DJ Richard did a SPECTACULAR job with our wedding. He was there in early planning stages helping us perfect our playlist. He had some wonderful suggestions as well (including the shoe game). Come day of, he kept the dance floor moving and grooving. If you're looking for a DJ in the Mammoth area, FreshTracks is the move. He knows the venues and vendors well and did a ton of his own coordination which was incredibly appreciated!!! Wedding planning is stressful. Richard not only did not cause any stress, he alleviated it. HUGE THANK YOU!!!

I would recommend Richard with no reservations. He is outgoing, collaborative, easy to work with, professional, and very communicative from the moment we reached out to him. He was supportive throughout our planning process, always asking for our ideas, preferences, and thoughts. He demonstrated patience as he walked us through the process with ease, allowing us to feel confident with our musical choices and our desires for the night. He was quick to offer suggestions if we wanted any, and created a timeline that was flawless and intentional for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. When there were slight adjustments needed, he handled them with ease and it allowed his creativity to shine. In addition to that, he communicated with the photographer, wedding coordinator, in order to make sure we were happy. He read the crowd allowing for the dance floor to be packed the entire night, literally from dinner until closing time with 150 people. We could not be happier that we hired him, and would do it again in a heartbeat. Hire him, you will not regret it!

DJ Rick is so fun!! We gave him a hard task of playing Persian & American music for our big day. Even though he wasn’t familiar with Persian music before, he prepped, listened to the song, & blended both styles beautifully. Our friends and family loved the music and we danced for hours! Couldn’t have asked for a better time! I would highly recommend Rick for your special events!

Rick was super fun from our first meeting through the entire wedding. He was incredibly organized, timely, and professional. He helped us put together our timeline for the reception as well, perfect. The ceremony and reception ran so smoothly and he did such a great job not only as DJ but also as MC. He brought the energy without stealing the show and kept the dancefloor packed. I didn't need to communicate with him at all the day of our wedding because he had everything locked down. I really can't think of a single thing he could've done better in any way. If you're not using Fresh Tracks for your event you are missing out!

Rick absolutely killed it as our DJ and MC. He BRINGS the energy and goes above and beyond! We are forever grateful for the memorable experience he provided. Prior to booking with Rick, he scheduled a consultation with my husband and me to see if our vibes meshed. He didn’t rush us into making a decision to book him but actually encouraged us to really consider our options. However, after our initial consultation, we knew we needed him to be our DJ. And he did not disappoint. Early in the process, he scheduled another consultation to just talk music so he could learn what we were into. Music was really important to us for our big day and working with Rick was easy and smooth - he had a music mapping process that was easy to fill out, covered all the bases, and offered room for collaboration. When the day finally came, Rick absolutely killed it! He brought the energy! He meshed songs together that had no right sounding that good together. He asked people that weren’t dancing what kind of music he could play to get them on the dance floor. He really made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. Our friends and family are STILL talking about him and the incredibly memorable experience he provided. We are so grateful to have had him!

