About this vendor
I am a Seattle-based wedding videographer deeply influenced by the charm of indie films. My approach revolves around the belief in maintaining a deeply personal touch, creating works that stand the test of time for generations to cherish. I steer clear of gimmicks, passing trends, or empty assurances. Instead, my focus lies in authentically documenting your narrative and the genuine emotions I observe.
As a cinematographer, storytelling is my passion, and weddings provide the perfect canvas for the most enchanting love stories. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to play a role in capturing the essence of these memorable days. Every couple possesses a unique romantic tale that brought them together, and my craft is dedicated to embracing and preserving these individual narratives.
My aspiration is for your wedding film to endure across generations, narrating your beautiful love story. While some may argue that having both photography and videography on your wedding day is excessive, the rapid passage of the meticulously planned day transforms those initial reservations. As time seems to slip away, video becomes a priceless medium, capturing moments in a way that transcends mere visuals and encapsulates the sounds that make your day truly unforgettable.
I prioritize building a genuine connection with you. I want our interaction to feel like a friendship rather than a transaction—you are never just another client or a paycheck to me. When your wedding day arrives, my genuine desire is to celebrate you and your unique love story. I thrive on collaborating with couples who share an adventurous spirit and seek to create a lasting video legacy of their special day.

h fun reliving every moment with family and friends. We had a few editing requests after seeing the final videos, and Eugene promptly responded and addressed our requests. I recommend purchasing the package that comes with the video book. We were hesitant at first, but so glad Eugene talked us into it. It made sharing with family so easy, and now we have something we can open anytime we want!
Admittedly - we weren't planning on using a videographer for our wedding, but when some important family members couldn't attend we wanted to have video of the wedding available. I...
am so thankful that we hired Eugene and FreshFormat, in the end having video available was one of the most special mementos from our wedding day. Eugene was a true professional who not only was able to put us at ease during the day, but helped guide us so he can make amazing content for us. Everything felt extremely natural and he was so much fun to work with. After the ceremony he delivered the teaser video, feature films, and additional videos on time and they are so special to us. He was also extremely responsive to any requests and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a videographer.

n watched over and over in our house; we can't say enough good things about it. We also received a full ceremony video, which was also so well done. It's more than just a stationary camera placed and recording. His editing and everything pull it together for another great video to watch. If you're on the fence, just book with him, you won't regret it!

joyable. When we received our wedding video back there wasn't a dry eye. He explains how he loves being a storyteller and he delivered exactly that. He did an amazing job capturing how truly special our day was and somehow he captured the joy and happiness the day brought and we felt that all over again while watching the video. We were beyond happy with his work. As many of our family members described the video it was truly magical. Overall, he is an amazing videographer who loves what he does and you see that in his work. Because of him, we can relive the love we felt on that day and have a video we will cherish forever.
Eugene did an INCREDIBLE job capturing our perfect wedding day on video! He was able to capture the essence of our day, as well as bring in little tiny details that mean the world ...
to us. I could not be happier with the final product. He was so easy to work with, and closely listened to what we were looking for. From the little details that made it into the video, to the drone footage, to the just pure essence he was able to capture, we are SO HAPPY! Not only did he manage to capture out perfect day, but he captured the true essence of our family's cabin where we got married. I couldn't have asked for anyone better to fulfill this hugely important part of my wedding day. Thank you FreshFormat Films! I would hire you again in a SECOND!

ured every important event at the wedding- from fun shots of the bridal party before the ceremony, us reading our vows, family members giving speeches and everyone busting out their moves on the dance floor. Eugene and and his wife Amanda (an amazing photographer!!!) were the best duo and work so well together- they made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and it really felt like we just had two more of our friends at the wedding.
When our video was delivered, it was more than we could have ever hoped for- so perfect! We probably watched it 10 times the day we got it, and many more times since then! We quickly sent it to family and friends who were equally in love with the video and the ability to reminisce on the day. We are so grateful that we will always have it to look back on for years to come. One of the best decisions we made was to hire Eugene with Fresh Format Films to capture our special day! We HIGHLY recommend using him as your videographer- you won’t be disappointed!!
We cannot say enough incredible things about Eugene! We hired him to film our elopement (we also hired his wife, Amanda, to do the photography). As soon as I saw his work, we knew ...
that he was the guy we wanted to film our special day. Eugene made us feel so at ease - he was caring, professional and super fun to work with. My husband and I aren’t the best when it comes to “poses” but Eugene made us feel comfortable and gave us some incredible suggestions that look so natural and elegant.
We were so sad the day ended because we had so much fun! The next day Eugene published a little teaser/preview video on Instagram he had made on the side on his iPhone and it was such an incredible surprise. That teaser video alone was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE so we are super excited to get the elopement day video back. I still to this day watch the preview video every day because it makes me so happy and put an instant smile on my face.
I HIGHLY recommend Eugene!
