own events. Fast forward to the wedding day. Everything was figured out, so all we could do was hope all of our vendors would come through. Jami and the 2nd shooter showed up right on time with the biggest smiles on their faces, all the equipment they would ever need, and fully charged camera batteries. I don't think I saw those two sit down the whole day. They were running around herding the bridal party, giving excellent pointers, framing the perfect shots, and really owning the craziness of the day. You know they're working hard when everyone's heads are spinning and they're all so chill like nothing could bring them down. If they were panicked at all throughout the day, we sure couldn't tell! Even my mom was impressed with the way they handled everything. And that's tough to do, because she's skeptical of everything all the time. We got a sweet email from Jami the day after the wedding, which was such a nice surprise. It was as if our photog was just as excited and happy for us as our guests were! That's how you know they care. We fully expected the photos to take at least a few months to edit and receive back. Wrong again! We had a full gallery and even a digital wedding album mockup from Fresh Frame Foto in only FIVE weeks! That is literally unheard of in the wedding industry. And we got a TON of pictures back. All of them are amazing. My fiancé and I literally laughed and cried so hard while going through them together. It was like reliving the day all over again through their beautiful work. These images will be cherished for the rest of our lives. I honestly wish I could give them 100 stars, because 5 just doesn't cut it. If you are considering using Fresh Frame Foto for any event, DO IT! You won't be disappointed even in the slightest. In fact, you'll be impressed every step of the way, just like we were!

We booked Jami for engagement announcement photos. Jami was so much fun to work with! I as amazed with how well she tailored her photography to our personalities. During our initial consultation we disclosed to her that we weren’t the typical lovey dovey couple. She took everything into consideration and what resulted was an amazing batch of photos that captured exactly who we were as a couple! She also did s terrific job making my fiancé smile in his pics, which is a feat in and of itself!

This venture started as a recommendation from a friend, but what a spectacular recommendation it was. We had a very tight time schedule and had long since abandoned any hope of professional photographic services. In just a few weeks (literally 2-3), Jami had scouted our location, and she'd given us a good sense of her vision and thoroughly relayed her understanding of what we wanted. This was a big load off in the run-up to our day, and that all important "one-less-thing" to worry about. On the day, she came early to the reception venue and started getting pictures as the setup was finalizing (place settings and decorations) without all those pesky guests milling about. She captured the bridal party prep as well as a brief pre-ceremony session with family and friends. This was a lot to ask of a solo photog on a hectic day. Once the official festivities kicked off, Jami was mostly invisible, but she was always available when there was a moment or subject to capture. She had proofs back to us within a couple weeks (if not sooner), and digital finals in less than a month. It may seem like it's late to mention, but we were fantastically happy with how the photos turned out. It's the most important aspect in the end, and we are always appreciative of the fine photos she provided. The logistical smoothness she provided made the whole experience just that much better. FIVE STARS!

Fresh Frame Foto is for all intents and purposes our family photographer. Jami did our engagement photos our wedding photos and a small series right after I gave birth. We absolutely love working with her! Our engagement photos found us all around downtown Los Angeles, in places we’d never been before but felt natural and authentic.