Rick was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!!! He was beyond amazing! Everyone was out on the dance floor all night. At one point my mom came up to me and said she was so exhausted and was ready for bed but she couldn’t leave because every song that came on kept her wanting to stay on the dance floor!! Rick was organized and so helpful with the whole process from beginning to end. Even when our officiant (one of our best friends) left the marriage license with him he called me the next morning to get it returned to us!!! 😂What a solid human !! Rick was such a joy to work with and be a part of our wedding celebration. He was extremely helpful with the planning process and, in fact, was our only vendor who didn't leave tasks until the last minute. We felt prepared with our music to-do list months before the official day. When the day finally arrived, I felt super confident with what Rick was playing and we all had an amazing time. Rick was wonderful to work with for our wedding. He was very organized, attentive, and he truly was there to support us and our vision on our big day. I really appreciated his Music Mapping worksheet as it was such an organized way to map out all the music we wanted for the day. He also checked-in with us leading up to the wedding to see if any changes need to be made. Best of all, we loved his energy! Working with Rick for our wedding was such a wonderful experience. He was incredibly approachable, professional and detail oriented right from the beginning, and immediately after our first meeting with him we knew we had made the right choice. DJ Rick was amazing!! From start to finish he was dedicated, communicative, and full of energy! He took the time to have multiple phone call meetings to make sure we had our playlists and flow of the day dialed in. My husband and I would honestly look forward to these calls because Rick was always getting us pumped up while maintaining such professionalism. He was very organized and made the process so fun and stress-free. Our wedding ceremony and reception went perfectly. He brought the energy to all the guests and had our dance floor POPPIN' literally the entire night which was exactly how we wanted it! He let me (the bride) take his mic and rap one of my favorite Eminem songs to the whole crowd which was definitely a highlight for me. We would 100% recommend hiring him as a DJ and wished we lived closer to Mammoth so that we could use him again for parties or any other big event. We had so many of our guests tell us during and after the wedding how great the music was and energy on the dance floor which had so much to do with our wonderful DJ!

RICK IS A VIBE!! Let me start off this review with the fact that the DJ was our first wedding vendor that we booked. After minimal research, FreshTracksEntertainment kept showing up everywhere we looked. This was a clear sign that Rick must be good...and boy was he GOOD! I first reached out in September 2021 to inquire about our September 2022 wedding at Forest Chapel and McCoy Station in Mammoth Lakes. We met up for coffee at Black Velvet and were sold. We booked him in October and he checked in every now and then until the wedding. We also booked his Photo Booth because it's a GREAT deal...and we're a big photo booth couple. We had a phone call closer to the wedding and we worked through a Google doc with all of the information he would need (couple info, songs, our preferences, etc.) as a team. He had sample playlists and offered multiple times if we wanted or needed suggestions on songs (first dance, walking down the aisle, etc.). I just can't say enough how AWESOME he was. He set everything up, was on time, the speakers didn't go out, his transitions were FLAWLESS, I mean...he was just perfect. We received SO many compliments during the reception about how the DJ was the best wedding DJ they had ever heard. And still to this day- a year later, our friends and family still talk about the music/party aka DJ Rick. THANK YOU RICK!!!

Rick was a total homie. If you needed something, he made himself readily available to you. It could be anything… from where to get a snowboard in Mammoth to giving recommendations on how to best time the wedding. He also has a crazy amount of energy- something you want in a DJ. As for the wedding day, the guy had his work cut out for him. We had a pretty hard crowd to please… 1/3 didn’t want to dance, 1/3 was very-very picky, and the other third would dance to most things. Rick didn’t give up the WHOLE night trying to get EVERYONE on the dance floor- which I think most DJs would’ve given up. Would definitely recommend Rick!

From the first "meeting" with DJ Rick on the phone, I knew I was going to vibe with him. My husband and I loved his fun, upbeat energy and his taste in music is super similar and varied just like ours is so it felt like a perfect match. We loved how easygoing his personality was and felt he would be a perfect fit for our wedding day- not to mention the awesome funky mixes he creates. What stands out the most about DJ Rick, is that he felt like more than just a DJ. He truly helped set the bar for our wedding day in terms of the energy, level of excitement and keeping all our guests engaged. He really becomes a friend during the whole process and makes you feel that your day is special. We ended up having unexpected snow during our wedding ceremony and he was able to totally rock it and kept our guests pumped up with the fun, in the moment music he played. The floor was literally shaking and was filled with people dancing the entire reception. We had many people absolutely rave about how great our DJ was and we simply could not have been happier with selecting DJ Rick. From start to finish he was so fun to work with and he is incredibly passionate about what he does which truly shows in the work he does. He was incredibly helpful during the planning process - he'll help you narrow down the overall vibe for your wedding night, and pick key songs for those special moments. He is great at providing input and suggestions when you're stuck, while hyping you up for those song choices that you know you want. My husband and I didn't have to worry about anything DJ/MC-related on our wedding day - Rick is incredibly professional, prepared, and ready to go. He is killer at reading the crowd. DJ Rick is the absolute best! We first experienced his talent when we attended our best friend's wedding. Rick had us all dancing our hearts out, which ignited the flame between me and my now husband. So, naturally when we got engaged, we knew exactly who we wanted to DJ our wedding...the guy who had us falling in love on the dance floor in the first place, DJ Rick! Luckily, he was all for it! He helped us plan out the musical portions of the wedding, he met with us quite a few times before our wedding, and he made sure to go above and beyond to make sure our day would be extra special...and it was! He had the dance floor filled up until closing time. I quite literally had to tell the guests that it was time to go home! If given the opportunity to work with DJ Rick again, you best believe we will!

