Selecting Nate and the Frobaby Team as our wedding DJ was one of our best wedding decisions. He went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, held multiple pre-wedding meetings to ensure every detail was addressed. He tactfully managed the length of the father/daughter and mother/son dances to our comfort and even helped us customize our first dance song. Most importantly, Nate kept the party going for our guests of varying ages, keeping the dance floor packed from beginning to end. Nate and his team are absolutely incredible, Nate reached out to us multiple times about booking and was so incredibly friendly. Our wedding planner highly recommended Nate and just from speaking with him, we knew immediately he was the person we wanted for our wedding. Nate is kind, fun and very outgoing, he’s also incredibly good at what he does. We struggled with music as we have two very different families with different music taste as well as my husband and I’s. We didn’t want the playlist to seem crazy or forced. All of our concerns were sent over to Nate, and he was not only quick to reply but assured us of a solution as well on the day of the wedding, put everything together in such a perfect flow, we kept getting compliments all night, he kept all of our guests on the dance floor. Nate really went above and beyond for us, our first song was a bit too long and there is a part in the song they talk, Nate edited the song, slowed it down, and made it a shorter version, it didn’t even take that long and when we heard it, it sounded incredible, you couldn’t even tell what was missing. I sent Nate a couple of Instagram videos of mashups I really liked, he included those on the day of the wedding and made it happen. I can’t praise him enough, he is a can-do guy and makes it happen, his positivity and skills are out of this world. We couldn’t believe how well he made it come together and made it a perfect day for us. Pro tip, book the highest-level package, you get added effects as well as a photo booth, this was a huge hit with our guests, Nate also sent us all of the photos from the photo booth, and it was such a fun thing to look through after the wedding. The effects included a cloud under us while we were doing our first dance as well as sparklers we ran through at the end of the night. Can’t imagine if we didn’t have those things. Ok, now go book Nate!

We hired DJ Nate for our wedding in Oahu and my husband and I couldn’t be more happy with the song selection that was played that night! My husband especially was blown away at the songs he played. He is Mexican and I am Filipino. DJ Nate knew the songs to play to keep party going and keep the vibe right. He played some really good Mexican jams that surprised my husband. DJ Nate and his assistant KILLED it! I had so many people telling me they were the best wedding DJ they'd EVER heard. We danced non-stop for 3 hours straight, which is exactly what I wanted to do at my wedding. He held no judgments about my totally ravey music choices and pulled out all the stops, bringing some additional lights that I was not expecting. AMAZING! Oh, and if you're debating the "Cold Sparks" option (or any of the add-ons) for your wedding... DO IT! You will not regret it.

Nate and his assistant absolutely delivered for our wedding! His app made it easy to create, stay with the wedding timeline, and add songs at our pace. We started our song listing months in advance and Nate finalized everything a few weeks before our special day. Beautiful set up, great MC, and uplighting set the perfect touch. The cold sparklers on our first dance was amazing! His team was early to set up and very professional. Everyone enjoyed the DJ. Nothing but good vibes all night!!

DJ Nate was hands down the best DJ we could have asked for! The whole process was seamless and he was quick to respond with answers to all of our questions. The white smoke bubbles were the coolest addition and bonus for a Hawaii wedding- they require a big fan to blow them around that everyone loved to stand near. The fact that they have an app to let you organize your music and songs was so convenient. Basically if you don’t go with DJ Nate you are doing it wrong.

I highly recommend Frobaby Productions for your wedding or event. We had a destination wedding on Oahu and despite living in a different time zone, Nate was easy to communicate with throughout the entire process, was incredibly helpful, and provided great insight and suggestions for our wedding. Prior to our event, we were provided a phone app to add in songs and notes to the DJ, which was not only user friendly but also an extremely efficient way to go about adding in songs— giving us plenty of time to think of songs and add them in and edit as we went. On the day of our wedding, we were blown away by how amazing Frobaby made the experience— they provided ceremony sound, MC services, and live professional DJ services. Everything went smoothly and they did a tremendous job reading the room during the reception and playing songs that guests were best responding to, so much so that it got to a point that our guests were dancing in the grass around our dance floor because not everyone could fit on the dance floor! DJ Nate was so helpful and easy to communicate with from the get-go. He uses a Vibo app that allows you to select your music (ceremony, cocktail, reception, and specific songs for first dance, processional, etc.) that was really user friendly and gave us confidence in the type of music that would be played. In addition, he did our uplighting and we opted for spark boxes which did not disappoint. I am really happy with FroBaby Productions and DJ Nate - all of our guests had an amazing time at our wedding!

