Friday Musicale is an incredibly beautiful venue that is amazing for the value. Since the start of our wedding journey to our actual special day, Jeff and the rest of the staff at Friday Musicale were extremely attentive and professional. From tiny questions to big requests, the staff was so understanding and accommodating. We got so many compliments on our venue which had ample space and was very romantic. I would recommend Friday Musicale over and over again!

Founded in 1890 as a concert hall, Friday Musicale is Jacksonville, Florida's longest-running music venue. Over the years, it has welcomed legendary performers, including Sergei Rachmaninoff, one of the 20th century's most influential composers and pianists. It's also where generations of Jacksonville's young musicians stepped onto a stage for the very first time. That artistic legacy continues to shape the experience today. The Concordia Ballroom features elegant chandeliers with adjustable lighting, a built-in stage, and a grand historic foyer—creating a setting that feels timeless, sophisticated, and inviting rather than overly formal. Friday Musicale is for couples who appreciate artistry, tradition, and authentic character over passing trends. Tables and chairs are included, curated vendor recommendations are available, and our team is here to answer questions and support you throughout the planning process.     Executive Director
    Daniel founded The Shed Jazz Club in 2014 (shedjazz.com) where he worked to support the local music community by providing a vibrant space for music performance and education. Continuing his work as Production Manager of The ArtsCenter (https://artscenterlive.org/) gave him the opportunity to produce shows with John Scofield, Bill Frisell, Lee Konitz, Sona Jobarteh, and a range of other leading artists. Besides working to promote music in the community through events at Friday Musicale, he enjoys performing locally as a saxophonist. He lives in Riverside with his wife Jessica (noted poet and UNF instructor) and sons, Adrian and Asa.

Friday Musicale were extremely attentive and professional. From tiny questions to big requests, the staff was so understanding and accommodating. We got so many compliments on our venue which had ample space and was very romantic. I would recommend Friday Musicale over and over again!

Friday Musicale is so beautiful, it doesn't take much decorating. Really, we just decorated the tables and it looked stunning.

Friends had there wedding here, and I looked into it for mine. It's a little pricey for what it is. But it is very elegant with out being extremely fancy. Not very large though.