Rick was the absolute best DJ and overall vendor we worked with for our wedding at Convict Lake Resort! Our guests and us were on the dance floor the whole night and he does an incredible job of playing a good mix of music that is favorable to the couple, friends, family etc.. Rick has the best energy which really made the overall experience working with him; not just at the wedding itself, but also with every meeting leading up to the big day as well. He's very organized and communicative throughout the whole planning process. We appreciated the frequent touch points with him letting us know what we could expect, what we needed to provide him with and when as well as what we could expect for the day of. We also loved that he always made an effort to meet up with us for coffee when we were in town to chat / get to know us as a couple. Couldn't recommend Rick more to DJ your wedding or big event!

DJ Freshtracks (Rick) CRUSHED IT at our wedding! We had so many people come up to us during/after the wedding and say they had one of their best times at a wedding because the music was on fire the whole time. Really appreciated that Rick worked with us through his music mapping document ahead of time to get the right vibes for ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dance floor. And he truly executed the vision! The dance floor was on fire, he was a fun MC throughout the night, and it was overall so seamless. A ton of fun working with FreshTracks. Highly recommend!

Richard was the most amazing DJ and I cannot recommend him enough! He cared just as we did about making our day perfect. He made himself available for several planning sessions before our wedding and had amazing suggestions on how to make the music fit our style. But even with all the planning, we had several last minute changes in the days leading up to the wedding (even the day of) that and he handled every twist and turn with enthusiasm and professionalism. Absolutely the best DJ ever. We had multiple vendors recommend Rick, and each said “he will get every single guest on the dance floor.” They were not wrong. Rick is so fun, easy-going, and kind. He works hard to ensure the music is what you want and understands how crucial it is for a wedding. He met with us multiple times to get a feel for what we wanted and provided great equipment day of. All of our guests loved him and went out of their way to tell us so. I cannot recommend Rick enough!

We hired FreshTracks for our July 31 wedding at Mammoth. It was raining so our top of the mountain got cancelled, but in our efforts to do it on the rooftop, Rick took his sound equipment up and down the stairs a few times. Dude is nothing but positivity and good vibes. The planning process was easy, he took us through a whole music plan, got to know our style, our wedding party, etc. He did an awesome job with the shoe game, which Rick introduced us to and was a huge hit at the reception. He had the dance floor hopping all night long, and not to be overlooked, his MC skills were on point. 10 out of 5 stars.

Rick was born to be a DJ. He was attentive and helpful when planning our wedding day and was willing to answer questions and provide guidance. I appreciated his method of pulling out our taste in music and determining what vibe we wanted at our wedding without too much work on our end. He was adept at providing creative boundaries and didn’t hesitate to provide constructive feedback. He perfectly walked the fine line between listening to our preferences and incorporating our distinct style while also knowing exactly what works best from his endless experience. When working with Rick you quickly realize how much he genuinely loves music and knows how to use it to connect people. He intuitively knew exactly what to play and when to get everyone out on the dance floor to keep the party going. He is an artist at mixing songs and a true musical talent. Rick also brings his own energy during the whole wedding. So many times I looked over to see him bonding with our guests or dancing and enjoying the evening with the rest of us. Once the event was over I can’t remember how many people came up to me and said “your DJ was fantastic, where did you find him!?” My suggestion, hire Rick and let the man do his thing. He’s a pro.