Where to start with DJ Nate; well we’re one of the couples who had to cancel our wedding in 2020 due to regulations and Nate was more than understanding about that, assuring us we can postpone and plan everything we already talked about for the wedding for another time. We moved it to 2021 and he honored everything we agreed to. We even changed our original planned wedding date to a day that he would be able to be our DJ and it was totally worth it. He was very easy to contact and always had time for a phone call to explain various upgrades he offers and pricing. After talking to at least 8 other DJ’s and DJ companies on Oahu, I can assure you he is the only one that is so responsive and helpful in the pre-booking process and was so genuinely excited about everything I told him about our wedding. He even came out to the venue to take a look at how and where he’d set up to ensure he had enough space, power, and even gave ideas on how to make it look even better. Nate told us he uses an app with his customers that allows them to select songs for each part of the wedding (guest arrival, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, first dance, reception, etc.). Once again, no other DJ I talked to mentioned this or even knew about this app. So throughout the summer we gradually selected songs, which Nate could then see and know what to play on the big day. All of his upgrades are well worth it; we got tons of uplights (which change/sync to the music, monogram (which we customized), smoke machine, white bubbles (the coolest thing that no DJ’s on the island have, they’re filled with smoke so when they pop smoke comes out of them), and a CO2 cannon. Nate was a blast throughout the entire process and especially during the wedding, always went above and beyond and just really cared about us as the wedding couple having a great time! Stop your search now and book Nate, you’ll be completely happy you did!

We finally had our wedding ceremony after 30 years of engagement :) I contacted DJ Nate after researching numerous companies on Oahu. Our 1st phone call to giving our Aloha at the end of our wedding was excellent communication. He was in tune with every moment of our wedding. No one wanted the music and dancing to stop. FroBaby provided support for live-streaming the wedding, the audio for the ceremony, and emcee and DJ services for the reception. They worked seamlessly with our other vendors to make our day run smoothly, and as mother of the bride, I really appreciated that! They curated music that fit my daughter’s requests, and the dance floor was jumping! We are so pleased that we selected FroBaby for her wedding!

Nate and his crew were awesome! The setup was beautiful and blended perfectly with our setting. We went with the cold sparks as an addition. It was totally worth it! They timed it perfectly at our grand entrance and first dance. The picture was priceless with the sparks in the background. The quality of the system was top notch and Nate did an amazing job mixing our fav tracks! It was worth every single penny we spent. On top of that, Nate is just a very cool guy. What more can you ask?

Five stars! I’ve been communicating with Nate via email and phone for the better part of a year while planning a destination wedding. He was the first vendor I booked because I was so struck by his charisma during the initial research process! Even though my wedding didn’t pan out because of the pandemic, I would 1,000% recommend Nate and his team when building your vendor list. Nate comes off as passionate, knowledge, and everything in between.

