Good service, human interaction, great selection, easy process, and FUN. We had a number of guests needing suits from out of town and Friar Tux helped them all. Such fast turnaround and amazing customer service. We ended up buying a full 3-piece suit, and having a few suit rentals, and everything was very affordable. I cannot recommend this place enough!

the options in store were limited since it was such short notice. They did have a suit in stock, we were able to pair it with a shirt and tie. I was in the store for maybe 30 min total, and had a suit that was picked out. I was asked to come back in a few hours after the suit was tailored a little bit. In short it was a great experience and fast.

e and the pricing was great. That experience was what made us decide to use them for our wedding as well. We had 9 people total renting suits (groom, best man, groomsmen, FOB, and FOG, ring bearers), because of the number of people in our groom my husband (groom) got his suit rental for free, which was really fantastic. Due to the large number in our group we also received a group rate for everyone else. They had sizing for a wide range of men and they even had suits to fit our nephews, small boys ages 4 and 2. It was so simple to rent from them. We went in once to give them the details of what we wanted everyone to be in and got the pricing for everyone and details of when the guys would need to be in by. Then we went in a second time for my husband to get fitted, a third time to do the final try on of the suit he would wear, and a fourth time to return the suit after the wedding. Each time they were friendly, helpful, full of information, and made us feel at ease that everything would go great while dealing with them. One of our groomsmen tried on his suit for the wedding two days before the wedding and realized it all didn't fit and they were able to take the pieces that didn't fit back and get him into the correct sizes in time!

ld confirm the color options for our wedding party. They were very easy to contact via telephone, with no long waits or lack of response. The suit rentals we chose (Dark Green Venice) were beautiful and the quality was amazing. Much better than other mail-order rental companies I have used in the past. If I ever get married again (heh) I would definitely use Stitch & Tie. 10/10 would recommend.

o get my measurements, and every visit to the store included pleasant greetings and knowledgeable answers to my questions. Not to be outdone, the Huntington Beach location for our final fittings was phenomenal! Customer service was superior, and I will definitely be using Friar Tux for any formal events in the future. I may even go back to purchase the suit I wore, as I received numerous compliments on the color!! I was in 2 other weddings this year, and both went with Indochino. My experience with them was the complete opposite, and I don't even want to keep the suits I purchased. The only positive thing that came from this horrible excuse for a tailor, was that the experience prompted me to choose a rental for my own wedding, as opposed to buying new. This ultimately led me to Friar Tux, which ended up being the best decision.

I figured everything would operate smooth and I would be in good hands. Well that definitely was not the case. It was chaos from the start and that was just trying to get all of my groomsman suits when they all live in different states. Numerous guys received the wrong size of rental equipment, jackets having to be sent back in with very little communication regarding what was going on. Let's start with myself, the groom. 6 weeks before the wedding I contact the manager I was working with regarding the suit I was told would be release in March and I was promised on multiple occasions that it would be ready. When I let the manager know I was going in to get fitting and asked how long I should expect to wait for the jacket the manager drops a bomb on me. The jacket I was promised has now been pushed back to a later release date and won't be available for my wedding. So all my groomsman bought suits and I had 4 additional rentals, so I brought in roughly $2,300 worth of business and now I am the one getting screwed over. I scrambled to find a jacket and luckily another suit shop in the area was able to take care of me. Due to the amount of business I brought in I was supposed to get my suit free. So I had to raise this to the regional manager just to get my free jacket after all of the companies mistakes. On one of my visits I asked the girl working how my guys would receive the rental stuff from Friar's, she tells me to come in a few days before the wedding to pick it up for everyone. The next day two groomsman tell me that everything arrived at their house. Another time Friar's didn't have a clue what was going on. I had a groomsman receive a size 11 shoe when his measurement sheet shows a size 13. I had another receive a 13W when his paper clearly stated a regular sized 13 shoe. So now we have to run all over to exchange things because they couldn't even send people the same size. When I initially setup my guy's rental stuff I was very clear that my guy's would be renting the shirt, bow tie, suspenders, hankie, and shoes. After a couple visits I asked the person to confirm what my rental stuff was, they left off the hankie and suspenders. My guy's had already paid, so Frair's didn't have much of a choice, so they comped the hankie and suspenders that were left off. Another time Friar's didn't have a clue what was going on. Another groomsman ordered his suit on February 10th and he lives local in the LA area. Everyone received their suit in 7-10 days, but for some reason the local person had not received a single thing. Fast forward to March 17th and were 9 days from the wedding and this groomsman still doesn't have his suit. When he calls he is told some nonsense answer about how it got sent to the Torrance location yet he was never once notified of it. So now they have to scramble to get this groomsman his suit and hope that it fits as he will be receiving it 5 days out from the wedding. So more unnecessary stress caused by Friar Tux. All in all this was by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had when dealing with something like this. I highly advise people to steer clear or Friar Tux. There are plenty of other suit shops out there and you will be glad you saved yourself the headache.

We all looked great. We will definitely use Friar Tux for future formal wear rentals.

The online system was a great tool to track which of my groomsmen had been fitted and allowed those who didn't live in San Diego to submit their sizes.