There is so much positive things to say about Rick, I do not know where to start. Lets just say that my wedding was almost a month ago and my guests are still talking about him! From day one Rick was amazing with his communication and made me feel comfortable with all of my decisions. Richard is seriously hands down the best DJ/entertainer we could have had for our wedding!!! From the get go of wedding planning stages until the very last seconds of our wedding night, he had such unmatched energy like no other. We’re from Hawaii and had our destination wedding in Mammoth Lakes. We really wanted to incorporate our local music in our ceremony and reception while also including wedding appropriate songs. He really made wedding planning smooth and easy and listened to exactly what we wanted and envisioned, and recommended what he thought would work best and the whole wedding day came out better than we could have ever imagined! Richard’s suggestions also helped with our wedding ceremony and reception schedule. He even made some last minute calls that worked out for the better! BEST 10/10!!! Talk about a Rock Star of a DJ., Richard helped us pull off a successfully socially distant micro wedding in 2020 and still honored our original contract with a few modifications for a reception in 2021. Richard went the extra mile to ensure that we were happy with our music, we were doing well during the crazy times and was resilient when it came to switching venues. He listened to what we wanted for music and was able to blend the different genres of music. Richard helped link different songs to memories that will last a life time.

Rick is far more than a DJ. We didn't realize how much an experienced professional like Rick could add to the whole wedding experience. He helped us conceive of a plan/schedule for the entire event, and then took charge executing it. In the planning phases, he was super communicative and available. He (gently) prodded us months ahead of time to make sure important decisions (like how the procession would go, etc) didn't get left until the last minute. He was also very flexible. Due to powers beyond anyone's control, our venue had to shut down ten days before the wedding. Rick totally pivoted and helped us move the event to a new venue at the last minute. You wouldn't have known it on the wedding day-- everything went down exactly as planned and without a hiccup. Lastly, his energy is contagious. The guy can read a room and get your party going. From running the reception with poise, to getting people out on the dance floor, to music selection that is on point (with as much input as you want to have)-- he really made the event a fantastic party that people are still talking about months later. Richard was absolutely stellar as our wedding DJ! He was organized in the setup, professional as master of ceremonies, and he brought this amazing energy to his set that kept the dance floor full the entire night. Richard will keep everything on track from the very beginning as he crafts your vision of events with the perfect mood to match. On the day of, he kept everything running smoothly, accommodating any situations, and transitioning the reception with some fantastic music. We really wanted the dance floor to come alive, and Richard delivered that and more, it was popping the entire night! We used freshtracks for our October 8 wedding in Mammoth. He was extremely organized and we had a great time discussing what we wanted with him before the wedding. He was reliable, responded to all questions very quickly, and it was very easy to do last minute changes. His energy and love for his job showed throughout the whole day. I love my husband but I knew I was going to plan the whole wedding on my oh and I can’t tell you how grateful I am to not have to worry about our DJ. He handled everything beautifully. We gave him songs that we wanted during the dancing portion and he blended in his own flavor with it. It was honestly a wonderful experience and no one left the dance floor. If you want someone that is reliable, affordable, great at his job, and a ball of energy that brings the crowd together this is your guy. I wouldn’t write a review unless it was completely true. We got married at Canyon Lodge in Mammoth Lakes on 10/24/21, and could not have been more thrilled to have DJ Rick be our main music man! Leading up the big day, he worked with us closely to make our wedding "music map," to ensure we heard every song we wanted when we wanted in. His energy is infectious, and he kept the dance floor lit from start to finish. One of my favorite memories was looking back at him jumping up and down, rocking out behind the DJ booth. If I could give Rick 100 stars, I would... We originally hired Rick to be a part of our October 2020 wedding, however, Covid had different plans for us and we ended up postponing our wedding to October 15, 2021. Through almost 2 years, Rick was always an email away, would check in on us, see if we needed anything at all.. he is the most supportive, professional, and fun vendor that we've had the pleasure of working with. 2 years in the making, and it was worth every second!!! Rick went above and beyond to make sure we had the BEST night of our lives!! He played all of my 'musts', took requests, read the room to perfection, and even started a conga line with all of my guests- it was hilarious and AMAZING!! I've never seen my father-in-law dance so hard in my life, it was great! Through our time working with Rick, we felt he became more of a friend than just our wedding DJ. My husband and I plan on making trips to mammoth/June Lake (T-Bar) to see Rick dj in the future. I really can't say enough great things, we love you, Rick!!!

