Now, to be completely open, I did not purchase my dress from this shop, but I did ask ahead of time if they'd still alter it and they said yes. However, they only want to start the process 45 days out. While that made me uncomfortable, I agreed... and made my appointment with Donna over the phone. I showed up for my appointment time and the doors were locked. I knocked on the door, Donna appeared, and she looked shocked to see me. I was not on her books... As the cherry on top, they are now too busy to accommodate my alterations and she said, "I just have a hard time saying no to people." Well I held back my tears until I got to the car and just bawled. I cannot stand when people or businesses go back on their word. I had high hopes but this boutique let this bride down HARD.