Love Note from the GROOM: DJ Nate killed it! We filled out the Vibo thing the best we could, we had several gaps and he was able to make choices that fit perfectly. The song list we sent him did not fill the whole night and he was able to add songs that everyone loved. Through the chaos of our wedding and the down pour of rain DJ Nate was flexible and quick on his feet in making announcements and directing the crowd. His DJ booth was nearly underwater and he did nothing but make jokes, play amazing music and have a great time. I can’t say much more other than DJ Nate is AMAZING, and worth every penny! Love Note from the BRIDE: Nick and I planned a destination wedding for 115 of our closest friends and family. While I was hoping for sunshine, planning for a possible light sprinkle… what I, our guests, and our vendors did not plan or expect.. was for— was a MONSOON on our wedding day! I don’t mean to say it just rained… I mean, it literally POURED. There were even flash flood warnings! Every single guest and vendor was drenched from head to toe. They say rain on your wedding day is supposed to be good luck, and ours started this day with our vendors. DJ Nate, we don’t even know where to start, except by saying THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! You SAVED OUR DAY, COUNTLESS TIMES! I think sometimes people don’t realize the importance of your MC and DJ and what a HUGE role they play in the wedding day, and I am here to tell them THIS IS AN INVESTMENT YOU WANT TO MAKE. DJ NATE IS THE BEST OUT THERE!! Not only did your mic survive the pouring rain, and guests could still hear us during our vows, during the few times there was slight panic because of the flooding, DJ Nate was QUICK to jump on the mic and crack a joke! My favorite was “I’ve dj’d at many weddings, but never on a mountain…. on a boat!” *queue laughter*! He was quick to relax our guest and assure them everything was okay! He definitely set and kept the mood of the wedding the ENTIRE DAY/NIGHT! My FAVORITE part all day, must've been when our wedding party was out in the POURING RAIN taking photos and DJ Nate played, "Pocketful of Sunshine" by Natasha Bedingfield. It was so ironic and we were dying of laughter!! SOOO GREAT!! ALL OF THE MUSIC WAS ON POINT. EVERY. SINGLE. SONG. Because of the rain, people were on their feet early on and the dance party started pretty early. Nick helped select some song choices using the online app/music tool (which BTW IS SUPER AWESOME), but DJ Nate kept up with INCREDIBLE song choices ALL NIGHT! He even played music in Spanish music, which was really the best of both worlds!! And did I mention the CO2 Cannon Gas!?! This was our add-on choice and we used it when we surprised our guests in our DINO Suits!!! It created an element of surprise and it was so much fun to use out on the dance floor. Overall our experience with DJ Nate was INCREDIBLE!! Not only are we so THANKFUL and Grateful for you and your positive attitude this day, but we truly are the lucky ones to have had you celebrate our big, wet day with us!!!

Frobaby Productions was AMAZING! They were there every step of the way, helping us plan the songs we wanted, as well as the order of certain events at our wedding reception. By the end of the night, all of our favorite songs had been played. Not only was the music great, but the light effects, glow sticks and CO2 cannon were a nice touch. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Frobaby was the best DJ that we could have asked for to preside over our wedding. He kept the party alive and well taking our vision, vibe, and sound we wanted hitting the ground running! We received so many compliments throughout the night about him asking how we found him and people expressing how satisfied they were with his style and musical selection. Thank you FroBaby! DJ Nate was so easy to work with from setting up our playlist to day of. We had already begun to create a playlist on Spotify, so we were delighted to find that the app he used was able to import our Spotify playlist instead of re-adding each song one by one. DJ Nate himself was super responsive to our questions via email and did not constantly pester us to get the playlist completed even when we were a little behind schedule. On the day of, he was set up and ready with no issues long before we needed him, so there was no distraction in the background while other events were going on. He was gracious enough to honor some last minute requests, like when my wife decided to sing a karaoke version of I Want You Back just before the end of the night. His system sounded great and he was very well organized and attentive to the flow of our reception. Overall, hiring DJ Nate was a great experience and I would definitely recommend him.

We’ve recently just had our wedding in Oahu and had DJ Nate and his team do our music/mc work and photo booth for our reception. We couldn’t say more good things about Nate and his company. First and foremost, just a genuine helpful individual, our wedding was a destination wedding planned from Australia and DJ Nate, even with the time difference, was the most responsive and caring vendor, answering every question we had and was very accommodating from providing extra equipment, music suggestions and offering to help with mc work etc He was also a great help on the day of and brilliant when it came to the first dances and providing music for dancing the night away. Would highly recommend this company for any event especially weddings. Nate and team was an absolute pleasure to work with!

Such a genuine, life loving guy who knows how to get the party started and KEEP the party going! I met with him, along with my (now) husband and wedding coordinator the day before the wedding. He was very professional, and listened to our wants for our song selections and music choices, and even made suggestions to spice things up a bit! The night was such a memorable experience partly because of Nate. I cannot tell you how many compliments I received on how fun my wedding was! We loved DJ Nate! Such a cool guy. We live in Sydney, Australia but had our wedding in Hawaii last month. Nate was so easy to get a hold of and was really friendly on the phone. He also had a deal that month which made it really affordable. Considering we live overseas and I was too busy to get much of a playlist organised, Nate just figured it out and nailed it. Our family and friends loved his music choices and he even played requests. He got all of our favourites and played the right songs at the right time. So bummed we didn't get to spend much time with him, he seemed like such a nice guy. He also did some light MC work for us which was great.