The most fun, positive, and amazing DJ we could have ever been lucky enough to find/hire. We're from Miami so we know about parties and Rick helped us throw an absolutely killer PARTY. His energy was infectious and every guest has commented on how amazing he was. I don't even know if they remember the music played, but they remember him - which is seriously more impressive. I can guarantee you will not find a more helpful, positive, and accommodating vendor. DJs are such an important part of the day and you want the best. HE IS THE BESTT!

My husband and I live in Northern California and love Mammoth so we were originally planning to have our wedding at Convict Lake.  Rick was the first vendor i booked in 2017 when I started planning. We talked and connected easily. Rick is a skier like we are and I could immediately tell he had a fun attitude and took his role on wedding day seriously. I knew I had to have him DJ our wedding, so we signed a contract and started working on booking Convict Lake for our venue. Strangely, after we signed a contract with Convict Lake for our 2018 wedding, they suddenly said they were no longer holding weddings at the lake due to permitting issues! We looked at other venues in the area but could not find anything in the area we loved. Rick was a champ with all the changing plans and dates. I was stressed by the struggle but Rick was always there to offer encouragement. He promised to be there for us even if we planned our wedding out of the Mammoth area. We also postponed our wedding until 2019 so we could pick a new venue. Rick was fine with this change! We started planning for a venue in Northern California - in the foothills of the Sierra near our home. Finally we found a venue we loved, Ironstone Vineyards in Murphys. By now 2019 was pretty booked up for Rick and for our venue, so we went for June 13, 2020. Remember we signed a contract with Rick in 2017! Rick STILL agreed to travel to Murphys and DJ our wedding. And no extra travel charge. He was still honoring our contract signed back in 2017!! We had a venue and date, so finally we could start planning the fun stuff. Rick was awesome during planning- music mapping process was easy. We talked multiple times over the years to plan, Rick was super accessible throughout all the changes and very easy going. He explained everything really well, offered suggestion and his expertise, and helped me bring my vision to life. He rolled with me when I changed my mind over and over. So 2020 arrives and we are ready to go! And then COVID hit! Having to postpone again was so awful. We waited until end of April to reschedule for 2021 Abs by then the dates Rick had available and at our venue were limited. I picked our new date based on the date Rick had free- it was THAT important to me to have him there on our day. Rick once again was accommodating to our having to make another change. When we booked it, we also didn’t realize it was Father’s Day! So Rick came and deejayed our wedding on Father’s Day weekend. After 4 years of planning and changes! Amazing! Well the wedding day did not disappoint! Rick got the guests into the perfect mood for our day. He set the stage for a perfect day with not only the music but with his great attitude and energy. What I didn’t want was a generic thoughtless DJ, I wanted someone different and talented that understood what we were about. The day and night was awesome with Rick’s help. He read the crowd and Played the music we liked and created a sentimental, fun, upbeat atmosphere the whole time. And later the the dance floor was hopping! The staff at Ironstone said Rick was the best DJ they have ever had- I believe it, he was incredible! Worth every penny paid and more. DJ FreshTracks is the best!!!

Rick was easy to work with and super fun, making planning a wedding from across the country super easy. His energy and enthusiasm are unmatched, and I think he had as much fun as we did during our reception! He worked with us to create a reception flow that was unique to us, and he kept the energy high throughout the evening.

Seriously best DJ ever! I had so many guests coming up to me telling me what an awesome DJ Rick is. From the dinner music choices to the nonstop dancing music, everyone loved Rick! I first heard about Rick at the Mammoth Wedding Gala event. Rick wasn't able to attend because he had a wedding to do of course but we ran into him at that wedding venue and briefly got his card in passing. While at the gala a photographer that I spoke with gave me great advice and told me that they first vendor I needed to book was Rick, and man was he right! Rick was there for us through the pandemic. We we're supposed to get married in July 2020 but ended up getting married in July 2021. He was our biggest cheerleader being the uncertain times of postponement. I leaned on Rick to get a feel our how Mono county was handling the restrictions. Rick had a positive attitude the whole time but gave me realistic info about how things were looking up there. After we decided to postpone for a year, I made sure that Rick was available on our new date, I'm dead serious that if he wasn't I would have changed the date. Rick has become a true homie of ours we are so grateful that he was a part of our day. I didn't want to leave the dance floor; all his song choices were great. He has so many great suggestions and playlists for everything; recessional, processional, cocktail hour, grand entrances, first dance, parent dances, dinner music, cake cutting, etc. and he makes it all customized per couple. He's very responsive, organized, friendly, professional, hard worker, the list goes on and on. Thank you so much Rick! We had the best party ever and it's all because of you!

We used Rick as our wedding DJ. Rick is everything that you are looking for. He is a DJ and wedding planner at the same time! His experience and skill helped make our wedding absolutely amazing. His knowledge and ability to adapt helped relieve me of a lot of wedding stress and got me exactly what i wanted for my wedding. Highly to recommend.

Can’t say enough great things about Rick! Of all our vendors, he’s the one the guests were still talking about days after the wedding. We had a blast on the dance floor and Rick kept the energy high! Besides that, Rick is an excellent communicator who always brings a ton of positivity to our conversations. He’ll help you easily keep everything organized with a google doc and his own Spotify playlists for you to explore. We kept in touch for over two years through Covid and highly recommend Rick to anyone getting married in the Mammoth area.

My husband and I got married during COVID , where the unknown of our wedding loomed over us daily. My husband is a firefighter and I’m an emergency nurse, and leading up to Our wedding we thought it was safe. We reached out to our vendors giving them an option to back out, but Rick was so supportive and so excited to be part of our wedding. He was patient and enthusiastic which is exactly what we needed, especially when people were telling us to cancel. Rick was on top of everything!. We had a couple of zoom calls to give him an idea of who we were and what we were into. It was so easy , we laughed and joked. he made us feel relaxed and our nerves calm. Rick was also very adjustable / adaptable on so many accounts ! First we changed our venue to a house that was at 9,000 elevation and had no service. He put himself where we wanted and made everything work. Our ceremony was in brush and he walked his speakers and set them next to rock and brush and dirt so it would sound right. Rick also had to deal with my specifics when making my father daughter “fun “ dance. There were dozens of back and forth emails “ take this out “ “faster faster .” He was so patient with me and made our dance so incredibly memorable. We got the package where Rick also MC’d the wedding. He is a vibrant and vivacious MC. His music mixes were so on point that we even had a cocktail hour dance party !!! We were on the dance floor the entire time. It was a blast. I always thought I wanted a wedding band but Rick was way better than any band I could have hired. When dreaming of the music at my wedding , all I asked for was “ to keep people on the dance floor” and he did just that. Ugh take me back!!!! Thank you Rick !!!

I hired Rick because of his contagious energy that shows through his talents in being a DJ as well as a great genuine person. Our wedding guests were having the time of their life thanks to Rick. He is kind and there for you throughout the entire process. We truly couldn't have asked for more from a DJ.

Rick was everything we needed whilst planning a wedding during this pandemic. His positivity and energy during the planning process was infectious. He asked me what was one of the most important things I wanted to have happen on our Wedding Day (#covid) and I said the father daughter dance is my number one. He made that happen in the most creative and gorgeous settings! First ever Father Daughter (and First Dance) on the beautiful bridge at Forest Chapel - it was the most perfect and meaningful moment. His relentless desire to make your day special means so much. During our "reception" he fully nailed the vibe we wanted, listened to what we wanted, and kept the energy up the whole time. I couldn't recommend FreshTracks enough.

Where do i even begin? Rick is absolutely AMAZING! His personality is so refreshing, he is so energetic and welcoming. We met him at a wedding expo and immediately knew within 5 mins of meeting him that we NEEDED him as our DJ. Rick was more than accommodating. We had to cancel our original wedding and re plan a new one within 2 months. We decided on doing a campground wedding and i wasn’t sure if that would be something he could even do. When i was unsure about it myself, i asked Rick what he though and he was so encouraging about it! He actually met my coordinator at the site and gave me his opinion on what he thought. He was more than accommodating, we literally could not have asked for a better DJ! The night of our wedding, Rick brought the party. Everyone was dancing all night long! His music mixes are out of this world! I asked him for a variety of different music genres and he hit every single one! He even slid in some last minute request that my family really wanted to hear. His lights really brought the MOOD. Everyone was complimenting our DJ choice all night! Totally forgot to mention that he DJ’d our wedding on his wedding anniversary! A true gem of a vendor who really listens to your requests and can put together your dream playlist. Thank you Rick for being apart of our incredible night and truly bringing the hype!

I sent Rick a message regarding an inquiry about his services for our upcoming event in August. With such late notice, I knew that there would be many vendors that were unavailable for our date, however, I felt I had gotten a great response from everyone except Rick. Rick responded to my message with incredulous questions, disbelief and in my opinion, a lot of judgement. Honestly, it did not feel like this was the best way to make a first impression. In my opinion, all he had to do was politely decline my request, or simply ignore it. Instead he made me feel like I was making a mistake with my event with comments about my guest count, my timeline, my venue and COVID. He even ended the message with "This is going to be cutting it close". No closing farewell, nothing about wanting to hear back from me or, in my opinion, anything remotely respectful. Rick's discourteous attitude made me definitely not want to work with him, even if he did entertain the idea of participating in our day. In short, I feel that the way Rick handled this message and the entire situation was very unprofessional and disrespectful.

Cant say enough about Rick. He was so helpful during the planning process and always responded to any emails/requests promptly and with enthusiasm! We were planning our wedding from New Zealand and he made the entire process very stress free and easy. He absolutely nailed the music for us and our guests perfectly and all with very little direction. I have never seen a group at a wedding rush the dance floor for the very first song like they did at ours and no one wanted to stop at any break in the night. All of our guests are still talking about how epic the music was and personally remember Rick and his outgoing personality. It was a major highlight of our day and I can honestly say I've never had more fun dancing in my life. I was also extremely impressed with his follow up email after the wedding. He remembered little details to our day that really made me feel important as a client of his and not just another number in his busy season. HE IS THE BEST!! YOU NEED TO BOOK HIM! Rick was recommended by our venue, Convict Lake Resort. Five minutes into an introduction call with Rick, we knew he would be an amazing addition to the wedding. His energy and enthusiasm are contagious. We had a small wedding (only 75 people) and were worried that that dance floor would feel empty. Rick was amazing and 95% of our guests spent the entire night on the dance floor, only leaving the dance floor to grab a drink! Our guests could not stop talking about our amazing DJ! Rick was amazing to work with and helped us to select songs for our ceremony and reception. He had countless recommendations and so many playlists to share. Our wedding would not have been the same without Rick.
